Careful!!! It was a really bad experience. The lady doing my pedicure might have been inexperienced; since she started using the file all around my feet, causing scratches that made walking unconscious for days! She didn't even ask if the towel at the end was hot and just wrapped my feet in it. I was excited to try this place as it has really good reviews. I went in for a mani pedi. Within 24hrs my finger nails were severely chipping. I know what you're thinking- and no I was not picking at the manicure! The saving grace was that I called to let them know and they got me in to fix the manicure the next day. The new problem- my nails chipped again! I'm on mat leave and usually am working as a nurse and wash my hands all of the time and I'm in and out of gloves etc... never have I had my nail polish chip so easily--- even when I'm at work. I will have to look for other places nearby for future visits as the quality of polish is so poor. read more

Love this place! Started going here a few months ago for shellac/gel polish nails, and couldn't be happier. This is the one place I've been to in a long time that is consistently good, regardless of who is doing my nails. I've gone three times in a row so far, and I'm astounded each time with how long my nails last - normally I can only get maybe a week and a half/two weeks without chips, but I've been able to stretch it to three weeks here with no chips or cracks. It is a bit on the pricey side, but I go on Mondays when they have their manicure deal, so it's a little cheaper ($42 with tip). Definitely would recommend to anyone. read more

This is what I needed after a week of cleaning, packing, cleaning, moving, cleaning, unpacking, cleaning - someone to take care of my tired, painful, neglected feet and legs. Fresh Nails is next to a restaurant my family frequents and it looked so clean, modern and inviting with their all white interior and so I invited my niece to join me for a pedi. We were kindly greeted at reception and she had our chairs prepared right away even though we were early for our appointment. There was plenty of colour selection from popular nail polish brands for both regular and gel nail colours. The massage chairs were very comfortable and the techs were very efficient and the tools they used were sanitized. The place was very clean and quiet considering it's in a busy plaza. Wanted nail art and was specific about wanting it . My nail tech basically talked me out of it. I think she didn't know how. I don't get manicures very often at all (this was my 5th one in my life) and everywhere I've gone, I've had bad experiences and bad manicures! I think with Fresh Nail Bar, I've finally found my go to place! I found a photo on Pinterest and Kathy did everything I asked! She took her time and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. the polish is all the way to the edges and the tips of the nails were sealed off so they shouldn't chip anytime soon. I can't stop looking at my nails. The only negative was that there was some polish on my skin when I left that I would have liked for her to clean off but it washed off easy enough at home. This is by far one of the best nail bars in Coquitlam. I've been to this shop maybe 3-4 times, and all the staff are really nice. Irene was the one to do my nails today, and she was such a sweet girl! She was really gentle with my hands and was careful to paint every stroke with precision. She also tested the polish colour on one of my fingers to see if I liked it, which was really kind of her. The atmosphere of the place is great, and has an aesthetic feel to it. My first time going to Fresh for shellac Mani/Pedi Combo. The price isn't the cheapest I've ever seen but the service was amazing and hygienic. Minimal banter or chatter amongst staff. A little bit of Vietnamese here and there but I could tell they were training a new girl and it was professional and to the point. Never felt uncomfortable or talked about once. Pleasant relaxing music and a HGTV show playing softly. Honestly the best experience I've had at a nail salon in a really long time. The shellac on my nails is perfect. A few days before my appointment, I realized I should probably get my nails done (something I rarely do) because I was to be a bridesmaid in a wedding on Friday. Fresh Nail Bar was one of the best-rates nail places in the city for the price, so I booked an appointment for Thursday. It was quick and professional. The lady doing my nails was kind and professional but not too talkative which honestly made the experience better. Absolutely love this place! Super cute and definitely lives up to the name "Fresh"! I absolutely love the clean & modern decor. I'm visiting for my cousin's wedding and I usually don't get my nails done, but I had to try this place since I saw it pop up on my Instagram feed and found that it was new and in a super convenient location. They do a great job at mani/pedis! The staff is so sweet and friendly, and very considerate of how you want your nails done. The price is also super reasonable as well. For the amount of work they do, it would usually cost way more in other nail salons! Totally recommend this place, definitely think it's up and coming! I would give 10 stars if I could! read more

I went for a gel mani pedi. The interior is very pleasant and clean, and the staff are nice and professional. They had one person doing my french mani, and the other one my pedi. The most impressive part is that the mani person managed to get all the lines nice and straight even though the pedi person was giving me a very vigorous foot massage :). They have some reserved parking spots for customers right in front of the salon. I'll definitely go again. read more

My only complaint about this place is minimal nail colors. There really wasn't a lot of selection. However, I was really impressed on how the girl took her time and did an excellent job with my pedicure. And even though the colour was just OK, My nails look the best they've been in a while. I would definitely recommend this place. Update, I went back to fresh now to get a colour polish change. They have the best price I've seen at only $15. I was hesitant to go because of the lack of colours last time. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they had a lot more colours now. Not only that, the girl squeeze me in before she left for the night. Her recommendation of using a nail polish brand that won't chip worked amazingly. My nails lasted for almost 3 weeks. Booked a gel mani and gel pedi which is advertised as 85$ on the website. When I arrived for my appointment I was told they did not have time to apply tips for my mani and they cancelled that portion of my appointment. No where on the website does it say that's a separate booking. Stayed for my pedi and paid 67. They re booked me for the following day. Went in for my mani, they burned my finger horribly with uv gel and charged me full price (76$) for the mani. The price point for uv gel doesn't exist on the online menu of services (naturally I assume gel mani and gel pedi was the same description) My experience was less that satisfactory and my finger still hurts. Got a gift certificate for Christmas so I booked a "relaxing" pedicure. Or so I thought. When I arrived, there were 2 men fixing a washing machine in the main part of the salon. Vocalizing at the top of their lungs to each other every step of the way, hammering and drilling. Then they proceeded to move the machine right through the centre of the salon. All the while the owner and the men vocalizing as they went through. So loud and stressful with the noise. The girl that did my pedi did a pretty good job but never spoke a word to me. Decor is so fun and clean. Space is very inviting and truly embodies the word "fresh". Great service, brand new massage chairs, tea, chocolates and essential oils.
