They were short staffed so while waiting for our table we were told to wait in our car. The bar was closed. Weird. Couldn't even sit there? The food was fine. Steaks were average. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. The service overall was very slow, it did take a while for water to come out, and then for our drinks to come. It seemed like somewhat of a busy night, but the service was still extremely slow. For drinks, we ordered the strawberry lemon drop, and the champagne sangria. We were told the strawberry lemon drop was sweet and that's why I ordered it. It was the exact opposite. So bitter that I had to ask to switch it because that's how bitter it was. The champagne sangria was just okay. For appetizers, we ordered the buffalo chicken spring rolls. These were OVERLY fried. It felt like I was eating fried dough with some bits of chicken. Flavor was okay, but I definitely wouldn't order these again. We also ordered a Cesar salad, and a greens salad. These were both very delicious. The Cesar salad was very good and you can request it with our without the anchovies on top. We ordered a lobster bisque soup as well which was good. For dinner, we ordered the Twin Filet Medallions. I ordered mine medium. The issue with this was that one of the filets was cooked medium, and one was cooked medium rare. The one that was cooked medium was absolutely delicious, the one that was medium rare was not as good. I was disappointed with this because I only enjoyed 1 out 2 of the filet. This dish came with a side of mashed potatoes and string beans. The plate itself was HOT, however the temperature of the mashed potatoes was warm on the outside, and then the inside was cold. For desserts, we ordered the crème brûlée, the chocolate cake, and the cheesecake. The crème brûlée was by far the best dessert. The top was nice and crispy and the flavor was delicious. The chocolate cake was huge, and also really good. The cheesecake I would not recommend because if it wasn't for the peach compote on top, it would have no flavor. It was very very bland. Overall, I would return to this restaurant and probably try different menu options. The service and consistency of the food lacked, but I would love to give it another try.

I live in a food Mecca city for the past 12 years. So when I come home to visit, the food scene…read morehere hurts my soul. Until I found this place. This was the first menu that truly excited me to try. This spot raises the bar for ohio food. The southern/ Cajun flair in the menu made my heart flutter. The Cajun shrimp and crawdad omelet was amazing but the bacon and gouda grits stole the show. I could eat my body weight in that dish. My only complaint for food is, I would have loved a louisiana hot sauce or some vinegar based hot sauce to go with it. Not gonna lie, our server definitely forgot about us, a few times but.... the food made up for it.

I recently had breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Streetsboro, and while the experience was…read morenot a disaster, it did feel like an expensive lesson in managing expectations. I was genuinely excited to find a place nearby serving eggs Benedict, since that is apparently now considered a rare regional specialty. The eggs Benedict itself was satisfying, and the decaf coffee was actually very good. It stayed hot, which was impressive because warmth was not exactly the theme of the rest of the experience. The custom mug was a nice touch, the silverware was clean, and my water glass was crystal clear, so points for clearing the very basic hurdles of public dining. That said, the details were where things started to drift. I asked whether I could get butter on the side for my English muffin and was told yes. When the food arrived, the butter had apparently chosen a different path in life. I selected the potatoes as my side, and they were dry and cold, which was a nice reminder that not all breakfast foods dream of being eaten. I also asked for cream with my decaf coffee and was given those little plastic peel-top cups of palm-oil creamer like the kind sitting beside a gas station coffee urn. It would have been helpful to know that beforehand, just so I could adjust my standards in advance. The service was probably the most disappointing part. My server never introduced herself, never said good morning, never welcomed me, and never asked how I was doing. The exchange had all the warmth and personality of renewing a vehicle registration. The first words out of her mouth were asking what I wanted to drink. Then whether I was ready to order. Then whether I was ready for the bill. Then she answered my question about whether I paid there or at the front. Finally, after the check, I did get a "have a good day," which was nice in the same way a closing credit is technically part of the movie. As an added bit of breakfast theater, I was seated near the kitchen entrance, while the table across the aisle featured what I mentally dubbed the Desperate Housewives of Streetsboro, carrying on a lively discussion about construction, a new kitchen, and the hand towels they were all apparently having to use in the meantime. It was less background ambience and more accidental community theater. For $21.87 for eggs Benedict, potatoes, and a decaf coffee, I expected a breakfast experience and not an exercise in emotional self-service. There were good elements here, but the missing butter, cold potatoes, fake creamer, and indifferent service made the whole thing feel more like a nicely plated inconvenience than a place I would be eager to revisit.

People already eating and drinking. Deceivingly large. Walk in and bar is to your right. To the left are tables and such. We went to the bar. The bar had a good amount of people. We ended up close to the windows on the other side. It was fine. Bartender came right over. They have a good selection of alcohol. Flavored vodka's. I got salted Carmel with coke. Delish! Kathy got cucumber vodka and sprite. Very refreshing. We got menus and asked bartender to recommend some items. He said wings good, burgers good, chicken and waffles and Mac and cheese. Funny we didn't get any of those. Kathy got the brisket dinner. I got the rueben with a salad. Both good. And prices were good too. They came out in about 10 mins. Salad was good. The Rueben was hot . I ate half. Good amount of corned beef not too skimpy. Kathy's. Brisket looked amazing. And it was good. Brisket tender with side of baked potato and broccoli. BBQ sauce on the side. And a loaf of bread. All for $12.99. She ate half and took home too. It was good and filling. Bartender was nice and informative. Place had a good mix of people. Looks like a nice hang out. Prices were good. Drinks good. Can't complain. I'd definitely go back and try something else.
