Second time I was prepared in case it was the battery that needed replacing. Was forced to use the company by my insurance as my inoperable car was in San Diego and I was in Los Angeles. Was quoted one price, confirmed by driver and agreed upon. When it came time for payment they added an over 20% fee that we had not agreed upon and was most certainly not disclosed until after they took my car and I had no choice but to pay. When questioned about the fee they got very defensive and had a hard time explaining it and also explaining why it wasn't quoted from the beginning. ASAP Towing is the Titanic of tow companies--except they saw the iceberg, hit it anyway, and then laughed about it while you sank. I was told 30 minutes--waited over an hour. Called back, they said "another 30 minutes" due to traffic. If they were already on the way, how does that even make sense? It was obvious they were taking other jobs and pushing me aside. This is not a company that I would recommend when it comes to reliability and honesty. They are a scam and their driver name Alaa is not honest. Their receptionist I didn't get her name has an attitude and not helpful. Their manager Sandro is not helpful either. here is the story for context: I support local businesses as we are in need of them and to help out each other. However, I do not want to be taken for my hard earned money. On 3/21/23, I called Geico for my jumpstart and they sent in ASAP TOWING! They came in 40 minutes later and the driver name Alaa told me that I need to replace my battery. My husband said okay and we paid $300 for a new battery from our own pocket. The next day the battery is still dead and my car won't start. Because I have 2 other cars, I just didn't bother to get this car started thinking my car has more problems than just a battery issue. Fast forward to today, I called aaa cause I forgot I used Geico for a jumpstart so I can take it in to a car service to get it going but when AAA came the guy told me that my battery is dead. Cars is supposed to have 12 bolts and mine has 1.35. they sold me an old or dead battery. I called ASAP to let them know to have someone give me a new battery but they wouldn't do it and told me it's my problem and call and drive myself to INTERSTATE in Miramar to go get myself a new battery. They are a SCAM AND THEY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES OR CLOSE DOWN. I have never paid for something that I regretted this much. Guy was friendly but had difficulty jumping the battery because the terminals were small and his jumper clamps were huge. He tried three different sets of jumping devices and finally was able to make a connection work. He really tried his best; I just think he wasn't very experienced, but he got the battery working and gave me advice on how to make sure I run the RV every week to keep the battery working. Negative 5 stars. My car was towed off a street for paving and I went to retrieve it from the lot they towed it to and wasn't able to get my car in drive or reverse. Had to tow it to a mechanic. Ended up being that they messed up something in the undercarriage and I had to pay $250 in addition to getting it out of the lot. I called tens of time to their claims dept and they kept stalking me telling me they would get back to me and never did. Highly do not recommend. Never got paid back for what they did to my car. ASAP towing is trash. Had a flat tire due to a nail in the road. Geico brings out ASAP towing. ETA was initially an hour but the driver texts they will be there in 30 mins. They end up taking about 1hr 15 mins instead. I call to check the status of the driver and it says that my claim was completed but no driver in sight. When I call the phone rings twice and goes silent. I stay on the line for another 30 seconds or so trying to say hello and then hang up. I call back and the man that answers is yelling and asking "what's wrong with you I put you on hold why are you calling so much." He's being so abrasive that I state this is my first time calling and I he says it's my second. Don't even have time to explain that the first dial didn't connect me with ANYONE and he places me on a ten minute hold. Finally the driver shows up. They don't put my car on the truck bed they just hitch it so the back tires are on the ground dragging behind. wake up this morning thinking I will only need to replace my tire and see all my oil leaked onto the driveway. They damaged my oil pan. Now I'm waiting to see how many hundreds of dollars this will cost me for the "free tow." I'm moving next week and now not sure what I'm supposed to do while I wait for Geico to have someone assess my vehicle. Leaving Geico after this to make sure I NEVER have a service done by ASAP towing again. Anyone contracted with ASAP towing is trash. They wrecked my new car! read more

This is the worst towing company I have ever come across. 2 weeks ago I was driving home with my 2 little sisters, I was right at our exit when I realized my tire had popped. I pulled over quickly and called AAA. They had said they wouldn't be able to get their super quickly and because myself and 2 little girls were stranded on the highway I made the mistake of calling asap towing. I could've had my dad or anyone come change the tire but I wanted asap to tow my car to a safer place before doing so. When the guy arrived he came in a locksmith van that he had seemed to be sleeping in. I showed him my spare and gave him all the supplies he needed (like a pump and a jack) which for whatever reason he did not have! Without towing my car to a safe place he changed the tire right on the side of the highway. Once my tire seemed to be on my sisters were exhausted so I paid and he quickly drove away. He took my card through a phone call with a random person (which seemed sketchy) and then scolded me about driving on a flat which any professional would see is not what happened. I had run over a nail. The second I got in my car every single dash light went on and I was unable to steer as my tire was wobbling . I got to my house (which was 5 minutes away) thank god and booked an appointment with pep boys in the morning. They were shocked to see that my spare had only been filled to 20 air pressure when it should've have been at minimum 55 and only 2 of the 5 lugnutts were screwed in. I then called ASAP towing back for 3 days in a row until a lady finally told me to send my claim to their email and then hung up on me. I sent my email and got no response so I continued to call everyday and got no where. Finally yesterday a women said that her manager "gave me a callback" and I could only recieve a gift card. I took note of her name and the managers hours and called back today. I got redirected and continued to call until I finally got in contact with the managers Jennifer who could not have cared less. Without listening to me as the customer even talk she quickly got mad and defended her driver who "she talked to and he said he did everything right" I then got a little agitated due to the fact that he put 3 people in harms way and she told me I could be lying about what happened after he put the tire on. We continued to argue as she insulted my claim and said I put 0 evidence in even though she could have just emailed back asking for more. I am now still currently fighting this company to recieve the 150 dollars I unfortunately spent back. I have evidence from every which way and the women still can't ensure that she will even answer the email once I send it. I would just like to warn anyone and everyone to never ever use this place! I am scared for what happened to myself and could possibly happen to others! They have terrible communication and really show that their whole act is a scam. read more

The first time, Brian, came out and jumpstarted my car and let me know I needed to drive around more, which is true as I rarely ever drive my Jeep because I live in an area where everything is walkable distance. This time Sandro let me know my battery was dead and needed replaced, I somehow was able to make it 9 years on the same battery. I called the driver and he said he swore he put it back and I showed him Proof it was not there he changed his comment to I'm Pretty sure I put it back did you look all over the car. The manager calls me and I told him all I needed was my wheel lock since It could've been a mistake he took it. No stars would be preferred- my situation sounds just like several others. Late, late, late- my insurance company issued this half ass team to my roadside claim. Quoted 90 mins in 108°. I called after the allotted time as I could do laps in Vegas for that time. I was told BY DISPATCH, who had to call their driver to even find out (supposedly) the driver had an issue with his vehicle- okkkkkkkkay, that doesn't sound reassuring when he's supposed to be prepared to take care of me? YIKES! 5 mins away with a tire issue that would take another hour(ish) to get to us. a call could have been all it took to keep me dangling, the service- dodged a bullet after reading these hit or miss experiences. THANK GOODNESS a red flag went off after that magical vehicle issue. I called insurance back and told them to assign me someone else. It wasn't the wait, I waited just as long for a more communocative and diligent company to arrive hours later- now reading the crap service I might have received glad they didn't touch my car.
