I got two glazed donuts and two chocolate glaze donuts. They charge a credit card fee here but it's not a lot. They also have limited seating area here as well. This is a great cute small Donut shop. Their Thai tea is delicious and the boba makes it even better. My kids love coming here for their donuts. Popped in for a quick snack and needed a little sugar rush. I feel like I've been here many years ago. Right when I walked in, I was greeted by a sweet lady behind the counter. Fun story, she asked me what my name was and said that she remembered me from a different place... Anyways, it was just after 12:30 and they still had a good selections of sweets. I didn't get much as I just wanted donut holes for a simple sweet snack. They were fresh which was really nice. Bite size for an easy pop in mouth treat. The place isn't that big but does have a good amount of seating inside. It's part of a strip mall so there's plenty of parking available. Come just for their cronut these things are to die for! This is a family run and owned donut shop. That's been there for 26 years and they are 24 hours so they have fresh donuts all the time which is awesome. The guy behind the counter was very nice. In my search for a good donut shop in Granada Hills I visited this store. Pros: The store is small but reasonably clean. The lady at the counter was nice and efficient. They also seemed to have a good variety of donuts. The donuts did not have an old burnt oil odor which is an issue in a lot of donut shops. Cons: I bought sugar donuts. They were a bit on the dry side. The sugar on them was too much and not fine enough. The donuts themselves were also sweeter than normal. It's all a matter of taste though. Always the same lady that gives me a hard time. I have been coming here many times and when I order a ham and cheese croissant and ask for it to be warmed up, she tells me "it's already warm". I asked her to still warm it up but she refuses. Recently I came back to order a small decaf coffee for a friend, the coffee in the thermal was warm. I came here when the doughnut shop across the street was severely understaffed and overflowing with customers. Boy am I glad I did! The service was excellent from the moment I walked in. Even though there was a good amount of people inside (it was the Saturday morning rush), they immediately greeted me and asked me how they could help me. I told them my son (4) was going to pick out a dozen doughnuts and though he was indecisive, they smiled & helped him along the whole way. I really think he felt special getting to pick out the family breakfast and the employees here were a huge part of that. The doughnuts were all fresh tasting and soft. The glazes were perfect and just all around, a wonderful sweet treat. The prices were on par with other shops. Much cheaper than the big national chain stores. Yet another reason to shop small! Bit of a late post. I was in search of an apple fritter to enjoy on Fat Tuesday morning. I like to order apple fritters when I am out of town. I rarely get them local since I thought I have tried them all. I stopped by this location as I remember it previously was a Winchell's Shop when I was a kid in the 70-80's. It was late in the morning and thought I might strike out but I lucked out. I decided to go big and ordered the largest size (they did have a small fritter option) with a Quik chocolate milk. It was delicious. It had the perfect amount of crispy crunch, chopped apple, dough and glaze. It was a tad bit heavy on the cinnamon but I love cinnamon so it didn't bother me. I was so large I couldn't finish it and saved the rest to have the next day for breakfast. Shop was very bring and clean. The only staff member there greeted me and was very friendly. I greeted the owner's wife, so I know she knew I was there. But when it was my turn to be served, they helped somebody else who came in AFTER I did. At that point, I had no idea how many more people who came in after me were going to be served before me, so I cut my losses and left. I decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint it actually over exceeded my expectations. All the racks were filled with fresh variety donuts. We got about half a dozen donuts and one cronut. The cronut we learned has been 6 months in the making so we were excited to try it and wow the first bite was amazing you can tell they perfected the cronut.
