Mine had the BBQ chicken, chickpeas and sweet potato noodles. It was delicious! One of the best bowl meals I've had! All the flavors were so good and cooked just right. Our daughter and son-in-law that was eating with us said their drink options were delicious and they loved them! We just ordered water. I loved the outdoor seating area. If you have pets this will be a great place to sit. We are in Winter Garden a lot when traveling back and forth from Jacksonville. We will definitely be stopping here again at Fresh Kitchen!

You build your meal by choosing your base, veggies, protein, and dressing as you go down the line. I ended up with the kale Caesar, sweet potato noodles, marinated tomatoes, almond chicken, curried chickpeas, and the Green Goodness dressing. It was definitely an interesting combination, and it really hit the spot. From looking at Yelp photos, it seems like there are more ingredient options if you order in-store than through Uber Eats, so I'd probably try that next time. My only real complaints are that the portions felt a little small for the price, and not every flavor combination is a winner. But if you're looking for a fresh, customizable meal with lots of healthy options, it's definitely worth checking out.

It is a fast casual salad, sandwich, wrap, acai bowl place. They offer their suggested combos or you can always create your own. I was told to create my own always from an employee as their suggested combos I usually don't want one or two items and want to switch it out. However, last time I visited my create your salad was over $20. I was beyond annoyed. Not sure if the person was new, she did have a tough time ringing it up but she charged me for every little thing. I did not even get a lot of toppings- lettuce, chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, bacon and parmesan cheese. Like hardly anything. She charged me for the chicken, she charged me for extra cheese, she charged me for extra dressing. Their dressing since I got it to go was served in the tiniest container so almost forced to get extra. I just find it highly discouraging when you are trying to order something heathy and have to pay over $20 for lettuce and 6 toppings?! Inside is very clean, it is usually never busy, there are some tables inside as well. The team members are usually very nice. Their items look very fresh for the most part. The shrimp did not look that great but I ordered chicken. They do have lots of ovens and such so they are making things there fresh. I have only ever had salads here but they do offer wraps as well. The person behind me in line was ordering 2 wraps and they looked really good. Overall, I do like this place, I just cant get behind their prices. For the same price I could have a full meal or make a ton of salads myself at home. I was very disappointed with how I was charged. My husband ordered one of the suggested salads, which had more toppings than I had and his salad was about $6 cheaper. That's how I know I was overcharged. They do have an app in which I guess you can earn points, Im not sure if I will ever spend enough here to earn anything. However, if you are looking for something fresh and healthy I would say give it a shot, hopefully you have a better experience than me.

Overall 3.75 Stars…read more If you need a healthy alternative to heavy laden carbs or fried / rich foods, then this place is for you. After spending a day at a theme park and eating their options, it was nice to "clean" your body out with a good and healthy salad. Located on Sand Lake road near Publix and multiple eateries, this place has a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, and a limited selection of soups. Ambiance: 3.5 Stars The place was clean and has plentiful seating. Ranging from bar style or bench and tables. It is Deli style when ordering. Go to the back and select the type of salads, rice / couscous, soups, or sandwiches. There are pre-fixed options or you can build your own bowl. The eatery was clean, open and airy. Natural lighting was pleasant with the large front windows. It would have been a higher star rating for the ambiance, but the bathrooms needed some work. Though it was clean and roomy, there was no soap and limited toilet paper. Staff: 3.5 Stars Deli The employees were friendly and professional. Our server assisted us with questions and our selections. However, with the middle Eastern dialect and his ability to speak at a rate of the sound barrier, he had to repeat a few times for us to understand. Note: His patience was much appreciated. Food: 3.75 Stars We all chose several different salads. Three were pre-fixed and one was customized. 1. Shanghai Chicken Salad - 3.5 Stars Roasted chicken, edamame, scallions, almonds, cilantro, red cabbage, romaine perfectly paired with miso sesame vinaigrette Contains: Nuts, Soy I chosen the chopped romaine leaves as the base. It was light and flavorful from the dressing. However the chicken was a little bit overcooked and dry. The condiments were plentiful and fresh. Though it was good and had protein, I felt somewhat satisfied. I could eaten another bowl. 2. Chicken Shawarma - 4 Stars Blackened diced chicken thigh, kale, hummus, baba ghanoush, pickles, Israeli salad with Greek yogurt and tahini dressing. The based options are rice melody or couscous. I chose the rice melody. This bowl was more satisfying than the Shanghai Chicken Salad. The chicken tasted juicy, tender and flavorful. Choosing a thigh instead of breast brings the umami flavor of the chicken. The fresh veggies and tahini dressing was a perfect match for this option. 3. Santa Fe Salad - 3.5 Stars avocado, corn, local jack & cheddar, grape tomatoes, onions, tortilla chips, local kale, romaine, perfectly paired with chipotle-lime vinaigrette with a fresh lime squeeze. My sister added chicken thigh and avocado Chimichurri dressing. She said it was tasty. 4. South Beach - 3 Stars craisins, walnuts, green apples, blue cheese, local mesclun, romaine, perfectly paired with balsamic vinaigrette. My wife added chicken and swapped the walnuts for pumpkin seeds. The diced breast chicken was slightly dry and seasoning was lacking. The salad itself was good but wasn't too satisfying. 5. Customized Salad - 3.25 Stars My niece chose to customize her salad bowl. She chose chicken, romaine lettuces, shaved Parmesan cheese, cucumbers, edamame, and other veggie ingredients. She chose the avocado Chimichurri dressing which she liked. NOTE: they offer breakfast items and coffee. Selection of various drinks are from a deli refrigerator and they carry some Kombucha options too. Enjoy!

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.

(For example, a pizza smashing through the door Shining-style on poor Shelley Duvall.) The menu consists of New York style, Detroit style, and Sicilian style pizzas, among a variety of other entree offerings. There aren't any personal size pizzas, just what I'd consider medium (14") and large (18"). My partner and I couldn't agree on toppings, but thankfully AJ's lets you do half and half pizza, as long as they are the same type of pizza (i.e., New York). On my half, I ordered the Supreme New Yorker -- hot calabrese, spicy Italian sausage, classic pepperoni, extra creamy ricotta. What attracted me most to it was the sausage, ricotta, and spiciness. My partner ordered the Tropical Reeves -- pineapple, thick-cut smoked bacon, drizzled with vanilla honey. Mine had more expensive toppings, but we only had to pay 1/2 of each type of pizza we ordered, not the highest price one, so that was a welcome surprise when the bill came. It'll definitely encourage us to come back. The pizza was delicious, and the crust was pretty tasty, too. There's also red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese on the table, and you can ask for oregano as well, to enhance the already great flavor. Service was excellent, too, so I don't really have anything negative to say about our first (and certainly not last) visit to AJ's.

From the moment you walk in, the restaurant stands out with its modern, clean decor and a welcoming atmosphere that feels both cozy and stylish. We were greeted right away and seated immediately, which was a great start. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, helping us feel comfortable with our choices. They offer a wide variety of signature and specialty rolls. We ordered the Citrus Roll, Sea Fusion Roll, and Volcano Roll. Overall, they were good; however, in my opinion, they had a bit too much rice. I personally prefer less rice so I can better enjoy the flavor of the fish, but I understand that this can come down to personal preference. One roll that really stood out to us was the Honey Salmon! It was definitely a highlight of the meal. As an appetizer, we had the fried salmon croquette, which was good and a great way to start. To finish, we ordered the molten lava cake for dessert and it did not disappoint. We cleaned the plate! In terms of pricing, I felt that some of the rolls we ordered (aside from the Honey Salmon) were a bit on the pricier side considering the rice-to-fish ratio. I've had similarly priced sushi at other places with less rice, which better suited my taste. That said, we'd absolutely come back next time we're in Winter Garden. We'd love to try different rolls and explore more of the menu. Maybe the ones we chose just weren't the best fit for our preference
