Was supposed to come pick up my vehicle this morning at 8 but never showed up. They don't answer when calling them either smh. I would never recommend them! read more

Worst towing company! My apartment complex towed my car because I accidentally parked in the parking lot next to my own. This towing company charged me $335 for a couple of hours. I literally picked it up that same day but they considered it "after hours". There was a $55 storage fee but my car was still on the tow truck when I got there. I called the manager 'DANNY' and he said they cant take that charge off. I explained how stressed out this has made me and how my job gave me termination letter and if he can please help reduce the cost, he said "its not my problem" and hung up on me. People here are so disrespectful! read more

Their prices fluctuate, never consistent. I was told for a tow for 3 miles it would be $145. I checked my account after they charged me and the $145 became $235??? No communication, when you ask questions the guy on the phone got really hostile. Driver didn't speak English so I don't even know if he understood what he was typing in on the payment process. Will never go through this company again. What a bunch of punk ass scammers read more

Nick helped sort out my situation, my vehicle got stolen, real big time today. He was not only patient to listen to every word I spoke about where my vehicle was possibly located but also was very flexible to respond to the sensitive, confrontational situation he must have dealt with the suspect who stole my car when my car was found. Thank you so much for your great care. read more

They charged my dad who is older $210 cash to tow his car to his house ( less than 10 miles) and then again $310 to get his car to a mechanic. no receipts were given. I just called the guy, owner, Nick and he cursed me in the worst way - this is just insane that this company is still in business! They are absolute scammers. read more

Got best prices great communication and got the tow done quick and easy from la mesa to escobdido thanks

Highly Recommend Excellent friendly & fast service showed up in 20 minutes my lifted truck was not an issue, they tow all kinds of vehicles they care about their clients that are on the side of the road stranded After waiting for AAA they showed up with a flat bed and were unable to tow my truck because it was lifted when they had towed in the past AAA membership is no good for towing trucks read more

Great communication, on time, and very quick. Nick did a good job at getting my Nissan to the dealership for repair on time for my appointment. read more

Contacted early in the day and the vehicle never got picked up that day. The owner led us to believe the vehicle would get picked up. The end of the day came, the business closed and the vehicle never got towed. The next day the owner made it clear he don't need to meet his commitments for the day if he made enough money for the day. The next day I easily found someone to pick it up within an hour and will stay away from freeway towing (lower case) in the future. You money is only important if he is hungry that day. read more

This company is amazing! Today my Jeep died on me so I needed to tow it to my mechanic. I called around and requested quotes on Yelp. Nawar messaged me back and was at my location in 15 mins! Freeway Towing - Towing Near Me

I am so grateful for the fast and amazing service I received from Freeway Towing. We ran into a flat tire on our boat trailer on a busy holiday weekend, and Nick was so kind to drive all the way to Point Loma to fix it. Thank you so much! read more

This company is a big rip off, they come up with frivolous cost, saying after hours when my car was picked up at 1:30 in the afternoon. $150 per day storage, 2 separate hook up fees because they switched storage yards $2000.00 for 1 week. Never heard of such cost. Don't use them!!! Crooks. 1 star is to many. read more

I received a quote from him using the yelp tool, he had the most competitive offer. He was able to make the tow quick and there were no problems. I was happy with how responsive he was and the whole process was quick and easy. I would recommend working with Freeway towing. If I had another tow I would reach out to them first. read more

The company is great and very efficient! My motorcycle broke down and after calling two other tow company's, Freeway Towing was the fastest and the best price! For only 95$ They came and loaded up my bike and unloaded it with no issues. I can't remember his name, but he was very polite and his work was quality. I will certainly be using them in my next unfortunate event! read more

Thank you Nick for putting my battery in so quick. I will definitely call you again for service.

I will never ever recommend this company for a tow, I called to ask a question and some asshole just said no and hung up while I was asking another question! Called back 2 times just for him to answer the phone and hang up. Asshole!! Never using or recommending this company. And his name is Danny. read more

My Nissan Altima Hybrid died on the freeway this towing service came and was very professional fast and courteous. I do not know how this company has so many 5 star reviews. Waited for them to show up and after the allotted 60-90 min eta they cancel. No reason, no call, no nothing. I called my insurance to check the status and they ended up telling me of the cancellation. Good thing I wasn't on the side of the road or else I'd be toast. If you're dealing with people, give them the courtesy of a call or something to let them know you won't be on your way. Everyone else must've been the luckiest people on the planet to get service from them. Unfortunately, I'm not that lucky it seems. Terrible. read more

After a fiasco with farmers roadside assistance I called Freeway a company I found on Yelp. They arrived in 20 minutes, loaded the vehicle and towed it to Bob Stahl Chevrolet. Friendly driver. It cost $91 if anyone is interested in that. read more

Scammer & defrauder who used aggressive behaviors to elicit immediate payment. 'Charged $350 for 10-minute service to jump start my battery on the rooftop of a downtown San Diego parking garage. I made it very clear I was only calling because I was in immediate need of long battery cables. I stated that I was not ready for a tow because no service centers were open at that early hour to secure a mechanic (On an early Saturday morning after 2 hours of sleep and 2 days of international flights, I hoped the jump start would get me home, which was about 90 miles away). Mike, the owner of Freeway Towing, responded in a standard, red Tacoma flatbed pickup truck. He charged me $375 -citing $125 for the 10- minute jump start PLUS an additional $150 "parking garage service fee". He said that's because they also bring a tow truck in case the battery doesn't start. I told him I was willing to pay his $125 jump start fee, but unwilling to pay the additional $150. I never asked for a tow. He stepped forward very close to my face and told me to shut off my car if I wasn't going to pay the full amount. I backed away from him, got into my car and locked the door, partially rolling up my window. He moved his truck behind my vehicle to block me in. I initiated cell-phone recording and again, explained that I will pay the $125. He told me to call the police. Although I doubt the police would have responded (let alone allowed Mike to continue his tactics of intimidation), I was already nearing inability to make the drive home. I also knew response would not be a police priority, possibly taking hours. I elected to pay the outrageous $275 fee. As I'm an over 50-year old female, I kept my door locked and window mainly rolled up for safety while paying him via credit card. I hope this review saves someone else this experience. read more

My car broke down on the side of the freeway. Freeway towing help me out tremendously. Only charged me $100. Thank God for their help.

I called for a quote on a tow today and told them how my car does not start and it is a salvage tow. They told me it was a $95 base fee with an additional $9 per mile. I was okay with the quote which was why I chose them after shopping around. However, after they towed it, they told me the total was 607.26 and told me it was an accident tow and it was $350 for the base price plus other costs for labor and special parts which was not at all the price I was quoted. Right after my accident, the police called another tow company and they only charged me $260 for an emergency tow! I feel like I was totally ripped off and they did not tell me any of the additional costs over the phone. read more

Nick himself came and changed our car battery, was very nice and wore a mask. Price was reasonable and he did it in 2 min!! He didn't even judge me when I came out with my crazy hair. I would highly recommend them for all others! It is a charge if you use your credit card, $3 per $100, but it wasn't a big deal for me. The convenience and quickness of the service was what mattered most to me. I would 100% call them again! read more

I was doing some off-roading and got stuck in a wash. I had called a few other companies who didn't even give me the time of day because of where I was stuck. I needed my car towed but the first company I called told me I was out of luck as they were all booked. I called a second company and was told it would be a minimum of three hours, but could be longer. I couldn't wait that long. I called Freeway Towing and explained my situation, Nick said it was no problem and he would dispatch someone right away. I reminded him it was in East County and kind of in the middle of nowhere. Again Nick said no problem. The driver arrived fairly soon, was friendly and had everything hooked up in no time. Having a vehicle towed is stressful for me. But Nick and the driver were both friendly and courteous and made the experience totally stress free. They are at the top of my list from now on. I'm glad I got the best!!!! Thank you Nick! read more
