So happy to see this Frenchy's on Veterans Memorial open just a couple of years ago! They have a drive-through that moves very quickly. Their staff and customer service are friendly. The fried chicken is always steaming hot, crunchy, flavorful, and delicious! Would definitely recommend this location!!

3 piece tender 1 side? Super hot and fresh

This location never fails me!! Customer service is always great. I wish I could of got the lady name that checked me out today! She had me laughing so much. She needs a raise! The food is always fresh no matter what you order! I also ordered two peach cobblers! I literally pulled over to eat my food! But I had to wait like fifteen minutes because it was so hot and fresh! No complaints there! I definitely recommend this location. I did not eat inside I don't think the inside is open now. The parking lot can get a little packed but still easy to navigate around. The time waiting for food is not bad at all. Will be back next Sunday.

I had a craving for fried chicken while working in Houston, so I looked for a local spot to grab dinner. I can tell you that without a doubt, this is some of the BEST fried chicken I have had in years! Fried to golden brown perfection, each piece was crispy and perfectly seasoned. I ordered dirty rice as well as red beans and rice for the sides. Both had great flavor, and portion sizes were perfect. I highly recommend checking out any of their locations if you are in the area.

3 piece white combo with mash potatoes so good !!

Came around 3:40 today ordered the three piece combo , my bf & I and also dined in. The Latina younger girl & the older Latina lady were nice and gave good customer service! It's nice to come and dine in at " fast food" joints where the people are actually nice! Also food was super good and fresh . The chicken was so hot I could barely pick it apart without burning myself which is nice! I hate when the food is just sitting there and cold. Will be back !

Frenchy's fried chicken is among the best in Houston! I think their sides are just okay, but for the price it is a great meal.

Most definitely five star review here. Food: the first meal I got here was a three piece wing with mashed potatoes, cornbread and a drink and let me tell you it was top-notch and very good. The chicken was season to perfection, very flavorful, and also very big pieces of white meat. I was very happy with the overall mill. The mashed potatoes and gravy or exceptionally well. The cornbread was Just as tasty. Everything here was amazing. I will definitely come back. The prices are very fair too. They make everything fresh, they don't have hot sauce however. Luckily I had a hot sauce at the house it wasn't a big deal. I would suggest they start carrying hot sauce though. As most people like to eat fried chicken with hot sauce. Service: tip notch! They have a young man by the name of Ayvionn working the drive through and cash register and let me tell you the owners of this location should be very proud. This young man is doing a great job! He has a great winning Attitude and will succeed in life. You can always tell when people have a heart of service and this young man is doing great! Kudos to him and his top notch service. He will succeed at whatever he does! I will definitely keep coming back to this location. Great good. Great service. Great value. Texas legend of Chicken.

    Closes @ 9pm not 10 as advertised!!!!

Per the website this place is open until 10pm on Saturday. My husband calls @ 9:30pm to see if they were open as I was a few minutes away. The lady says yes we are open until til 10. I arrived at 9:40pm pull up to the drive thru and the male states that they no longer have any chicken or sides just desserts and drinks! He said that they stop making food 1 hour before they close and just serve drinks for the last hour! I said why does it not say that on the website, google, or yelp. He said he doesn't think that the management has fixed it!!!

    Slaughtering baby chickens smh
    Radley B.

I know inflation has hit every industry very hard. However, the pitiful and mediocre food that these restaurants have the audacity to serve us is unacceptable. Frenchy's has the nerve to be selling baby chick pieces of chicken for $12.99 + tax. For 5 pcs of unacceptable unflavored food that my dog didn't even want. The sad part is, it's not just this restaurant, but most have lost respect for us patrons and don't take pride in what they are serving to the public. From this day on, I am taking a stand. Protesting against giving my hard earned money to an industry that does not care about the quality of what they serve. I will eat at home from now on, that's for sure!

I am thank for the manger at this Frenchys being a thinker and very professional. He understands this business and respects the customers that come in. I am a week late with this review but I wanted to still get it in. I love the food here and hope this location will last much loo then the other two that were in our area that did not last. When they take their time they deliver flavor that unique to them. This food can not be cooked fast. It takes time so don't visit if you are in a rush. Give them time to make it right.

The chicken was delicious. Lots of flavor. Well seasoned fried chicken. I see why this is Beyoncé's favorite place!

    Mia G.

So the chicken is delicious but do not Uber eats from here . It's just a nightmare . I ordered 3wings 1 leg 1 thigh a pepper and a side of collard greens . I got French fries two thighs and no collard greens which is the entire reason I ordered from them . My Uber driver also said the chicken wasn't ready when she arrived and had to wait an extra 10 minutes for it to be done so I'm still not sure how it was so catastrophically wrong

A effing toenail that was in my red beans and rice.

The place was like walking into the 50's, with the old school metal tables and ample linoleum. I LOVE Louisiana cooking, and it couldn't have been more authentic. The only problem I had with my shrimp gumbo is the bowl was too small (actually a filling portion) and loaded with succulent, tender shrimp. Yummmmm! The cornbread was sublime and dipping it in the gumbo was killer! John had a Po Boy and said it was heavenly. The fries were obviously fresh cut and perfect. Time to Appetizers: 20 Minutes Time to Crawfish: 25 Minutes It's a solid branch from the main location in Bellaire, but they're missing some things. For example, the Bellaire location has the new Viet-Cajun flavor of sauce that hasn't debuted here yet (though you can DIY a mix). (Review is for July 2026 if they've updated since then) We got here at 6:05PM and got seated with no issues. Ordered the following: Combo #1 with extra corn and potatoes (3.5/5): Crawfish isn't in season, so don't be surprised at my low rating. It's still great and flavorful all around. Garlic Noodles with Shrimp (4/5): Still incredibly rich and buttery and garlicy and great for a palate cleanser. I'd skip the shrimp; you get eight pieces for $10 extra and that's not really worth it. Crawfish Beignets (4.5/5): Still a fantastic appetizer. Comes out hot, crispy, buttery, and is a really indulgence. 1 lb. Little Neck Clams (4.5/5): I liked these more than the crawfish tbh. It really does depend on what's in season. Very easy to eat, very flavorful. Service was generally good but our server seemed slammed; it took a long time to get water refills and to place extra orders (we got a second order of beignets to-go). Market price for crawfish is high and they're not in season, so don't be afraid to ask. The Combo #1 in July 2026 was $22. Overall, I'll probably be back during crawfish season especially because it's more convenient for me than the Bellaire location, but the Bellaire location has it beat for general atmosphere after the remodeling and much better options for mixes there.

Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind.
