This is the second amazing dining experience I've had the pleasure of partaking in at Fresco Grill with the amazing Leone & team! Savory, exquisite, phenomenal... I don't have the adjectives to precisely convey how stunningly delicious the food was at this establishment, really. Add in the ambiance, 'family feel' service & a pristinely clean premises, and you have quite possibly one of the best dining experiences of my life. Get there, you'll be glad you did!

This restaurant is definitely worthy of a second 5 star review! Went to happy hour on a Saturday which is 1-6 all weekend. Sat at the bar and Shelby was our bartender. She was awesome! Sitting at the bar is my preference and theirs has a relaxing ambiance. I ordered a dirty martini with blue cheese olive and they stuff the olives themselves. They are excellent! You can really taste the difference. The house wines were smooth and easy to drink as well. My friend got the happy hour ravioli di capra. The rosey cream sauce was the perfect pairing and the bread soaked it up nicely. I got the fettuccine alfredo and wow ...it was the best I've had at a restaurant. Decadent yet not heavy. Loaded with chicken and with some added parm on top it was the perfect dish. This is my new favorite spot and I plan to keep working my way through the menus. Another shout out to Shelby for taking care of the entire restaurant in addition to the bar area. You crushed it! See you next time!

Me and my family absolutely love this place... first... the food... excellent. House made pasta. Wow! Second... the service... second to none. Truly you feel like you are the only table in the restaurant. Lastly... ambiance... it's great. A huge glass wall that gives you a view of all the hard work behind the scenes. Oh, and the owner is amazing. He comes to all the tables and is just a great person with a love for Italian food. 100% recommend.

Amazing place. The food was delicious even before taking a bite thanks to the presentation. Great environment, location and vibes. But mainly, the owner Leone is the real perk - he makes sure that everything is perfect and you are feeling as at home. Very kind, professional and awesome.

Osso Buco

I genuinely wanted to love this place, but it fell short of my expectations. Really nice looking place with a great atmosphere and nice vibe, however the food served here seemed to be pre-made Costco/Sysco level fare. My wife ordered the halibut special which was supposed to be pan-seared. It was not, it seemed to be poached. It was most likely something that came from a bag. I ordered the Osso Buco special with ravioli, which seemed to be the very same type of Osso Buco that you can get from Costco/Sysco/RD that is meant to bd reheated in a bag. It was cold in the middle, which for me is an absolute no-go. They removed it from our bill thankfully. Everything else was quite nice including calamari appetizer, and our drinks were good. Ultimately, this could be a good spot to get drinks, appetizers and simple pasta dishes, however, if you're looking for actual cuisine this will be unsatisfactory for you, especially at the prices they're asking.

Alex our server very knowledgeable and friendly. Great service. We ate lunch here on the way to Carlsbad. House made shrimp bisque amazing. Pasta carbonara and fettuccine Alfredo both incredible. They make the pasta here. Cappuccino, crème Brulee, and tiramisu perfection. Retro atmosphere and music all made for a great experience. The Chef / Owner is doing an amazing job here. Wish there was a 10 star rating!!

Located in such a cute shopping center in Bonsall and decided to check it out. The restaurant itself is super inviting. I went with a couple friends and we were greeted right away and seated at a table. They served bread that was served hot with olive oil and vinegar. We decided to start with one of their appetizers from their specials. These were probably the best artichokes I ever have and hope they put this on their menu as a permanent item! They were so flavorful and delicious. For my main, I ordered the fettuccine which was good! They had so many different things I wanted to ordered and opted for the fettuccine. I'm not sure I'd order it again but I did try a little of their carbonara and it was really good!

Fresco Grill in Bonsall is a convenient Italian spot right off the 76 on your way to Fallbrook, with reasonable prices and a really lovely server, Sandy. She checked in on us just the right amount, skillfully managed our large group, and even found thoughtful wine substitutions when our first choice was sold out, such a pro and genuinely friendly. As for the food, it was pretty average overall. Most of us got lukewarm pasta dishes, which was a bummer, though my son's pizza came out piping hot (win!). My eggplant parmigiana was a bit chewy, so it felt like the recipes might need a little refresh. The place definitely has potential, and with a few tweaks, it could be a real local gem.

We were hungry for Italian food and found Fresco Grill. We were seated immediately upon arriving without reservations. Since it was getting late, we ordered something light. I had a chicken Salad, spaghetti, and meatballs. The Chicken Salad was fresh and crunchy, and the Chicken was juicy. The spaghetti had a strong Fennel spice taste but was tasty. Overall, the Food was good, the service was good, and the environment was nice with good people inside. Plenty of parking

Parking at lunch on a Saturday is plentiful. It was empty when we arrived close to 130 pm. We were seated immediately, and we chose to sit in the patio. It was a very comfortable vibe. The seat was embellished with lots of cushions, a very comfortable seat. We ordered lychee Verde and a cadillac margarita. The drinks were very good. My lychee Verde initially looked like a margarita and I was worried there would be no lychee taste, but it did. It was a nice subtle play on my tongue. It was good. My hubby enjoyed his cadilac margarita. Bread was freshly baked and delicious. We ordered lobster ravioli for me and a seafood linguini for him. My lobster ravioli was tasty and delicious. The sauce was creamy yet light. My husband's linguini was delicious. The seafood was fresh and very delicately cooked without drying out any of the ingredients. Delicious!!! We also ordered an additional basket of bread Just fyi, second basket of bread has an additional cost of 5 usd per basket. Our server checked on us multiple times. Food was delicious and we Will definitely be back

Complimentary bread.... Yummy. $5 for each additional refill.

If you don't live in Fallbrook or Bonsall you need to make the drive to this place today....or add this to your "must try" list, please. They are located in side of the River Village Plaza toward the back near the Ballet Studio and Peking Wok (another must add restaurant). This post is for the two times we have been here in the last 3 weeks. Service is outstanding from the host, busser, server, waiter, waitress....they have a great staff. Good job on hiring great employees. That is key to a great business. Both days we came here were on a Thursday evening...not sure how that happened. We came around 5:30pm and we were quickly sat. Place does get busy after 6 we noticed, so we came at a good time. First time around we ordered linguine, pizza and a drink. Second time we ordered TWO orders of their short rib pasta special, lasagna ($26) and pizza ($18) (we brought our daughter along the second time). Obviously you can tell we really like the short rib pasta special ($26) because we ordered TWO. That sauce on there is to die for. Pizzas of any kind here is very tasty. You get table side freshly grated cheese to whatever dishes you would like. You get one basket of bread for the table...according to the menu it says extra bread baskets after is a charge of $5. But one basket was plenty for us because then we wouldn't be able to our lovely meal. Not really their fault, but parking can be a pain at times. We will be back soon!

We also ordered the crispy brussels sprouts. They were probably the best brussels sprouts I've ever had and I loved the pork belly in it and pickled red onion on top. Mangia e Bevi's pizze scored a hit with all 4 of us, including my celiac DIL who must eat gluten free. My pistachio pesto pizza with mortadella and arugula was the real deal. It transported me back to Naples with the first bite. We appreciate the special measures they take for those with celiac by cleaning the pizza oven thoroughly to remove any traces of gluten before baking the GF pizza. The GF pasta is cooked in separate water from the regular in order to prevent cross contamination. I sampled her GF Margherita pizza, and found it delicious. A crispy exterior on the crust cradling a soft, pillowy interior contrasted beautifully with the fresh tomato sauce and cheese on the pie. One person went rogue by ordering a pasta with bolognese. Yummy. Mangia e Bevi's is an especially rich, meaty version of the sauce. Quite delicious.

In my opinion m, these sides do not match the overall esthetic of the restaurant. The sides should be way better! Although they were good we wouldn't spend the money again. We also got bread, it wasn't good, it was just too much of a different variety and they should give free bread and make you pay for that kind of bread basket. The wedge salad was amazing!!!
