I used to come here a lot because it was cheaper than other salons, but you definitely get what you pay for. The salon feels cheap and not very clean. One of the girls was giving me a pedicure and Anna (the owner) was giving me a manicure at the same time. The girl was scraping the dead skin off my foot and wasn't paying attention and scraped the side of my foot. Realizing what she'd done, she immediately dropped my foot in the water to hide the cut, which stung so fcking bad. I pulled my foot out of the water and blood was gushing out. Anna said something to her in Vietnamese and the girl ran to grab ointment and bandages. I'm not impressed that she didn't acknowledge her mistake right away, but I didn't make a fuss. The girl was so embarrassed, she didn't look at me for the rest of the time so Anna ended up taking my payment. It's surprising that she charged me full price and I'm an idiot for tipping on top of that. This was 2 months ago and I wasn't going to bother writing about this, but that cut is now a scar, which I'm not happy about. I will never go back there, if I had a health condition this could've ended even worse. read more

I decided to try this place after I saw positive reviews about the place. I managed to get a same day appointment. Covid 19 safety protocols are in place. They will text you the check in procedure -- call to let them know you have arrived and remain in your car till the nail technician is ready for you. What about those who do not drive? And I saw other customers who came in later who definitely did not call ahead to announce their arrival. Street parking is available though it can be tricky to get a spot during popular hours. Capacity has been halved as only alternate station is used and they are fitted with plexiglass. They should not be using the first station near the door as it was next to the nail polish display case. I could tell the customer in that chair was uncomfortable when I had to go to the case to pick out the color. And I was told to go pick out what I wanted. Definitely no social distancing for that. They did a double booking when I was there and the other client had to come back at a later time. This was quite the fastest pedicure I ever had. It was done in 20-30 minutes. As it was winter and cold out there and I did not manage to get "Rock star" parking aka right in front of the shop, I did not want to wear my flip flops out. So I waited for another 15 minutes for the nails to dry. Another thing to note was how the purpose of mask wearing was defeated when the nail tech pulled down her mask to blow on my toes to dry them faster. I was stunned but just prayed for the best. I also did not like the fact there was a $1 service charge added to the bill when it was not stated anywhere in the price list etc. Be upfront about all charges so customers can make informed decisions. Maybe it was due to covid, but there was no toe separator being used while painting the nails. Other places would use tissue paper wound around the toes instead of the usual sponge separators. While the pedicure itself is ok, I am not sure if I will return again. I have been avoiding nail salons due to covid and this was my first pedicure in about a year and the blowing on my toes really shook me. read more

It's nice to get some gel polish on before going on vacation am I right??? Right !! I think it's worth the investment so you can feel done-up without having to worry about the hassle of chipping your nails while doing all the exploring that you have planned! So I found a trick... if you want to save a bit of money, don't do the * full * gel manicure and pedicure. Just get a "polish" change, which means they don't do the whole procedure. They just cut / file / shape your nails and throw the gel polish on -- good enough for me! a gel polish for hands and toes adds up to just under $50 for both. Call ahead for an appointment -- they will likely still take you if you just walk in, but all the ladies are usually busy so you will definitely have to wait a while! read more

I love this little nail salon. Anna, the owner, is very kind. I love all my manicures that I get from here from any of the manicurists. My favourite thing about this salon is how careful they are with your nails and how well they clean up the cuticle. You have to be clear with what you want in regards to shaping and they will execute perfectly. read more

Had a shellac pedi. Was ok. Went back the next day to get a mani. Asked them if they could fix one toe that the polish was applied unevenly. Made the biggest scene about it and were so rude. Terrible customer service received. Will never go back. read more

Discovered this gem close to home and love it here. Highly recommend them for their quality of work (they are meticulous and don't rush), prices (check their FB page for price list) and the super friendly staff. They also have a TV in the back playing girlie movies which is nice. Trang was my technician and she was great, she would check with me on the shape and number or coats as she did my nails. Visiting Vancouver and needed a nail fill. Found this place and went in when they opened on a Saturday. They said they don't do acrylic fills on Saturday even though they were just sitting around. Really....their web page didn't say anything about that. I ended up going to Urban Nail Spa in the Mall and they did an amazing job. Glad Sculpture Nails turned me down. The salon looks small and not to welcoming or clean anyways. read more

The 5 of us girls wanted to get our nails done together on short notice, and this place was able to accomodate us for a Saturday afternoon appointment. We had told the ladies what we each wanted to get in advance, but when we started there was a bit of a mix up. 3 of my friends got manicures only, and the 2 of us wanted to get both manicures and pedicures, but the ladies thought we only wanted pedicures so we waited quite a bit, and by then there were no manicure tables open. However, the massage chair that I was in was super comfortable, and they just did my manicure there. The ladies there were all quite nice, and for $45 the mani/pedi combo is a pretty good deal. The massages were nice, and the lady even used hot stones on my feet! The mix up was a genuine mistake and really the only thing that went wrong during our visit. I will be back! read more

I've gotten my nails done here several times. I'm not one to do my nails religiously and the rare occasions that I do, it's always gel nails for me. I've had different nail techs were on my nails and were happy every single time. The shape was always perfect, and application was even. One time, I was feeling adventurous and requested marble patterns on my accent nails. For those nails, the owner came over and did them for me...perfectly. Prices are soooo reasonable. I'm surprised at the good reviews. Ive been there twice. I just got a gel polish change both times. The first time, it was okay. It was the owner who did my nails. The colour did last three weeks but the shape of my nails were uneven. This place is close to my house so I went back again for another polish change. This time another lady did my nails and she was so rude. Every colour I picked, she would say they don't have it but didn't help me find a similar colour. Also I asked for almond shape but she did round and said my nails are too short but never confirmed with me before doing it. She keeps going on her phone and leaned back in her chair as if she's chling at home. She was just so rude that I didn't even want to tip her. It's been a week and my shellac is coming off already. She is a perfectionist.....went in to get a chipped nail fixed...Anna who works there was talking on the phone the whole time ...very unprofessional and screwed up my french manicure . When I told her it was crooked she argued with me that it was my nail. What? Mary was nice enough to remove her bad work and totally fixed it! This place is great! They do such a good job. I leave happy always and they are very nice and friendly. Their prices are also reasonable and for pedis they do exfoliating,scrub, massage and hot stone. I had been to this salon once before as a walk-in. When I phoned to get an appointment for a mani-pedi, I mentioned that I had ingrown toenails. The women then started yelling at me to go see a doctor. When I mentioned my nails were not that bad. She continued to yell to go see a doctor. Needless to say I will not be back. I'm flexible with their staff so I've had services done by Anna, Lucy, Helen, and a couple other girls, they are all fantastic and friendly! Clean salon, hygienic plastic wraps that are changed out between each client for pedis, recliner massage chairs for pedis. And there's always a movie playing in the background which makes me want to stay longer so I can finish watching it LOL read more
