I recently tried Just Salad in Winter Garden and had a great experience. I ordered a build-your-own salad to go, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out--everything was extremely fresh. I also love that they make all of their salad dressings in-house. This place is very casual and is great to come dressed down after the gym, or to order takeout. The two employees working the counter were very friendly and helpful. At first, I was a little confused about what was included in the base price versus which toppings were considered premium, but they took the time to clearly explain everything without making me feel rushed. I just moved to Winter Garden and am originally from California, and I've been missing my go-to salad spot back home (Simply Salad). I'm so grateful to have found Just Salad--it definitely fills that void! Even better, it's only about a 3-minute drive from my new home. I actually ordered this at the end of the night through Too Good To Go since I hadn't tried it before. The staff were super friendly and quick. They offer reusable bowls or you can dine in at the cost and clean location. The food is Chipotle-like, but the options are greater and the prices are less. Kitchen is entirely open, you can see every ingredient that will be used, the dining area spotless, plants are apart of the decor in the dining area. The ordering process is straightforward. They offer warm bowls, salads wraps, soups, avocado toast, and Plant based smoothies. You can build your own warm bowls, salads, and wraps. You can get a pick 2 combo (Medium Salad, Small Soup, Single Avo Toast, Smoothie, and Chips + Drink) I ended up ordering the Warm Chicken Thigh and Goat Cheese Bowl ( Braised Chicken Thigh, Arugula, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Creamy Goat, Roasted Balsamic Mushrooms) This dish had a symphony of flavor. Every component was made to perfection. The braised chicken thigh was succulent and delicious. The roasted balsamic mushrooms tied everything together. It was absolutely one of the freshest meals I've had. The quality of ingredients were stellar. Love it. For my beverage I got the cucumber mint lemonade. It was delicious, not too sweet, and once again very fresh. Finally I got a chocolate chip cookie. This was made in house and it to no surprise... deliciousness. My wife ordered the Honey Crispy Chicken Wrap ( Extra Crisp Romaine, Spinach + Shredded Cabbage, Crispy Chicken, Crumbled Feta, Regenerative Organic Quinoa, Roasted Corn, Crispy Onions, Sliced Carrots) She added a Thai Peanut sauce on the side. My wife love this wrap a lot. Packed with delicious fresh ingredients. The Thai peanut sauce stole the show. She said dipping the wrap in the sauce took it to another level. It was a 5 star wrap for her. For her beverage she got the Strawberry Lemonade. She thought it was one of the best lemonades she's had. I recently tried Just Salad for the first time by having a salad delivered. I built my own salad as opposed to ordering one they have designed. The ingredients were very fresh and was a great portion. I tied the Lemon Basil Vinaigrette and while it was ok, I didn't love it. It was thicker and creamier than what I wanted for a vinaigrette but wasn't bad. My only real complaint was the "Andy's Amazing Chocolate Chip Cookie". It was far from amazing. Sorry Andy. For $1.50 I was surprised it was about the size of a chips a'hoy cookie you'd buy at the grocery store. Getting past the size I thought it looked dark when I pulled it out of the package, but it actually tasted burnt. If they are baked fresh, I get it and maybe it's easier to sell the burnt ones on delivery, but it honestly should have been thrown away. Will I go here/order from here again? I order ahead of time and eve give it a few minutes after the time it says it will be ready and they STILL make you wait over 30-40 minutes just to get your food even after ordering ahead. This is located in Winter Garden, specifically the Winter Garden Village, more towards the back. This is a fast casual, quick service restaurant with seating inside or availability to order to go. Just Salad is a fresh quick service restaurant offering salads, bowls, wraps and avocado toast. We have not been here, but I am so glad we came over for dinner. Since we have not been here, we had to look over the menu for a bit. Their options were pretty large, offering many different choices including chicken or tofu as the protein. They have some prechosen dishes, or you can create your own. I ultimately chose the chicken Caesar wrap but I wanted crispy chicken as opposed to grilled chicken. Everything is made right in front of you, they add all your ingredients to a bowl then the last stop is the sauce. They have tons of sauces available to add and will ask if you want it light, medium or heavy. I personally loved this option as I usually prefer more dressing. I also asked for their Thai Peanut sauce on the side. I wanted to try it and it was so good. It didn't pair well with the Caesar but was still really good. The wrap itself was so good, I really enjoyed it. If there was a comment, it would be I wished there was more chicken. The wrap was mostly lettuce. But I would still give this a 10/10! My husband chose the warm chicken and goat cheese bowl. It had grilled chicken, goat cheese, mushrooms and spinach and sweet potatoes. He loved this! I tasted his bowl as well and the chicken with the goat cheese, delicious! This was a great bowl and so much healthier than your standard chicken bowl. For drinks I chose the strawberry lemonade which was so good I kept going back for more. I think this must have been homemade because it tasted fresh and was so yummy. My husband did the cucumber mint which was also fantastic. He really liked this as well and he is not a huge juice fan. We also ordered the chocolate chip cookie and when I say this was one of the best cookies ever, it's the truth! This cookie was so good and 100% homemade. I could have eaten so many. All in all this was a fantastic restaurant and we have totally found a new staple in our restaurants. If you have not been, I highly suggest stopping by one of their locations in Central Florida. I'm so glad I got an opportunity to try Just Salad. 1st of all, it's not Just Salad! They also have wraps, rice bowls, and avocado toast. We went on a Saturday at 7pm, it was really quiet. I noticed however that one employee was busy preparing online or phone orders. We were greeted immediately upon entering and the young woman behind the counter explained the ordering process after learning it was our 1st time there. They have several premade choices or you can build your own bowl. I ordered 2 premade options and 2 build your own. I ordered the cowboy beyond chicken salad which is one of several vegan options, but they were out of Beyond Chicken so they subbed tofu. My son enjoyed the salad but was left hungry. I ordered the limited time bbq Shrooms bowl which was phenomenal. I enjoyed it very much and my son who hates mushrooms, liked it too! My husband and daughter built their own warm bowls. Hubs was left hungry too so I guess this might not be the best spot for big appetites. The cucumber Mint Lemonade was really good. Not too sweet and the chocolate chip cookie tasted like till house cookies and I mean that as a compliment! The dining room was empty and clean but we chose to take our food to go. The restrooms were clean but the ladies room was a bit messy. Overall I love that there's a Salad place so close to home and I will definitely be back. Absolutely horrible service the past two - three weeks. I order multiple times a week for pick up as it is easy and convenient. We've had 2 orders that were not ready until more than 30 mins after the assigned pick up time. and a third time they completely forgot a smoothie. Both the delayed times were blamed on chicken by the staff. The first time couldve been a fluke, and we moved on but the second time (tonight) was terrible. The man working pickup orders was moving incredibly slowly with five people waiting. (all of us waited at least 20 minutes). At one point he picked up his phone and went into the back. They helped the customers who had just walked in prior to those who had preordered. When I finally got home with my salad, there was next to no dressing on it, essentially dry. I called customer service and the offered me a whole $10 credit on my account. (a basic salad is $12). I should maybe thank them since I won't be ordering from them again. read more

I am a huge fan of Just Salad! I recently had the pleasure of participating in a Yelp elite event at the Waterford lakes location; however, this Winter Garden location is much closer to me. My only issue is that the parking in this section of the plaza where Just Salad is located is very tight, especially if you are visiting on the weekend. But other than that, the food is excellent and I love that they offer a you pick too which is essentially the same price as a full salad, but instead you get a half salad and smoothie. My Favorite!! I love any place where I can build my own salad. This place offers a bunch of already named salads on the menu, but they also have a build your own option and they have lots of toppings to choose from. It can get a little pricy when you like a lot of different toppings like me, but I believe a BYOS comes with 3 or 4 toppings and if you have one of their reusable salad bowls you get 1 free topping! I had a promo for $5 off if you order online so I decided to give this new place a try. The deal was actually pretty good and my salad came out to $8. Definitely a reasonable price I'd pay again for what I got. I wouldn't pay the full $13 though. That seems like a hefty price to pay for what I got, especially considering how small the salad was and how few of each ingredient was actually on the salad. I tried their new seasonal winter harvest salad, which was kale, chicken, cauliflower/broccoli rice, sweet potatoes, almonds, apples, and goat cheese. I opted to try chili vinaigrette and poblano ranch instead of the balsamic. The salad had nice big chunks of chicken, sweet potatoes, and goat cheese, but the almonds, apples, and cauliflower/broccoli rice were almost nonexistent. The chicken was also very, very overcooked. It was only edible because I doused it in dressing. I really loved the dressings though I will say. Both of them were absolutely delicious! I ended up mixing them together because one container was so small and barely covered the salad. Like I said, the flavors were pretty good but for what I got I can't imagine paying full price what they're asking for what I got. Update: I had a chance to try this place a second time. The manager Ray was spectacular. Truly great customer service. He went above and beyond my expectations. Both salads I had gave me a totally different experience than the first time. Updating my review as I decided to give this place a second try. Ordering without my reusable bowl meant more food in the container, which was nice. I ordered a build my own salad with the super greens blend, sweet potatoes, broccoli, edamame, 1 portion of grilled chicken and one of tofu. Yogurt dressing on the side. So this is the first time at a just salad, and I was pleased with the salad (Edamame Crunch) I purchased. The girls behind the counter were very nice and friendly and accommodating. The salad ingredients were very tasty some were grilled, they seemed fresh, lots and lots of options. The reason they got a four instead of a five is because they use impossible chicken and I don't particularly like the impossible brand because they tested their product on animals which I think disqualifies them as a vegan company. IMO, they should use Beyond or Gardien for their vegan chicken. However, the other vegan option is tofu and it was pretty good, a little salty, but tasty. I will add that I really appreciated them using compostable bowls for takeout. The ambience is sort of cafeteria Ish, but it's spacious and clean and a good space to just have a salad. read more

Frustrating... I have never had an issue until today. The girl that helped me just made it a bad experience from the get go. I wanted a Peruvian plate and told her to just use a bit of rice. I assumed it was going to be like places like Chipotle, Blaze Pizza, or Chopt where you walk down the assembly line with someone, adding ingredients at your whim. Unfortunately, it wasn't like that. I ordered the California Cobb salad and it was "fine." There was nothing really outstanding about it. It wasn't packed with flavor. Maybe I should have picked a different dressing than the balsamic that comes with it. Or maybe I should have built my own salad, even though you don't get a lot of ingredients to add. Or maybe we should have gone somewhere else. I was also disappointed at the drink options, so I just ordered water. On my recent visit at 7:15pm, there was only one employee assembling salads, with the assistance of another on and off. Which resulted in a 25min wait from getting in-line to paying for food. So I'd like to see more hands on deck, especially around dinner time. Another opportunity would be listing out toppings (not just the extras) in a visible place to simplify building or customizing your salad. The only reason that I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars is because you have to pay to make substitutions/exchanges. There are certain things I can't eat so if I ask to leave one topping off and instead substitute or swap out for something else, you think that it would be an even exchange but I'm told that even though I left off/omitted one item in place of another that I would have to pay extra to swap. I recently ordered delivery first time heard the food was excellent. Although the salad was good. It really didn't seem that fresh. I select the buffalo cauliflower salad with the dressing on the side with the bread. 1. it took 2 hours to get the meal, the time when ordered was 45 minutes. 2. I only had 3 pieces of cauliflower which is weird since it was a buffalo cauliflower salad and the piece of bread was hard. And it seemed like they put dressing on the salad and then realized it should have been on the side. 3. My friend got a coupon code for a discount off a salad with a mobile order so we decided to try Just Salad for lunch yesterday. Their options gave a wide variety of salads/ bowl options. My mobile order was slated to be ready at 1:25pm so I arrived shortly before that just in case it was ready sooner. The first employee checked on me and said they were waiting on the tofu in my order (totally fine, no issue). We weren't in a rush but my friend got his order on time when theirs was set at 1:21 so I felt bad that he had to wait for my order. My salad wasn't done till about 1:35pm (once again, not a big deal/ enough to voice a complaint) but you could tell the employees felt bad I had to wait so one of them offered me a buy one, get one coupon for a future visit.
