Technician Noah did a fantastic job explaining the service repairs needed for my son's car. My son is in the Navy and is stationed close by this Firestone location. He had to drop off his car on a Sunday to get vehicle issues addressed before his deployment. The manager went above and beyond to allow me to pay for my son's repairs over the phone so that he would have one less expense to worry about. Extremely disappointed this place tried to upsell me on my vehicle, said I needed an oil change yet both the sticker from the oil change I had a week ago, not to mention the oil life sensor inside my vehicle showed it was good. Clearly shows I didn't need one. Tried to claim I needed so many parts replaced to fix an issue. Totaling a couple thousand dollars. A week later I take it to another place and they explain that it's just one part that needs to be replaced. Just do honest business Hanford is full of hard working people that need their vehicles to get to work and take care of their kids. This is a hot and miss and I mean they can be good and bad. They do a decent job but the wait time can extreme. I had a 10am appointment and the first thing they said was it was going to be over 2 hours wait. So that tells me they are overwhelmed with work. Brake job got done and I didn't get my car back till almost 5pm. It was a good job but at 400 labor and 300 for parts. There you go! read more

It was worth the 20 minute drive to get things done right. I was able to get all 4 tires installed and I even saved a little more money coming here rather the Visalia store. I would give this place a "0" if that were an option. I took the car in because the A/C was not working. They worked on it and it appeared to be fixed, but that only lasted a few days. I took it back and they told me that it was only a "temporary" fix. That's for sure! I didn't ask for a temporary fix, nor did I expect the A/C to only work a few days for over $400. Be aware! They might be able to mount new tires for you, but don't go to them expecting to find a mechanic. read more

Went to another place just to get my tires rotated. Came there with no problems and then out of nowhere my car won't start and my battery is the problem. I've replaced my battery less than three years ago so I felt like I needed a second opinion. Since I am a female and some do get conned to pay for things they really didn't need. Came in and Charles was an excellent help. He didn't disregard my weird request and even though they were busy and booked, he took some time to check it for me to see what they could do. Long story short, I ended up needing a new battery, he helped me get the one I need and was able to switch out my battery. He was willing to do it himself since the other mechanics were booked but one of the mechanics was able to squeeze me in and get it done real quick. It was a long shot but I'm glad I did and had a good outcome to know my car is taken care of and we're not all out here getting conned. Bonus: a customer was about to leave dissatisfied because of the wait time for his service due to short staff, Charles made sure he wasn't leaving with a bad experience and opted to comp his next oil change. My Amazing wife got her a credit card and boy did our car need service...we did the 4 tire change and come to find out the tires were wrong.....wife pointed it out and got us a FREE OIL CHANGE Memo and Stevie helped us for the rest of our concerns and didnt stop there. I usually go to another shop but they are closed on Saturdays. So decided to go to Firestone since they were open. Ended up spending $3000 to have repairs done on daughter's car while she was home for a couple days. When she returned to her home in North California the same issue started occurring again. She took it to Firestone up there since it was under warranty and they said none of the work was done or done correctly. Don't take your car to Hanford location. I should have read the Yelp reviews first. Luckily, the location up North took care of it and returned a portion of money spent, though it was minimal. Had an appointment scheduled for an oil change. When we made the appointment we gave them the make, model, and year. The guy said no problem and said it would be $56.17 for the oil change when we asked for the price. Sounded great. Fast forward to today when it was time for the appointment. Go to check in and drop off the Jeep and the guy now informs us it's going to be $141 for JUST THE OIL CHANGE. I can go to an actual Jeep dealership for that price. Someone in there getting a Lexus oil change for $70 but my basic Jeep will be $141 all of sudden This place is a joke. read more

I went to get a new set of tires and since i was already there i figured i would do an oil change. Went home and noticed there was an oil leak buildup on my floors in my garage. I ran it to see where it was leaking and it was just spilling out of my oil filter. I removed it and it appeared it was not even changed. The o ring for the filter was not replaced. It was noticeable that it was the old one. So im having to redo my oil change. I go to remove the oil plug and they over tightened it. I cant break it loose. There was just a number of problems after taking it there for an oil change. Theres a reason why i do my own services because of places like these. Luckily im able to do my own services but theres other people that do depend on these places to get it done, but not here. I do not recommend this place at all. First and last time. Terrible. I took my Sorento there that had only had for a few days as it was bought used through another company. There was a very loud noise when driving the car. I asked the gentleman working if he and his techs heard it and he said yes. He then tries telling me that they can't find anything that would cause the noise. He tells me everything mechanical is good and says it's most likely cosmetic which they don't do. So he tells me he is going to refer me someone where else. I called the warranty company to find out what they had gotten from Firestone and they told me that what was noted is that the noise was only heard when going 80 so could not be duplicated. However that noise could be heard going 15-20 and I told him that! Plus he said they heard the noise but all of the sudden they couldn't duplicate the sound because they had to go 80?!! No that was a lie! All the had to do was take it for a test drive and they would hear it. I took it to big brand tires in Hanford and they heard the noise IMMEDIATELY. They were also able to diagnose it within the first 5-10 minutes. It was the transmission. Big brand doesn't do transmission so had to take to Kia and they also heard the noise immediately and agreed it was the transmission. So I don't know what happened. The guys at Firestone I guess didn't want to work alot are completely incompetent... or maybe they saw since I'm a woman and I spent my time there chasing my toddler around that I'm just going to take whatever they say and just be like "okay". I'm glad I took it somewhere else because who knows how much worse it would be had I believed it was just cosmetic. Terrible experience. Never again going there. read more

Prices are VERY high. The parts i needed were only 160 so it's absolutely ridiculous that Labor costs 485$. The man who first helped me at the front counter gave me MAJOR attitude about my appointment time ( I was there at the exact time I said I would be) before even asking my name. There was only 2 other cars in the garage, they were NOT busy. As someone who works in customer service, it's UNACCEPTABLE to treat people like that ESPECIALLY when you're asking them for that insane amount of money. Took my buddy's car in to get an oil change, tires rotated and new wipers (it was only three dollars for installation so I said whatever) the car has been sitting for a couple weeks because he is a truck driver and never home. Today while he was driving it the skid plate was scraping the floor and sparking everywhere because the person that did the last oil change only put 2 bolts back in it. I do not trust this location and will not go back to Firestone. I paid up to $2000 in one month going to them to fix an oil leak. I had to return to a mechanic a month later. They told me I needed a be dip stick for my oil because it broke in half into the tank? It was not like that when I took it because I constantly checked my oil. They charged me $50. I have been a customer here for over 10 years. I have a truck I rarely drive and the tires that the dealer sold on it started going bad so we bought 2 then a few months later bought 2 more. $1500 in tires not to mention the 4 other vehicles they have been taking care of over the years. I got a flat on my truck take the tire in am told a 4-5 hour wait. I leave the tire to be fixed and go back hours later to be told the tire is not fixable (had 3 holes) and I need a new. Tire that had only been driven on for 5000 miles. I said they should have a warrenty. They tell me no warrant for these tires. The other two tires had the warrenty?? So I take the tire and leave go to Billingsly in lemoore and they fix the tire (it had one hole the other 2 didn't go all the way through) spent $25 and they did it in 29 min read more

Every time we have car issues, we always bring it to this place because their service was fast but unfortunately today, they had me waiting for 4 long hours just for tire patch. They keep telling me, you'll be next for the next 4 hours. If my husband didn't call them, they won't even start fixing the tire. The guy who check me out did not even bother apologizing for the delay nor even give me options on what to do with my tire. He was so unprofessional and the guy who checked me out was really rude. I showed up on 16DEC18 at 1100 for a tire rotation and oil change. I was told it would be 2 hours so I left to eat and shop and came back at 1300 to see my vehicle wasn't even in a stall. 1 hour later my vehicle was in. Vehicle out of the stall by 1630. It is now 1657 and I've been standing in line and the gentleman in front keeps helping other costumers walking in after me. At least have the courtesy to help a customer who has been waiting patiently in the lobby for almost 4 hours. I've spent 6 hours total here for basic maintenance and that's completely unacceptable. I would give them 0 stars if I could. The morning before I had to go work, I noticed my left rear tire was looking flat so I checked it out and saw there was a nail in there. I dropped it off at Firestone at 7:30am because I had work from 8am-4pm and I work close by so it was convenient. I walked over at 4pm to get my truck because I thought it would have been done by now because they've had it for 8 hours. I went to the Exchange Car shop on NASL and they told me I didn't need an alignment and everything looked good. I brought my 2006 BMW X3 in for repair after hitting a speed bump at night that I did not see going 30 mph. I needed new front struts and strut mounts. The mechanic, Christian, did an amazing job quickly and honestly. He is also a really nice guy and was a pleasure to work with. The customer service is outstanding. I worked with Vanessa, Philip, McGill, and Georgia over a three day period of time (the actual work only took them one and a half days). They were all extremely helpful, polite, professional, honest, and followed through with everything that they said. I am extremely impressed with all of them for their first class customer service. I worked with Vanessa the most and she was an angel while helping me. In all, they did a great job promptly, at a fair price, with integrity, and great customer service and I will gladly give them all of my business in the future. This was my first time working with them and I am glad that I did and I am completely satisfied with their service. By the way, I did take it across the parking lot to Les Schwab next door for comparison and they wanted $400 more for the same job, FYI. read more

They were very courteous from the first day I walked in to price tires to the day I had the tires installed. I went to several tire shops to price tires. Some of the other tire shops talked down to me in a manner that was ridiculous. My car came with run flats on it from the factory and I have only used run flat tires on my car. I actually had one shop tell me my car did not have run flats on it according to the computer. I had another shop tell me I should just put regular tires on my car. They couldn't do it but may I could install them myself. At Firestone they not only found the tires I wanted they informed me about an upcoming sale to help reduce my final cost. I will definitely be back for other services as needed for my car and truck. read more

This guys are amazing I was up in Hanford to visit family and the place I got my oil change from messed up causing tons of oil to spray out under my hood and possibly cause damage to the engine! Firestone cleaned it up and help prevent any further damage. They were a huge help and I got home safe! I went here to get a tune up. I get the car Back and now it overheats after 30 minutes. I took it back and the lady told me the guy always does a half way job. I guess this happens a lot? Anyway, the guy was able to improve it. But not fix what he had broken. I was told on a Sunday that my alignment would take 1-3 hours which in the first place is a big window, secondly they closed the shop without calling me to know where in the process my car was at. I called multiple times and no one answered, its now Monday and i do not have my car for work or any normal activities that i plan to do.
