First and foremost, I don't typically write reviews but because it was such a frustrating experience I had to make others aware who are looking to purchase a vehicle. For context, I live in Los Angeles, and was committed to making the appropriate accommodations to work through this deal the right way. My brother called to express our serious interest, our already approved financing and ready to negotiate a deal before making the drive over to ensure neither party wasted time. He connected with the Manager, Alvardo, they negotiated a price on 3/18, we were emailed an itemized list of the agreed upon price (car history etc.) and we planned on driving out there today, 3/19. When he called last night, to re-confirm today's trip, he was told by Gabby the car was no longer available. We happened to look at the site today and noticed it was still showing as available but noticed it was listed 1K higher. I called today to confirm if the car was available, spoke to Gabby and was told that it was. So I was confused on what the miss was. My brother called minutes later, also spoke to Gabby to address the inconsistency, and then he was told that the car was no longer available. My issue is how unprofessional this is. It's either available or it's not, respectfully, pick a lane. A car isn't a small purchase and this is just truly unprofessional. came here to possibly buy a car and then got hit with various add ons that i didnt want/agree to. to make an annoyingly long story short the dealer gave us a price of about $33,500 and after negotiating the manager came and said they couldnt do the price we wanted so they claimed to give us the "manager's discount" and gave us a price of $33,700 which was more than what the original price was. we called off the deal and it was overall not a nice experience. i understand that it is sales but it felt a but dehumanizing how much they tried to get us to spend more on things i clearly stated i didn't want/need. i was also told that they were not going to run my credit until i signed papers (claimed it will be a soft inquiry and wont affect my score) but a few weeks later i get a notification from my bank that my credit has been checked and my score has been lowered by 11 points. that was the most annoying part because now my score is lowered and i didnt even get a car out of it read more

Have my car here twice. 1st Time the service guy hid my car key in cabinet and they couldn't find where it is have to wait over an hour after the dealer was closed 2nd time charged me for 200$ for a visual inspection "diagnostic fee" that said my headlight didn't turn on cause it short circuit but refuse to cover it under 30k miles warranty cause . Not even mad about the fee but.... On the second occasion they send out my receipt and prepaid link to the wrong email twice even tho I called them to spelled it out. Have to call again to pay over the phone and make sure they didn't locked my key up again Said that they will re-charge another diagnostic fee on top of the repair fee for the light if I want it repair at the dealer. I was looking for a very specific model that's not very common, and they had exactly what I was looking for. I actually rode the Amtrak train down from Sacramento to get the car so I didn't bother any of my friends to give me a ride down there (I didn't admit to the salesman that I took the train - haha - pro tip). Today, I called an hour before I went to this dealership and spoke with Gabi to confirm that the 2019 Toyota Sienna is still available. She did confirmed that it's still available and asked me what time I would be getting there to see it. I told her about an hour since I was coming from Clovis. When I got there, I asked for Gabi and she came out but referred us to another salesman. I thought the Van would be ready for me to see. The salesman went inside the office and came back about 15 minutes later with another guy who introduced himself as the Manager. He informed me that the Van was sold the night before. The easiest way to put it is that my expectations were not met AT ALL, and the situation continues to be problematic. The car (Toyota Camry ESX) is great, but it is my first Toyota and my last due to the experience. I have leased cars for decades, I like to drive new cars often (about every 3 years), therefore I am a great customer. I always go back to the dealerships and sales people I know and have built relationships with. I have dealt with great dealerships in the past 20+ years and this experience reminded me of why I stick to the dealerships I know are customer focused. So many things shady and unprofessional about this dealership. The buying experience was very poor - it was clear that the salesperson Dan was only interested in selling the car. All niceties were gone when we stated what we would pay to lease the car. At one point I felt that he went beyond pushy sales person and yelled at my husband who just sat there and chuckled. This is far from our first rodeo. When we finally came to an agreement, we were left for at least an hour and half after being told we would be in finance within 30 minutes with no knowledge of the reason for the delay. Sales person? Gone. We were getting ready to leave when a different sales person told us we were next. When we got to finance, the experience continued to be bad with an extremely rude finance person. Dan had never even checked or filled us in on our wait presumably because he had "closed the deal in his mind". When we picked up the car two days later I was told that a package that was clearly stated as included during the sale as added on by the dealership had not been "accounted for" (I had to ask about it - they were just not going to say anything and when I did, I was told, "I didn't account for that) but I am pretty sure we paid for it. This kind of stuff puts the "bad" in car sales person. Almost a week later we are still being bugged for information that has already been sent to them, which was only requested days after the sale. Horrible customer service. I consider this the type of dealership where you sign on the line and they are done..... I have steered clear of these types of dealerships for decades and this one tops the list of bad news. I will also mention that taking children to this dealership is sketchy - during out 90 minute wait for finance we listened to sales employees swearing and at one point what seemed to be wrestling in an extremely unprofessional show of disregard for customers. Yes, I expect a different level of service than this. Customers keep the doors open and the cars leaving the lot. We have choices when it comes to buying cars and for us, those choices include buying from dealerships that know how to treat their customers. If they didn't like our bottom line deal, we offered to walk out multiple times. It just felt sketchy as soon as the salesperson realized we were firm and 100% willing to walk out. We had been to at least ten other various car dealerships and we did not need a new car, not to mention that there were two salespeople ready to sign a deal on a Subaru Outback or a Volkswagen Atlas. Lesson for us, walk out when it feels shady. SUMMARY: Presale communication - multiple instances of we will call you back with no call backs Sales - pretty sure we paid for stuff we were told was included (window tinting), to recoup sales persons commission. Post sale - disorganized, want us to provide insurance which we have already done at the time of sale as well as emailed proof of coverage for the Camry - despite having 30 days to do this as the car is automatically covered by USAA FOR 30 days Overall - I will never go back there. I hope that corporate takes the review sent to them seriously Advice: if you expect to be treated with honesty and communication that is with efficient and respectful you might want to look around. The car great, the experience NOT EVEN CLOSE. Editing on December 22 to add pricing info: original lease payment was quoted at over $700 a month with ~4K down for the Camry ESX. We refused to pay that. We came up and settled at $465. They made money. the point is don't settle for inflated prices - they are making money or they wouldn't have let it go at the price they did. The last negotiation we had was over $5. And make sure you get what they tell you is included. If not, walk out. My two cent.... read more

It is very stressful to buy a car but it is more hurtful being manipulated and being lied to. On 12/06/25 I went to Freeway Toyota dealer,in Handord, Alex sold bz4x 2024 to me. We were there for over 4 hours and he told to ring the bell louder after he sold it to me. When I contacted him 3 wks later and he said he couldn't not sell the car to me because it was under recall. I knew he lied already because I already checked there was no recall. He didn't even have the strength to let us know until we called him. Elias provided prompt, excellent service and went above and beyond to resolve a minor issue with the console. He and his team deserve high praise for their efforts. They had to order a couple parts that they didn't have in stock. I was planning to install these parts myself but the more I thought about it the more I was going to have them install them. Honestly, my experience here was so disappointing, especially with Alejandro, one of the floor sales reps. The whole vibe felt super greedy, like they cared way more about squeezing money out of me than actually helping. Alejandro didn't walk me through the contract the way he should have -- he skipped over parts that later turned into surprise charges. They even upcharged me on things they first claimed were "free," which is so shady. And don't even get me started on the warranties... they push them so hard, but they're overpriced and totally not worth it.
