Review #1,064 Posted on 6.4.26…read more We came here for dessert after dinner on Friday night the 29th. This spot is located on Naglee right next to Kid's Care Dental. I wasn't sure if this was a chain or not, but looks like it's not. It's got its own unique style of stuff and ways of serving ice cream. 100% the way to go is to get the 4 flavor sampler for $9.75, the scoops are basically normal size. My favorite ice cream I tried was the Taro Mochi, it had little chunks/bits of chewy mochi in it, so good. They've got a countertop to sit at with connect 4, tic tac toe, and other games to play. This place is awesome, will be back for sure.

Really loved…read morethis place, my wife and I would drive 25 minutes here and it was my favorite spot in the 209. Everything I tried here was incredible, and my wife loved all the dairy free options. The cotton candy and bubblegum ice creams were some of the best I've had, the cookie butter cream soda float is great and creative, but my favorite are their shakes- same with my wife. I tried white chocolate cookie butter, oreo, and my favorite was chocolate, but they were all really good. Anyway, the last 2 times before my last visit, on their regular shakes, and on the dairy free also, something was off. I've seen other reviews mention this recently. For us, both times they tasted too milky. We hoped it was just a fluke. Our last visit we decided to get ice cream, and it looks like if I go into too much detail they will try and get this removed. I wonder how many other reviews they've done this for? Tthe ice cream was pretty good, but it didn't hit the spot like it usually does. Also dealt with a very rude and unprofessional employee- first time I'd seen her there. All the other employees there have been very friendly and professional. I probably won't be returning, but I think 3 stars is fair. I don't know if they changed their process, made ingredient changes, or if employees aren't making things correctly, but there's been a drop off in quality and customer service.

The team here is always kind and never judges my very specific request for extra nuts (and they're generous about it, too). Is it the most mind-blowing ice cream I've ever had? Probably not. On my first visit, I tried their ensaymadas (oreo and green tea) and a flavor of each of their silvanas (Oreo, Ube, Pistachio, cashew). On our second visit, I got their 6" sansrival cake (half pistachio/half cashew). It's like a bigger version of the silvanas. On our first visit, they had them in the case and said those are pre-ordered and looked so pretty in the case. Good to know for future visits so I called but they did not answer. I know it's bc they were busy w/customers! so sent them an Instagram DM and were able to accommodate my same-day order request. The staff was friendly and welcoming. In my humble opinion, their sandwiches taste much better than most competitor shops and they have a good verity of options to choose from. They do a pretty good job of loading up the sandwich with all the goodness. My go to sandwich is the #19 (Call of Duty). For the more healthy conscious, I highly recommend it on marble rye bread. For the not so health conscious, they also serve ice cream and milk shakes. They offer bottled beverages and a fountain drink station. This location can get pretty busy during the lunch hours. This building is located next to Tracy High and can get crowded with school kids. To mitigate wait times, I highly recommend calling in your order so it is ready upon arrival. If you're into sandwiches, you need to check this place out.

I cannot say enough good things about Christina and Sweet Arts. She created this absolutely…read morebeautiful cake for my wife's baby shower, and I genuinely could not have been happier with how it turned out. I gave Christina our vision--a soft wildflower and rainbow theme for welcoming our baby girl--and she brought it to life beautifully. The pastel rainbow, flowers, butterflies, soft pink and green details, and the "Welcome Baby Girl" lettering all came together perfectly. It was elegant, sweet, and whimsical without being overdone. It honestly became one of the centerpieces of the entire shower, and we received so many compliments on it. Beyond her talent, Christina was just an incredibly wonderful person to work with. I came to her on a relatively quick turnaround and with a budget I needed to stay within. She listened to me, worked with me, and was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. There was never any pressure or difficulty--just kindness, cooperation, and a genuine desire to make sure we were happy. What impressed me most was how humble she was. Christina is clearly very talented, but she carries herself with such kindness and sincerity. You can tell she cares about her customers and understands that these cakes are attached to important moments in people's lives. This one certainly was. We are preparing to welcome our baby girl, and this shower meant a great deal to our family. Christina created something that fit that moment perfectly and will now be part of our memories and pictures from that day forever. I sincerely hope Sweet Arts continues to grow and thrive because Christina deserves it. When you find a small business owner who combines genuine talent with this level of kindness, patience, flexibility, and care, you want to see them succeed. If you're in Tracy or the surrounding area and need a cake for a special occasion, give Christina at Sweet Arts an opportunity. I would recommend her without hesitation. Thank you, Christina, for helping make such an important day for our family even more beautiful.

Updating the pictures for full transparency…read more I wanted to update my original post with additional pictures so customers can clearly see what they could potentially receive when purchasing this cake. When we first sliced the cake, the center was visibly dark, as shown in the photos. My wife paid $120 for this very small cake, and for most people, $120 is not an insignificant amount of money. My intention is not to bash the baker or the business. I am simply sharing my experience and the actual condition of the cake we received so that other customers can make an informed decision. What has been most disappointing is how the situation has been handled. In my interactions with the owner, I have not felt that responsibility was taken for my concerns, nor was I offered a resolution to make the situation right. Instead, the responses have felt defensive. As a customer, I believe concerns like this deserve to be acknowledged. Sometimes a sincere apology and a willingness to address the customer's experience can go a long way. Again, I am sharing the updated photos for transparency. People can look at the pictures, read about my experience, and make their own decision.

When we arrived around 1:00pm, there were only a couple of people there, yet the place was messy and had a strong unpleasant odor throughout the facility (like armpit). To make matters worse, just a couple of minutes after we walked in, the employee started cleaning while visibly rolling her eyes, which didn't make us feel very welcome. It's a shame because the venue really does have great potential, but the lack of cleanliness, organization, and customer service made it a big letdown. I hope they improve these areas because the space itself is lovely.
