I drove past Fresh during construction the past few months, and man am I thrilled it's open now! Stopped in today to a casual, clean and homey atmosphere. The staff has great charisma, and my order came perfectly (even with asking for extras). Ordered organic coffee, great flavor and just bold enough. What I have had here has been good, but I feel the menu is very limited especially for smoothies. It would be nice to have more variety. For a local business, it could be more welcoming. The last time I was here they didn't have any bananas, which is a primary ingredient in many of their items. Today they asked if I'd like to use my $10 rewards on a $5.50 bill. I said yes and that was it for the $10 rewards - - they're gone. That would've been good information to know! I probably would've saved it for next time when I was spending $10 or more. read more

I really enjoyed my salad and juice shot from this establishment however I placed an order for pickup and when I arrived at the restaurant it had been about 30 min since, and my order still wasn't ready. I walked in and there was only one person working that day, seriously? Management needs to hire more staff and not leave one person alone during the lunch rush. In the ten minutes I was inside waiting for my food 3 people walked out, presumably because of the wait. I wanted to love this place. Food was decent. Very refreshing tasting but couldn't finish it in house because of the atmosphere. We seemed as if our presence was annoying the people behind the counter as they were very short with us.The door was open, and because of this there were a lot of flies about, and the food was uncovered which made me nervous. I used to love this place - especially for their Poke bowls. They have really started to skimp on the tuna. There was literally less than 1 ounce of tuna in my bowl. Went in for a kale Caesar salad. Said it had romaine and kale and that was fine. When I got the salad it was only romaine no kale and the romaine was all the part of the head you don't want. I got all the yellow parts and any green part I had was soggy. I ate outside so it's not like it got soggy on the drive home. The shrimp I had on the salad was amazing and the dressing was ok. Not the best house made Caesar I had. I would love to go back and try other things. I really want to love this place. I was really excited when I discovered it! From time to time I housesit for my mom who lives near by. I love trying new cafes.. I'm quite obsessed with lattes and cappuccinos. I gave it 2 stars for their offerings. I love how they offer gluten-free pastries with homemade ingredients. I go there for the coffees and pastries. I've been here a total of 3 times with today being the third. Unfortunately, it was highly disappointing for the second time. I asked the girls at the counter if they could make a cappuccino and she said yes. I ordered an almond milk cappuccino and a gluten free flourless peanut butter cookie. I also bought a home made chocolate peanut butter, which had a big sign saying it was $8.50, but paid $10 plus tax. I was told they the owner probably hanged the price in the computer but not the sign. I paid it because there was nothing the young girl could do and I already swiped my card before realizing it. Anyway, in the car on my long drive home I was very excited for my cappuccino. I took the first sip and burnt my tongue. The drink was EXTREMELY hot. I took the top of to dunk my cookie and it was not a cappuccino or latte. The drink was filled to the rim with what tasted like burnt coffee. The almond milk was coagulated. It tasted really bad. It was so hot that I thought if it cooled of that it was taste better, but it didn't. I'm highly disappointed since I was excited for it. My last latte was a maple latte and didn't like it and thought this would redeem that. I ended up throwing it away after forcing down half of it. The cookie was great! A little sweet for my taste buds, but no other complaints. I think the girls working should be trained a little better and also be educated on the ingredients that's are being sold. If I ever go back, I might stick to a smoothie, which might be their specialty! The place is super cute too! read more

Fresh is a great addition to this area. Everything I have tried there is delicious and made with truly fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and accommodating and being able to order online is a fantastic bonus. They always have the food done on time when I order online. Some yelp reviewers have complained about the prices being too high, but you get what you pay for - this place is not nearly as expensive as other healthy eateries and the ingredients are always fresh and tasty. I ordered ahead of time because I had a previous commitment and when I showed up they were just making the smoothie bowl I ordered and there was one other customer there. I waited there without being helped whatsoever. I also paid 10$ for what looked like a bowl smaller then 8 oz. If I had known the bowl sizes were smaller, I would've ordered the bigger bowl. I had very little time to eat and when I asked for a bag I was handed a bag and not asked if I needed napkins or anything. When Fresh first opened the salads were very good, lots of toppings, etc. Now however, they put like a teaspoon of whatever toppings you would like, throw it in the bowl at the speed of light and toss it around and have your already half a bowl of salad all over the counter and leave you with a quarter full bowl and charge over $10. The beginning was just to pull customers in and now they're being cheap and it's disgusting. Let's not forget to mention the half filled dressing containers. The ice cold lattes when you ask for hot and pay $6 or more for an extra small cup which to them is a "large." I will never go back there. read more

Coming from NYC where there are unlimited 'fresh' options on every corner, I have often found it difficult to find similar places to eat in the area when visiting family. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable and the menu seemed very appealing to me. I got a salad which was very reasonably priced but it was mostly lettuce. The toppings were hard to come by...it literally had 2 cucumber pieces. I'd be willing to pay a little more for my salad to have loaded with goodies. I just left there after ordering 2 salads and 2 juices. There was only one customer other than myself in the store, so I don't understand the feverish rush to throw together 2 salads. It's not like there was a line out the door. The real kicker to this is that just prior to completing the first salad I order, the young girl behind the counter, looked around for an avocado and found one behind her by the juicer, at the same times she noticed that the garbage bag is falling off. She then proceeds to fix the garbage bag and NOT change her gloves after touching it . She then continues to finish making the first and then go on to make the second salad I ordered. It didn't seem like there was any care or attention paid to food safety measures. To boot, while she was mixing the salad a few piece of lettuce fell out on the counter and she proceeded to pick them off the counter and throw them back in the salad, mind you this was over by the registers not even In the usual prep area.
