Used to love this place but the two new girls have absolutely ZERO knowledge of nutrition or calories. Every shake your guessing how many calories are in it now . I asked for a low fat /cal shake and she had no idea kept suggesting pb , meal replacement proteins . I have been visiting this location in Fowler's Grove for years. They are consistently good and almost never have a wait. The staff is friendly and accommodating. My grandson can not have milk protein so this is a good snack option while I am spending time with him at the outdoor mall. My husband and I almost never change our order from the PBJ. It's been a long time favorite. It's made with peanut butter, bananas, strawberries, yogurt, nonfat milk and vanilla. We always order the largest size and swear that we will not finish it but always do. On my last visit I ordered my grandson a simple strawberry, banana smoothie without the yogurt and milk product. In general, I love the smoothies at planet smoothie, but the employee I encountered at this location this evening made this visit a horrible experience. CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE NEEDS HELP. I was the only person during this visit. It was not as though there was a rush to process my transaction. The employee making my smoothie was professional however the young lady, CALI, who was mopping the floor decided to process my transaction from the customer side of the counter. I suppose she attempted to streamline the checkout process to help the young lady who was making my smoothie - but again not sure how it seemed she needed help that required the employee to bend over the counter with an idle mop as I was the only customer in the store. It was also about 8:24pm and the store still had 1.5 hours until close so the issue could not have been that the store was about to close. This was a day I came to just get out of the house enjoy a drive and the stores in the plaza. As I sat in the car I realized I never had a chance to input my number for the first order because CALI decided to complete my transaction while I was still standing at the order counter / before I walked to the register. I figured since I was going in for another smoothie I would just ask when I went back in about the reward points I may have missed. I mentioned to the young lady making my smoothie the first time that I had not given my number the first time and wanted to know whether there was a way for me to input my number (I believe she didn't not understand I meant whether using my old receipt whether there was a way for me to either call customer service or input my number for my reward points) so I ultimately said it's ok I'll just put my number in for this smoothie. She apologized which was more than ok but the associate CALI was very rude and nasty. She deadpanned stared at me while I was talking to her co worked as she stood over an open cash register. It was obvious she wanted to get off of work but her attitude was disgusting, after every sentence she said "have a goodnight" in a very abrasive manner. I asked for her name to which she said CALI I am not sure if I am even spelling it correctly nor do I always leave a comment or complaint but her attitude was very uncalled for and I hope that someone tells her about it. I would never want to put money into this establishment if I came in and had no choice but to be serviced by her. Will be looking for a corporate number/email to also report this. read more

It has a convenient location in this major shopping center. The staff was pleasant, but nothing over the top. They greeted myself and others as we entered. I read the entire menu searching for something to try. There are a lot of options with your typical fruit boosts, etc, etc, for these types of places. I decided on the Rasmanian Devil... and I thought it was okay...very sugary. Just under $5 for the 22oz too. Overall, it was nice, but it won't become a habit of mine. If given the choice here, I'd go to Jamba Juice. Additionally, they seem to have a nice frequent customer program via cell phone number/text messages. Buy 10, get one free. read more

Oh I am just so blessed I stumbled onto this gem of a smoothie place. Strolling around winter garden village tucked in the back corner of the village is this small building attached to what seems like an office building called Planet Smoothie. Now I am quite the smoothie guy and that place has got the hookup with smoothies galore. Now I have been to other smoothie places in the past but this one cuts the cake. Walk in it's a little place similar to any subway chipotle style joint and 100 different smoothie flavors to choose from. There is even a smoothie club you can join to get discounts and after a certain amount of times you get a free one everyone loves free things.
