Stewed pork feet, garlic bok choy, steamed egg
    Kunyan X.

This place was originally located across the street from its current location. Now in this new location next to Istanbul, it added Chinese roast BBQ items in addition to its regular bakery goods and hot foods. Their bakery stuff is pretty average, price is standard (buns are about $1-1.50 each and a pack of buns is about $5). What I like the most is their $6.50 combo rice plate to go. For $6.50, you get to choose any 3 pre-made hot foods of the day (ranging from Garlic Bokchoy, String Beans, Eggplant & Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Steamed Eggs, Stewed Pork Feet, etc. Mostly more traditional homecooked Chinese dishes), all over white rice. They don't skim on the amount of foods, they really pile up everything as much as possible (besides today's Fried Fish lol, 2 pieces). Then they'll ask you if you want the soup of the day that comes with the combo, which is usually a traditional homecooked Chinese soup. Everything all-together weighs around 2lbs, yes that's right! This is THE BEST DEAL you can get for a similar to-go in the neighborhood. Other Chinese places nowadays costs $7-9 for a one dish over rice. I've gotten these combination over rice a few times now, first time wasn't as hot but lately they're definitely well-maintained. I'm not a small eater and this combo rice plate always fill me up. Other things: I'm going to try their roast BBQ items soon. Their other hot dim sum items like rice noodle rolls are pretty okay as well (not as thin as I would like). They also sell some special items like lotus wrapped glutinous rice cake, pan-fried pancake/bread, in addition to the typical drinks like coffee, tea, etc. They might not be as well-verse in English, but everything is labelled in English. It's a little crammed at the entrance area, more room once you get inside towards the back. No indoor or outdoor dining options, cash only.

Radio Bakery is a very popular bakery in Brooklyn. This has been my second time and each time there…read morewas a line outside, however it moves quickly and the space inside is very small. Even though there is a line, you do not feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. On this visit we ordered plain croissant, chocolate croissant-fresh out of the oven, rhubarb croissant, black forest pastry and brown butter corn cake. The chocolate croissant was amazing. It is triple chocolate and cocoa powder is in the dough. It is filled with milk and dark chocolate, so creamy. The plain croissant was flaky and light. The brown butter corn cake was crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and moist. The Black Forest croissant is a seasonal offering. It is made with their Triple Chocolate Croissant filled with chocolate cake and sour cherries and topped with mascarpone cream , Rhubarb & Custard Croissant . It is tart and sweet. The rhubarb is roasted and complimented with sweet vanilla custard. They all were excellent. Each were about $8. Highly recommend and don't let the line deter you .

It's also difficult to see all the items since everyone is packed in a line even when you get into the store. The food itself: - cardamom bun was yummy, a bit too cardamom forward though. 3.5/5 - the pb and J croissant was cool, a bit too rich for my liking but I admire how different it was and I actually had to save this one for the next day and it was still good so 4/5
