Yes, it was busy and a bit noisy when we arrived, but everyone was so friendly and accommodating, that it all ended up an extremely enjoyable evening. Chicken Parm and Eggplant Parm, both served with penne, filled the plates, with enough for at least two more meals! The Caesar Salad with a large meatball was a solid recommendation from Kevin-you have GOT to try it! There was a "dinner for 2" special, which included salads, bread, and a full bottle of wine. Although we initially didn't order from the special menu, our server suggested we take a look at it, and adjusted our order, which saved us money (and got us a bottle of cab)! We went there for the Monday dinner special. The table was on the small side but we worked it out. We were asked for beverages and appetizers as our water was poured. We didn't order any. Our server, Stacey (I think) was very knowledgeable about the specials and menu overall. I ordered the chicken marsala and my wife ordered the chicken parm. The dinner came with a choice of 2 salads, Cesar or garden, plus a bottle of house wine of white, Cabernet, or Merlot. I ordered the Merlot. We both got the garden salads with house dressing which was a vinaigrette and tasty. The meals came out and both of us were pleased with the choices. The Monday special had about 12 choices on it including pork, fish and chicken. I would go back and recommend it. read more

Favorite local restaurant with great food and even better service. Everything is terrific from the burger to the chicken dishes, the seafood and they always offer creative, delicious specials. Food is simply delicious. 4 of us went Friday night for dinner. We all ordered a different dish and none were disappointed. I had the short rib dish and it was so good. I never had it prepared as a pasta dish but I will say I will order it again. Other meals were linguini in clam sauce with clams atop...awesome, then there was the scrod..cooked perfectly, my only suggestion on that dish is do something with the giant ball of rice..not sure where they were going with that...lastly the tuna dish which was awesome which came with a REAL WASABI by that I mean if you don't realize this isn't a cheap wasabi it will make your eyes pop out...good but sinus clearing spice...lol The dipping sauce for the bread is so damn good and the calamari appetizer with balsamic sauce should be made as a meal...yummy, yummy!!! read more

Such a great spot. We've been to the East Greenwich location a few times but we always love to come to this location. Perfect for when you can't decide exactly what you want. Great pasta selection, steaks, seafood, flatbread pizzas, chicken and eggplant parm. Homemade risotto is amazing. Even the deserts. Nightly specials too. Tonight I had grilled chicken with prosciutto, mozzarella, pesto, homemade mashed potatoes and fresh grilled vegetables. The staff is amazing. Our favorites waitress is Ashley. Not just because she is always super attentive and has a great personality, but her recommendations are always perfect. She knows everything about the menu and she (and the cooks) can custom tailor anything to your liking. So rare to find a restaurant these days that is so accommodating to individual tastes. And when we want to try something new Ashley never disappoints with a suggestion. Portions are excellent and the quality of food is as well. Everything is fresh. Drinks are great and if you sit at one of the high-tops in the bar area hopefully you get Cameron the bartender. He's also great for dinner suggestions but he's endlessly entertaining and makes perfect drinks. Make sure you make a reservation. Not a huge place and it's very popular. Sadly the Monday 2 for $40 deal was a major letdown. The salads came with barely no dressing on them. The parm tasted like it had been microwaved (still steaming long into the meal and so soggy) and the risotto was over cooked. Three spoonfuls in and I couldn't eat another bite due to how gummy it was. The waitress did what she could but she looked be one of the few working so we missed out a good experience on that level, as well. We were quite surprised to see how they just wiped the stuff off the table (bread crumbs and food pieces) right onto the floor. We saw two lumps of red sauce linger on the main floor walkway and people ended up stepping on them. And with black floor runners, the bread crumbs all over them reminded me of the floors of a bar (or one of those places that serves unhusked peanuts). I think they should work up a system to at least try to catch the larger crumbs and not just have them fall to the floor. read more

Seriously not that good of a restaurant. We decided to try Fresco for Brunch today and we should of walked out when we walked in and the place was empty! The servers although attentive were not really warm and welcoming. After looking over the menu we decided on the Avocado Toast, Texas Toast, and a side of bacon. As empty as the restaurant was it took an unusually long time to get our food. The Avocado Toast was not seasoned very well and it seemed to be missing something as it was bland. The Texas Toast was over cooked to the point where the edges were burnt and eggs were dry. The home-fries were also over cooked with burnt pieces scattered throughout. The one highlight was the bacon as it was cooked perfectly. Expensive for the low quality food served. Do not recommend. read more

I would give them 4 stars for the ambience. They did a nice job updating it. The bartender was very nice too, but I was not impressed with the food. I cook for a business and I found lots of issues with the choices I picked. Maybe, they had a bad night, it happens. I ordered the Brussels sprouts. Less is more! The cheese wasn't needed, the balsamic was over reduced. Then, the "tossed lasagna". Bad idea! The noodles stuck together is layered of 3 making it very tough to eat. The sauce was so sweet, pure sugar. Bolognese needs to have salty and savory notes. The ricotta pie or cheesecake looked and tasted like store bought. It should be tender and fluffy, not dense. The menu choices are ok, but you need to fix the cooking skills in the back of the house. read more

In my opinion, the food was terrible and way overpriced. The wait staff was rude towards me and they were clueless as to how to properly serve their customers that I saw. The place was wicked small. Felt very cramped. The seating was very uncomfortable. Their so called valet parking was a joke (and personally I think one of them dinged my car but never admitted it, because the small ding wasn't on my car before I went there that's for damn sure). I would never go back here again, especially where there are more reasonably priced restaurants (even in the local area) that have very respectful employees towards their customers (and certainly won't ding your car) all in my opinion. read more

We were so looking forward to trying Fresco's. Had reservations and we were placed at a table near the door allowing all the cold air to hit us every time it the door opened. We asked to be moved, we were told others have reservations, and with a little resistance they did tell us to grab our own waters and moved us. Mind you not another patron sat at that table after we moved!!! then the meal.. oh my god I ordered the fish with jasmine rice and fresh veggies.. the fish stunk so bad it's surprising that they even let it out of the kitchen!! Come on they couldn't smell that!! I am bumming!! such a let down!! Extremely disappointed!! The kicker is they didn't even blink an eye!! We went here last night. Went under the impression it should be decent place to eat. Was pleasantly surprised! Definitely the best calamari we have eaten in a long time. The main course I had Seafood Cavatelli, my wife had the eggplant and chicken parmigiana, it was fantastic. If you are in hurry, not the place to go, we were not. The server had us, a party of about 8 and two other parties come in the same time and all things considered she held her own for sure. Bar is a little slow getting your drinks out, but bar was full and so was the restaurant. Make a reservation in advance well worth it we walked in and sat right down. Get the calamari! This place is great and you'll leave very satisfied, I haven't had anything I didn't like. I especially liked the calamari if you couldn't tell, because for once it's perfectly cooked; breading isn't falling off and soggy and still has a nice crunch to it. What a perfect experience! Stopped in for the Monday night deal with my husband, very busy! We got a seat in the dinning room where Sarah our server greeted us- she was so knowledgeable about the menu and ways the food was prepared. She answered all the questions we had and although they were very busy, did it with ease and still made time to chat with us a little! I dined here this evening and what a great treat to myself it was!!! I had wanted clams and sausage fra diavlo and even though it wasn't on the menu, Carlos the chef made it for me and it really was out of this world. The clams alone are to die for. I didn't care about the little belly I have going on, I ate the whole thing which is unusual since pasta can fill me up quick (the dish was served over linguine). What a great way to celebrate our anniversary! We have been to the East Greenwich Fresco and loved it. The West Warwick one is closer to home. The crusty Italian bread with olive oil/cheese dip was a great way to start our meal. Wine list was comprehensive and reasonable. We chose a lovely Tuscan red. We shared fried calamari with lemon garlic sauce for an appetizer. Excellent and well cooked. DH had seafood cavatelli that he is still raving about. I had grilled salmon with grill squash and risotto with peas. Having a chef son makes us fairly fussy about our food. Fresco met our expectations and went beyond. Our waitress was also the manager and she is phenomenal. Really knows her stuff and is professional and courteous. This will become our go to eatery since it's in our neighborhood. read more

We were a party of 4 on a Friday night. The atmosphere is cozy with interesting artwork on the walls. A beautiful stone fireplace adds warmth. I ordered the NY Strip steak which was grilled MR to perfection. The zucchini squash red bell pepper medley was firm and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes were a little salty for my liking. Tried the newest Fresco located on Cowesett Ave., West Warwick, and had a great night overall. It was raining and the valet was super quick and pleasant, we sat at the bar, friendly crowd, the bartender was super nice and quick to greet even though she was busy, totally on the ball. We always order a grilled Pizza when we go to the Fresco in East Greenwich; so we stared with one and it was the best one hands down; nice and thin, crispy and super flavorful. While enjoying our pizza the manager came over to welcomed and thanked us for coming; which was a refreshing experience. Also, asked us before leaving if we enjoyed everything.
