Get ready to be served up a frustration hamburger along with a thick disappointment shake. Service failure at all levels. After coordinating an appointment with Fremont Ford, the service department we drive our RV down from Walnut Creek to have a repair made. We explain the size of the vehicle what needs to happen with the areas and the insurance that nothing will be a problem. I think the day off of work and my wife follows me down since they will have to keep the vehicle for a few days. Upon arrival the service tech was clearly overwhelmed five or six people waiting in line I've already seen one individual leave. Tells me, we're sorry we can't take your RV it's too big. We took the day off drove all the way down from Walnut Creek, and cleaned out everything in the RV so be ready to go. Fremont Ford was a Huge Disappointment. I was out of town in my old hometown, Fremont and had a few extra days to get my truck worked on. I needed an oil change and my check engine light had been on and off. They got me in for an oil change but didn't have time for the engine light. BUT they found some issues with my sway bar so i didn't want to mess with something happening on the road so decided to get those issues fixed. It took them a little while and barely got the truck back in time for business. When I got home I took it to my normal dealer for the engine light. They said the bushings were wrong on the sway bar. I said that's messed up I just had them replaced by Fremont Ford. My dealer suggested calling them so the two dealerships could figure out how to get it repaired properly. Apparently Fremont ordered the wrong part or couldn't get the right part in time and literally put the wrong bushings on my truck. Are you kidding me. Did you just scam the hell out of me? So long story getting short. I had to pay about $135 locally to get the right parts installed. So I paid twice for the work, thanks, no thanks to Fremont Ford. I am so dumbfounded by that type of treatment I can't even come up with snarky comments or truthfully descriptive insults for Fremont Ford. Despicable read more

Letting the public know how disappointed I am with Fremont Ford. The car under warranty still I had the lumbar on the driver side seat fixed repaired brand new parts. The mechanics took the seat out and put it back and scratched the interior of my car and other areas and paint I'm very disappointed I can't believe that they didn't cover the area so they would not damage people's property that was in great shape. They need to be more careful and do the job with diligence and do things right, now I'm having to prove this case to get things right. pretty sad. [Service Department Review] Stopped by to drop off our Ford Flex which had a check engine light on. Service advisor said it would take them 3 days just to diagnose the problem. I don't care how busy your service department is; if it takes 3 days just to diagnose a problem (let alone fix it) you have a major problem managing the efficiency of your service department. If you can't manage the operation of a service department well enough to get someone's vehicle diagnosed in 24 hours, you probably aren't doing a great job at repairing people's vehicles either. As expensive as dealers are for repairing cars, you would think this is a problem that management would want solved. I would highly recommend looking for an alternative mechanic rather than leaving your car at this service department. read more

The manager is very receptive to feedback, but the check in staff, and technicians leave a lot to be desired from a service standpoint. Over the course of 3 months, my brake pads gained tread. Which after further probing they alleged they incorrectly noted their tread from a prior trip. Who knows what to believe, I just don't believe that my vehicle (Ford pickup) can be properly serviced here without significant wastes of time and money. Avoid if you can. read more

It was a pleasure buying a car from Robert at Fremont Ford. During the test drive, he talked me through all the features and made sure I had plenty of time to get a feel for the car. He didn't rush through the test drive like other dealerships I visited. After the drive, he wasn't pushy at all and gave me his honest opinion about things like maintenance, etc. He waited patiently when I had to spend some time deciding on what I wanted. Eventually, when it came to the negotiating part of the process, we had plenty of back and forth and he was patient in getting to a price I was finally happy with. Heres a simple reason why I'm leaving a 1 star..and this review is solely on customer service from the billing dept and the result of receiving my title (pink slip) Bought a Black 2013 Honda Accord Sport Manual with 42k mileage from this place on 5/7/19. I purchased it out right cash, the finance dept confirmed that i will be receiving the tags, plates first in about 3 weeks..and title between 4-6 weeks .. Not sure why it takes them so long, since i buy used cars all the time in CA, and usually the dealers work with DMV directly, you receive title in 2 weeks..but they work with a third party to process the tags and title..which delays the process for another 2-3 weeks. I dont mind waiting but i followed up the tags and title status by calling their billing dept...and spoke with Crystal or Krystal...who was annoyed by my request of follow up and trying to explain her my situation. she even told me that all dealers take 4-6 weeks for a customer to receive the title...she said the DMVs are always delayed and late..and she told me that i knew nothing about how their prpcess worked..whuch put me to the insult and shame...Krystal should learn how to appreciate the customers...that should be her first new training at work... So this girl Krystal gave me a horrible attitude and made me feel very very upset..i stopped calling her due to the fact that she hated helping me... So after 4 weeks..i finally received my title and tags...and guess what...... They processed my mileage incorrectly (put 71000 miles instead of 41000) and now i have a car with 42000 miles odometer that prints 71000 miles on my pink slip.. GREAT JOB FREMONT FORD... I called them and they said they will fix it..but i will have to wait another 4-6 weeks to receive tHE CORRECT TITLE from the DMV... They seemed really OKAY about it..even the finance guy who called me didnt know what pink slip contains...it always shows the odomoter of the purchase... and he told me that he never knew that...my goodness...for gods sake.. please triple check your work Fremont Ford... I hope they can resolve this crazy issue soon. Im trying to sell the car due to my financial situation, but i cannot sell it since the title doesnt match the car's odometer...again...people... I'm not inept; I work on my own cars, it's just that I'm here on business and my tools are at home 600+ miles away. With that, I raised the concern of a wheel being out of balance (vibration at high speeds and a slight noise), and the SA repeatedly told me that it's included. It was neither notated on the service request, nor was it on the list of things customarily done in a 120K mi service (the closest things were tire rotation and inpsection), and it still had those symptoms when I drove it after; I had to take it to America's Tire to have it balanced and it was fixed. Also, the SA told me that he had to "finish up some work this morning", but the car seemed to have been done since the day before since according to dash cam footage and timestamps, my car hasn't been moved since the evening before and still had condensation on the windshield when I picked it up. Last but not least, you'd think that spending almost $2K would mean I'd get a car wash and another SA told me it was included, but it wasn't washed and I actually had to ask for one. read more

I just can't stop talking to my friends and family members about how wonderful Fremont Ford is. To me cars are important and there is no better dinner conversation than vehicles. I remember I was last here in the year 2000 looking to buy my first car - a Taurus. One lonely bare bones 1999 gold Taurus - new but one year old - in the old body style that looked so out of place next to the futuristic, sharp chiseled 2000 models with the new bigger and more perky derrières and honeycomb grill. I've always had a thing for the post buttlift 4th gen Taurii. A week ago I went to look at inventory and AJ helped me. He really went the whole nine yards to find what I wanted and quickly with a great amount of intuition. We exhausted all options for vehicles on the lot. Huge assortment of lease returns and the best variety of new cars anywhere. I really did want a car with all the options and I might add that the '17 model Fusions have come a long way from those 2000 Taurus mentioned above. The safety features: cars automatically put themselves in park if you forget, a suite of drivers assistance, pothole mitigation and on and on. Not to talk about available luxury features: diamond stitched seating areas and even a full leather dashboard. Its incredible... these are options and features usually only available in cars at the $100,000 price point. I'm so glad that Ford has come such a long way and now leads the pack way ahead of VW and Lexus in terms of what you get for the money. The new fully loaded Fusion platinum makes all the top luxury brands of today look like they come out of the stone age. Especially Lexus.... I think it took us Americans 20 years to figure out that was a scam. Take a Camry, stick a "L" on the grill and charge $3000 more. Pricing on cars is also incredible - the '17s did have deep discounts but the certified pre owned were even a better deal - with the extended warranty included beats other dealers hands down in the price - especially if you look at everything included. Took me a long time to find my perfect car and just came in today to get it looked over. I feel more confident that recalls were checked and that the expert mechanics brought everything to where its supposed to be. The head guy in the service department, Stephen, is a very informative and affable guy and I look forward to having him take care of my vehicle over the next few years - bring your car to him and its in good hands. My Fusion is a keeper and with all the technology it came equipped with it will age gracefully - and with proper care from the Ford experts it will last a long time. Manager and salesman have been very useful and helpful with the purchase and trade in of my vehicle. I was offered a great trade in value and they worked with me to get payments lower. The only reason I am leaving a 3* review is that there was a typo on the contract that when I brought attention to it the finance manager implied it was my fault for the typo (despite having timestamped emails with the right amount listed). I don't believe that the typo was malicious or anything. Just a simple mistake. Unfortunately, that typo has resulted in a delay of my trade in vehicle from being paid off. I have been in contact with the dealership and they told me "not to worry" and that they'd "take care of it" but my credit union still has not received the check for the total amount needed to pay off my grade in vehicle. It has been over a month and at this point I am genuinely uncertain as to if they are working to fix it or not as I have not heard anything back about fixing the typo and getting the payout check sent to my credit union. read more
