The guy that did mine didn't use the hot stones that are part of the basic pedicure and I had to tell him I wanted a base coat because he was gong to skip that and start with the polish right away... I am gonna have to rate this place 3 stars. Sorry... I didnt really enjoy my pedicure as much as i had liked. The gentleman doing it said he had 2 years experience. I guess I was expecting a scrub to be used and a longer massage but there was Not. Just a quick soak of the feet and light scrub on my heals. He did do a good job at getting my cuticles cleaned so that's why I went up an extra star. A manicure and pedicure for $25! Well what did I expect lol! Being a manicurist myself I just expected the same pampering that I would be sure to give my clients. Oh well, next time I'll have to stick to doing it myself. In the future I'll be sure to spend money on a full body massage instead. Hehe! Hope this review helps someone out. read more

Been coming to this place over 10 plus years and I love how they do my nails!!! I am super picky and they know it, they take there time most of the times and do a great job... Every single time I get my nails done, people complement the work done! ~~LISA~~ is the BEST!!!! Nails and toes!!! She does a wonderful job on long and short nails! This place is amazing. I asked them to take their time and they sure did. It is the Saturday before Mother's Day and my husband has to work tomorrow on Mother's Day si it was my only time to get pampered. See I'm a stay home mom and online student, so when I came here they literally pampered me. If I wasn't buying pull-ups, diapers, and wipes, I would have tipped my pedi n refill nail stylist $50 each. I've waited to write my review until I had a consistent good experience. My nail professional is Lisa and I think she is absolutely awesome. I've been coming here for over 5 months now every other week and I haven't been disappointed once. I know! I'm amazed! First, Lisa is very patient with meI love to think I like to try different colors until I see them on a fingernail and then I say"Oh my, I don't like that! Just clear please". Lisa doesn't ever seem to mind as long as I'm happy. Very sweet lady and I'm greeted warmly by the other nail professionals as well. Nice and fast. I've come here twice in the last month or so to get my nails done and they've come out great! I would recommend Steve for acrylic manicures, takes his time and makes sure everything's just right and that you like it, but everyone's nice and welcoming and it is really adorable for the quality also! Terrible customer service! I was not greeted, then after being there for 10mins someone yelled Pick your color, so I go to pick a color and all the polishes looked 10+ years old! I didn't even find a color I could use. So I sat there for a total of 45 minutes and just gave up and walked out! Some lady then came running after me yelling 'I do your nail come back' I'm sorry Now you can do my nails?! How come she couldn't the 45mins I was in there while she was chatting doing nothing. Very inconsistent. No one does anything the same. Today they scrubbed my feet so hard they actually are still pink hours later and have MORE rough spots than when I came in. Not happy at all. Not sanitary either. The gal stopped with me and then put someone's shoes on and came back and touched my feet! Gross. They were all caught up in conversation and ignored guests. Lisa is my go-to girl for a pedicure at French Nails. I am not a big fan of the service or the quality of work that is performed by the other nail techs, but Lisa is amazing. She is always polite, always tries to have a fun conversation with me, and loves to do art on my toenails. I have gotten a couple manicures from her and they are great quality. read more

I went in to get the pedicure and manicure and was helped by Heidi. I have Real bad ingrown Nail problem and she did a great job taking care of it without hurting me. She took her time and made sure I didn't feel hurt and she told me what she was doing. I really feel that she cares for her clients. I highly recommend going to French Nails. DO NOT EVER GO TO FRENCH NAILS ON COFFEE RD!!! I've gone to them off and on for the last 4 years but never was 100% pleased with the results. But this last time was horrendous! I went in on Saturday, 9/23, for a mani-pedi because I was going on vacation the next day. While I was there, the woman used sea salt scrub on a pumice stone and rubbed the side of my big toe. I told her that it hurt. After rinsing it off, it was bleeding. She used something that she said would "sterilize" it which I think was alcohol because it burned like hell! She then proceeded to stick the same foot in the hot paraffin wax! That hurt so bad it brought tears to my eyes. When she finished, I asked her if she was going to give me a discount since she hurt me. She said, " I no understand discount" but gave me $5 off. By Monday, it looked very very infected! After my second visit to my doctor on this last Monday, I took the receipts for my co-pays and the receipt for the antibiotics and also asked for my money back on the mani pedi which was $36. I showed the owner, Steve, the picture I took on the 25th and he said that looks like an old wound and then he accused me of coming in with it. I told him all I want is to be reimbursed $97 and he got out his wallet and told me I would have to sign something and I said no, I'm not signing anything because it's not healed yet. He then closed his wallet and told me to call his insurance. The owner Steve is a greedy little fucking asshole! read more

Went in for a $25 mani pedi.. Half way through my mani I decided not to do a pedi, Steve was not happy about this. He complained when he saw he had to take off my previous acrylic. By the time he was about to start the paint (French tip) I noticed none of my nails were filed evenly, I asked him to fix them, he filed 2 with hesitation. When I was done I just wanted to get out of there, very unhappy with the service I just received, the lack of shape to my nails and the excess paint all over my fingers. They were so bad I had to go home and remove the polish and file them myself before an interview (which is why I went in the first place, to look presentable for interview) My friend talked me into going right back in and demanding my money back. We did, I showed him my nails and how crappy they looked, he said it must have been me that messed them up... Seriously? This wasn't 5 minutes after he finished. He raised his voice to me, while one of his ladies walked up and offered to fix them AT TOP PRICE. I said no, but Steve did a terrible job. I will never be back (this was my first time) and will advise everyone I know to never go there either. Very upset with the way the whole thing went. Shittiest manicure I've ever had and that's saying A LOT. If you're looking for a GREAT nail salon, go to Nails By Steven on Standiford and Prescott.
