Fresh Kitchen - Veggie bowl (sweet potato noodles, mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, spinach, grape tomatoes) - Vegetarian Near Me - Orlando, Florida

This specific FK was great awhile back but lately last few times I have gone. The staff seems to be super stingy with the portion of anything ... I can understand the protein being measured. But when it comes to noodles or rice as an example a tiny scoop isn't going to be filling for many adults . I am giving it 3 stars due to the fact that the food taste great but the portion given isn't worth the price being asked. Hopefully the portions are more in near future read more

I can't even begin to describe how happy I am that I found this place!! For starters, it's ADORABLE inside. I feel like I'm in the Miami Vice show with the eccentric colors and retro feel. It's definitely a trendy and casual dining place that is completely "instagramable" (for all of my fellow millennials). The first time I went, my boyfriend and I split a Six Bowl which gets 2 bases, 2 proteins, and 2 toppings. Let me just say this: it's a lot of food! I went back a second time and ordered the Six Bowl just for myself and couldn't finish it all. I love that they don't skimp out on portion sizes. The staff is also extremely nice. Everyone always has a smile on their face and they let you sample things if you're feeling unsure. Another side note: I follow a plant-based diet and this place caters to my every need!! They have vegan mashed potatoes, tofu, guacamole, and MORE!! I really recommend you to try this place out! read more

My girlfriend and I were introduced to this place by one of our vegan coworkers and we are now big fans! We have eaten here both dine-in and delivery and had great experiences both ways. We just recently went (mostly) vegan and Fresh Kitchen has been a life saver on days where we just don't feel like cooking. Their brussel sprouts and sweet potato noodles are amazing and the tofu is a great option for vegans. Service has always been speedy and friendly. Would highly recommend. read more

Absolutely LOVE FK and I try to go whenever I'm in the area. A friend of mine introduced me and I've been addicted ever since. The location is always clean and the staff is always really friendly and helpful. I typically get a bowl with greens, bbq chicken and broccoli. Their broccoli is my absolute favorite and full of flavor. No bowl is complete without one of their famous sauces, I love the creamy ginger. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quick, healthy and affordable meal. read more

FK is easily one of the most consistently delicious food locations I've been to. Whether in Tampa or Orlando locations, my bowls have always been full of robust flavor and obvious taste of fresh ingredients. I've tried a lot of different options and combinations of food from here, and never fails to disappoint. HOLY YUMMY! 10/10 recommend. read more

Good food ! Fresh ! Affordable! Tasty . I usually get the brown rice .quinoa . Grilled chicken. Broccoli and mushroom

I always love going to grab food, but most of the workers are typically pretty monotone and don't give much attention, but shout out to fresh kitchen, i met a worker named Spencer who showed great hospitality in assisting me through my first time there, he clearly was interested in my time there, and was well mannered! read more

At glance and first experience this restaurant will make you feel like they are about to change your life. Then as time goes on and you more frequently visit the place, you notice all the things behind the flair and smoke. Veggan .. where ? Lol !! They cross contaminate all their serving utensils and mixing bowls. The presentation of the bowl is outrageous. They now throw all your food as it falls no organization or pride on the $25 dollar bowl for 2 with drinks. I decided to inform the manager (who refused to give her name) that the service and presentation had gotten so bad I was considering not returning. She went on to tell me "this is how we stack our bowls, we take lots of pride on how we present out food to the customers". If this is a direct reflection of the company motto and standards, I'll no longer continue to be a loyal customer. read more

I love fresh kitchen! The salmon is one if my favs. I love the kale salad as well. Yunny

This is a great spot to get a customized meal! And they have plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, as well as regular diets. You get to choose a base, veggies, protein, sauce and there are add on items available. Everything I got was very well seasoned and just delicious! I absolutely loved their tofu, which is nicely marinated. Their coconut sriracha cauliflower and sauce are AMAZING. I mean I liked this food so much that I got back in line to order some food for my husband and for myself for lunch the next day. My order: Base: brown rice & veggie quinoa Vegetables: veggie chili & roasted cauliflower Protein: tofu Sauce: coconut sriracha Sides: creamy guacamole and black bean salsa read more

Fresh Kitchen - My bowl-- ALL vegan. - Vegetarian Near Me - Orlando, Florida

So I finally was able to get down to the Fresh Kitchen after hearing so much about it. My coworker suggested we go after she had an amazing experience. So we arrived around noon(everyone knows it's lunchtime), walked into the building and the rush had not hit yet. The menu is so overwhelming and I feel like everything was moving so fast(which is usually not a problem), but since we were the only ones in line at the time, I was expecting a bit of a slower pace to see what I wanted. I got a bowl with I believe two bases, a vegetable, and a protein. I added an extra protein(because I'm extra), but there's so much going on with the menu I couldn't decide what I wanted. For the bases, I chose a hot and cold item. I chose cauliflower potato mash and sweet potato noodles. The cauliflower potato mash(exactly what it sounds like), was okay in taste but horrible in texture. I wasn't a fan of the texture with the potato chunks and the confusion of what is cauliflower and what is potato. The sweet potato noodles were amazing! I could have gotten more but it was too late. I can't describe the taste, let's just say my taste buds were happy. For the vegetable I got what I thought was Parmesan broccoli, now I'm not sure where exactly the Parmesan was but the broccoli was amazing! For my proteins I got salmon and steak, I believe I was charged extra for both. The salmon wAs so small I was a bit disappointed to have paid extra and to see the amount, but considering the amount of food you get. It was okay! The steak wasn't cooked to my liking(I'm a medium well girl), the steak seemed to be medium rare. All in all, I think I did pretty good with putting my bowl together. Now it did take awhile to get my food, I believe I had to wait on the broccoli and the salmon. But when I did receive it, I didn't regret a thing. I think I found a new lunch spot, I just know to call in my order first since it seems that they got out faster! I spent $16(including a $2 tip), but considering what I got. I understand! read more

My husband was just looking around at restaurants on his map app. When he came across this o e he thought it sounded good and different from what we had seen on our trip. We love to eat fresh when we are back home and this place helped us do it while on the road. We LOVED it. I think I told him about 5x how glad I was that he found it. So, really, so good. I had the quinoa/spinach salad, roasted Brussels sprouts/mushrooms, bbq chicken/lemon chicken & white ginger sauce on the side. He had the sweet potato noodles/ (not sure which) rice, almond chicken/ lemon chicken, Brussels sprouts/ mushrooms & coconut sriracha. Wow just wow. If it hadnt been for my company purchasing lunch for a client meeting, I wouldnt have tried out this GEM. From the minute I took my first bite I was impressed and knew that my life would forever be changed. Since then, I found out the nearest location and went. It was even better at the location. Great prices and many different options. Imagine going in a line and being asked to choose a veggie, 1 or 2 proteins and a sauce. I cant even tell you what my favorite was and thats because out of all of them, I enjoyed eating everything. Even the broccoli was superb. Makes me question why I never heard of this place until now. If want healthy but dont want boring.... EAT at the fresh kitchen. I most certainly will return and this time I'll put together a schedule to mix and match to have fun with it. read more

I can't say enough about how awesome this place. The best part is that it's guilt free eating too. The selection is plentiful and the food is very well prepared. I got the six bowl so my exact order was: sweet potato noodles (served cold), cauliflower/potato mashed, parmesan broccoli, sweet potato, bbq chicken, and steak. The steak and chicken come off of a real grill so they both have a very smokey and savory flavor. My only (small) complaint is that the broccoli has been a little on the burnt side the last few times that I got it. Even so, I got the broccoli again today because it isn't horrible tasting. Also, the music was awesome! read more

Very good food, well seasoned for a fast meal. Nothing bad to say about the only time that I went.

This is like the hip, health, younger version of chipotle. I say get the 6 bowl cause it's only $1.5 more and you don't have to pick only one veggie or meat. If you're having trouble deciding, you can't go wrong with the broccoli, mushrooms or noodles. I enjoyed the Thai chicken more than the almond bread chicken cause it was more tender, though I'd still get both. I was a huge fan of the creamy ginger sauce though next time, I may need to get an extra container. read more

I don't know what took me so long to come in here but I am now obsessed! It took me a minute to study the menu, but I took a chance and ordered a bowl that was so delicious I cannot wait to go back. I opted for sweet potato noodles and spinach, grilled chicken, roasted mushrooms, feta cheese, and creamy ginger dressing. OMG, it was crazy good. I love a fresh option that is also fast. I got my creation to go and was in and out of there in 5 minutes. This is an absolute do again for me!! read more

100% recommend, this place is delicious. Healthy, filling, and tasty as heck. Super nice staff too!

Honestly this is me and my boyfriend's go to when we're in the SODO area. It's so good! I love the freshness of the food plus the variety! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is also very bright and welcoming. When I go, I usually get the steak because it is sooo tender, but my bf gets the chicken and it gives it good reviews every time! read more

Stopped by after having an appointment in the area and it's a great concept. I got rice, kale ceaser, broccoli, steak and added avocado. Also got the balsamic sauce on the side. The broccoli and steak were both amazing and fresh. My rice was just okay but no big deal. My only complaint is that everything seems like an up charge. I don't mind paying a higher price for healthy and delicious food but I think they should just charge a set price for whatever protein instead of marking things as up charges. I think we had a total of 6 up charges between the two of us and it seemed excessive. read more

I loved eating here very clean only thing to be aware of is the noodles are really cold and with the rest of my hot meal it didn't fit in.

Driven by tons of times. Finally trying to make better food choices so i stopped in. So glad I did. I plan to make this a regular part of my diet to try and get my eating under control. Everything was delicious and I felt great all night. (No food coma feeling) Love that it is a Florida based company. Love the concept. Thanks for existing! read more

Wow!! First visit and I was absolutely blown away. Fresh fresh fresh ! It's a walk through, you choose your base, protein and veggies and top it off with a sauce. Earth friendly containers as well. I had the spinach, tofu with chic peas, green beans and of course guacamole. Lots of options for drinks as well, dessert was brownies made from zucchini. Cost was reasonable and the staff was friendly. Place was clean with plenty of parking. Line was long at 12:30 but it was worth the wait. Seriously if this place was closer to my home I would be here at least a couple times a week. One suggestion- food waste can be composted read more

I think it's great that there is a dedicated gluten free restaurant. But they totally steered me wrong regarding my soy allergy. I asked if the SF meant soy free and they said yes, so I went by that and ended up with a sauce with soy sauce in it. SF means sugar free, evidently. After getting an unexpected pounding headache, I looked up their info online and found out about the sauce. read more

**update 2/11/2019** The manager reached out to me and wanted to make it right and invited us back to try out Fresh Kitchen again. We clearly got them on an off-night our first time there. Tonight, the line moved quickly, service was fast, I heard the staff letting people know steak and tuna were an up-charge, the steak was ready, and my tuna only took about 2 minutes! I am now enjoying my happy bowl and it's fresh and delicious. I will be back. So pleased to see management take concerns to heart and genuinely want to do better. Thank you FK! read more

I was stoked that this place was coming to Orlando. I discovered it in Tampa when we need food quick! So when I noticed that they were building one so close to my favorite yoga studio. Shout out to Elevate Yoga! It made the perfect post or pre yoga lunch! Even if you're not the health conscious one, don't hesitate, this place has something for everyone! Service is super quick on refreshingly healthy and fresh foods! This place answers the desperate need our country has for delicious, quick and healthy food options! I only wish there was one close to work. Im a sucker for the almond baked chicken... Straight up what a mcnugget wishes it was. I tried the steak today and am wildly impressed with how juicy and perfectly seasoned it is (worth the extra $1.50) The teriyaki chicken doesn't disappoint either. All of the veggie options are awesome, from the basil mushrooms, parm brocolli, sweet potato bites and sesame green beans. As for a base, the coconut ginger rice is my JAM!!! But the cauliflower mash does a great impression of fluffy mashed potatoes and the spinach salad, veggie quinoa and kale slaw are wonderful options as well. I just wish they had more sauces, I always end up going towards the creamy ginger because there's something about the other flavors are half gross half awesome... You know ... Cucumber! Oh I like that.... Jalapeno.... Well damnit. Or coconut... Oh! Amazing.... Siracha... For real?? That's still a thing? Drinks are plentiful! Sodas for those who just HAVE to... But the teas and frescas are where it's at. The sweet green tea is perfectly honey sweetened, combined with the mango black tea... I'll drink ten of these before I leave. Try a little of all of them, they're all distinctly delicious. You've found the answer to what America needs... It's healthy, delicious, fast and inexpensive! read more

I love the staff, beautiful spirit, lively , professional and the food is delicious. God bless the staff and this establishment

I eat here about 2-3 times a week. When it comes to a healthy food options and affordability I can't really think of another place that can compete. I've been begging for a new place I can get healthy food quickly for years so I'm glad this place is here and seems to be doing well (steadily busy). I also like how they change their options seasonally. I was sad to see the Brussels sprouts go but the blackened chicken they just brought in is my new favorite protein of theirs. I recommend that holy kale sauce as well. Dope spot, good prices and good food. read more

I had asked for the base on the side due to potential allergy and was advised this was impossible. Several workers confirmed. Even if you pay for something included, you can't get an item on the side - even for a medical reason! It was suggested that I buy a kids bowl with my requested item that I already paid for! Other reviews talk about the penny pinching but this takes the cake. No Thanks! read more

One of favorite "fast food" healthy options when wanting to eat right and need to eat out. We have tried all of the bases, proteins, and veggies. I always get the "kids bowl" because the portion amount is good for me! You get one base; one protein, one veggie and one sauce with the kids. The sweet potato noodle base or cauli mash are my faves! Definitely try the Holy Kale sauce as well. read more

My review is based on two visits, and one order that was picked up. My first order was picked up by a co worker for lunch. Online ordering makes FK so convenient. I chose a pick four after friends were raving about the sweet potato noodles and cauliflower mash. For this bowl I chose the marinated chicken and broccoli. I wasn't impressed with the broccoli but the noodles, cauliflower mash & chicken were absolute heaven. It was so good. At $8.59 however, it was going to have to be an occasional splurge. Next visit was again online order, but I went and picked It up. Wow - what a fresh, clean and hip place. I was loving all the pink, the flowers, the FK shirts with the witty sayings. So when I arrived the menu is clearly posted with the offerings. It's like a Chipotle style set up: pick a base, pick some veggies, pick some proteins, pick some sauce, pick add on's if you want. The offerings however leave you with no middle ground. You either pick a child's bowl (which for lunch is perfect) with 1 offering of each base, protein, veggie, and sauce. Then it jumps to 2 bases, 1 protein, 1 sauce. The price jump from child to the 4 bowl for only 1 base is not justified to me. Since I wanted to change it up this time, I chose a different veggie, mushroom, and a different chicken - the almond chicken. Both good choices this time around, but the bad stomach ache I experienced later left me feeling like FK didn't sit well with me. Third time around I went big and ordered the 6 bowl with green beans, citrus chicken, steak, and my favs sweet potato noodles and cauliflower POTATO mash. I emphasize potato because I felt a little foolish on my previous visits thinking it was just cauliflower and can only think others are thinking the same. My citrus chicken tastes just like, my steak was good but grisly, the green beans had no flavor, and why was everything so spicy tonight. I think it's also the price point that get's me. It's expensive. The online ordering is great! Order and pay online and there is a place set aside for pick ups with your name on it. To go bags are super conveniently located for you to grab when you are ready. FK - you are good, but not good enough for me to let my money go there any time soon. read more

Fresh tasting food! I think that there are plenty of protein varieties here. I really appreciate the unique flavors of the vegetables. I never thought I would like brussels sprouts! The sauces are also very unique and blend well with the food. It is very easy to show up at least once or twice a week! read more
