Nick was really helpful! He is a very straightforward guy which might explain why other reviews deem him as rude. My roommate and I are college students here and have never been in an accident before. Unfortunately, a couple nights ago we had one and needed a tow company to help out. He gave us a reasonable price and also connected us to a mechanic since we didn't have any connections in the area. He took the time to explain to us what was probably wrong with the car, helped us find parts for affordable prices, and even took pictures of the damage to send to his repair contacts. He was offering his advice to find cheaper alternatives to deal with this accident. We ended up with a really affordable repair shop. With the damage of the car and a short distance from the repair shop (~3 miles) we paid $400. It might be a lot but he at least went out of his way to help us save money elsewhere. Nick definitely had our best interests and was super helpful in an unfortunate situation. read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. This guy clearly seemed like he hated his job. I simply asked one question, and he responded with nothing but rudeness. If you want people to support your business, treating customers with respect goes a long way. I honestly don't know how they stay in business. read more

This guy also rents a bobcat, very rude, called him when bobcat was supposed to be at my job site at 8 and he was still sleeping, didn't get to the job til 9!!!! This was my first time renting with him and when the bobcat got there noticed how worn down his tires were and immediately got stuck. I called him to come back and pick up his machine and still charged me full price to use it for ten minutes. No customer service whatsoever. All he cares about is his money. Zero STARS. Stay away read more

Absolutely rude! The person who answered the phone hung up in my face before even giving a quote.. good luck

Driver of towtruck swore at us and called us idiots because I asked him if there was enough room to go around his truck. Extremely rude and uncalled for attitude. Perhaps on drugs??? His response was aggressive and inappropriate. Target shopping Mall in Esco. At noonish on 11/24/25. Management when called to complain about this insulting behavior, said "we dont take complaints, get outta here " and hung up. My recommendation: Take your business to a respectable service provider you have options! read more

These guys are thieves. They do not disclose their fees up front, but here is what they actually charge for a standard tow: $265 for the hookup (outrageous -- everyone else charges less) $15/mile (way more than every other company) a 4% card fee (excessive -- the card company only charges them 1-2%) If you hire these guys for a short tow of a few miles, get ready to be charged over $500 (i.e., 2-3 times as much as other tow companies). DO NOT HIRE. read more

Very quick and friendly! They took excellent care of me when my car stopped on the freeway.

Hands down the worst customer service I've ever experienced from any company, let alone a towing service. I called because I was stranded and needed help -- pretty straightforward. The person who answered was immediately rude, short-tempered, and completely uninterested in helping. When I hesitated to give my location right away (I was trying to confirm details), he got aggressive and made a comment that came across as threatening. Totally uncalled for. It felt like I was inconveniencing him just by calling. No professionalism, no patience, no basic courtesy -- just attitude and hostility. I hung up and called a different company, who thankfully treated me like an actual human being. Looking at all the other 1-star reviews, I can see this isn't just my experience. Seems like this is the norm for them, which is honestly kind of shocking. If you're in a stressful situation and need real help, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I genuinely hope this joke of a business shuts down -- it has no place serving the public. read more

Quick response and great customer service. He also worked with the auto repair shop to position the car in a crowded parking lot.

The truck was more than 30 minutes late after letting us wait for 45 minutes. Was quoted over the phone $165 for drop off and $15 per mile. Sounded reasonable so we had the car towed to a repair shop one mile away. The total should be $180. But the catch is that the prices is only for cash. To use credit card the surcharge is $55, making it $235. This credit card surcharge at more than 30% is the most outrageous that I ever encountered. If the driver informed us the surcharge over the phone when giving quote we would have chosen someone else. Felt being tricked. So be very careful to watch for bait and switch trick if you decide to use this service. read more

First the positive: quick response, the tow car arrived in less than 15 minutes Then comes the negative: my insurance company requests updates to the invoice to include the information of my towed car for reimbursement; the representative was extremely rude, very loud, and intimidating. He thinks his time is important, but not his customer's time. read more

They are scammers. I was left in someone's dirt road because the driver didn't bring the proper equipment. To tow my vehicle where it needed to go. These guys are criminals. read more

This business was very responsive, quick, and thorough when a car was parked illegally in my driveway.

From the initial call Nick was helpful and friendly. He gave me an estimated time of an hour to arrive and he arrived in 55 minutes! Told me pricing and was right on and no additional charges! Would I recommend this towing company, yes over and over again! Thanks Nick for being there when I needed a tow and by the way you called it~~it was the steering rack:) thanks again! read more

A huge shout out and big thank you to Nawar Azer from Freeway Towing who responded promptly and professionally. His skills were superior as he knew how to wedge our boat and trailer onto a flatbed tow truck (hydraulics assisted) which was no easy task. Nawar even informed us that the trailer wheel was a mile back on the freeway which we were able to retrieve and he towed our boat & trailer to a place that could repair it. Thank you again for the amazing service you provided. Your the BEST! read more

SCAM!!! Beware of this guys, extremely rude and manipulative !!!! first they tell you not to worry and once they get to you they'll take the advantage of you being stuck, try to charge an outrageous amount!!!! The guy shows up and started cussing and harassing me because I didn't agree to his price, threatening and shouting at me at such a fragile situation. I ended up calling another company that was able to do it for three times less than those guys. The driver got so mad that he was accusing me false accusations, causing more drama. I was on the side of the road on a hot day with a flat and needed to get to work. I called another company first. They were unavailable. I called Freeway and got an estimate and ordered the tow. as soon as I hung up the first place called back and was much closer and much cheaper. I called the driver from freeway immediately and asked was it too late to cancel. he said NO so I canceled and went with the closer and cheaper option I needed to get to work. the operator text me saying why did I cancel and started going off on me about how busy they were and don't waste their damn time again. I told him he was being unprofessional. He was cursing and even said he would pull up on me. I was literally about to fight this man just because I canceled my tow. can't make this up. They are horrible and would never deal with these kind of people read more

This company is the biggest rip-off I have ever run across in my life They told me the address I gave them to deliver the truck to didn't exist but yet they pulled up in front of the house they said they could not release my vehicle because no one was there yet my mechanic came out and talked to them They ended up leaving and taking my vehicle with them trying to charge me again a second time to return it to the original address They ended up leaving and taking my vehicle with them trying to charge me again a second time to return it to the original address This company is the biggest rip-off I've ever seen it cost me $600 And then they had the nerve to charge storage fee read more

I dealt with a lot of towing companies before, but I have to say this one is the worst. This guy will rip you off. He uses foul language and he takes advantage of people that are in a stressed out situation. Beware do not use this guy. He's very rude, unprofessional and money greedy he takes peoples cars and put keep them in their tow yard over the weekend so he can make money off insurance companies. Do not trust this man. Beware do not trust this towing company stay away from it. Beware this is the worst towing experience I've ever had in my life. Beware stay away from this company. read more

Ripped me off! The driver refused to tell me the rates before hand. When we got to our destination he looked me in the eye and said it would be $150 plus $20 hookup fee. $170 sounded like a fair price to me. I gave him my card and he charged me. The next Day I looked at the receipt he sent and it was $452.60. I called to ask about it and his boss said "oh no the driver said he told you" I tried to explain that that wasn't the case and he said "Who am I gonna believe him or you?" I said me, to which he replied "who are you, God?" ABSOLUTE CHARLATANS! read more

The WORST customer service you will ever receive. We were quoted one amount, and once we were at our destination told it would now be 200 over the original amount. Given no receipt and when we called to ask for one the owner was EXTREMELY disrespectful. Cursed and told us we sucked for treating them this way when they had helped us... They suck for taking advantage of people in a bad situation, looks like we weren't the only ones either. BEWARE! They WILL take advantage of you. read more

Avoid like the plague! Predatory practices. They had my car for a total of 81 minutes and charged me $640 which included a 2 day storage fee because the clock passed midnight. 81 minutes! Absolutely ridiculous! Nick the owner was rude on the phone and made no effort to even discuss the issue. Congrats Nick, you got my $$$ and lost as many customers as I can warn. read more

These guys dragged my car onto the flatbed because it was locked up and wouldn't go into neutral. I have a Prius. They bent the tire rod and then denied it. When I was talking to the tow truck driver, he said he knew how to get it into neutral but he would have to go through some steps to do it so he didn't do it. This was a surprise to me. As far as the tire rod, when I finally got my car back from my trusted mechanic, he told me about the problem and gave me the tire rod to look at. It would have been easy for them to remedy this by offering to take care of the cost of a new tire rod but they hung up on me when I called to tell them about it and wouldn't even consider that there was a right way to treat people. There's other details about my experience that I won't go into, but I will say that I don't think this company has any integrity and might damage your car. read more

I needed a jump start for a dead battery. Their driver was there within 20 to 30 minutes and quickly started my vehicle in less than 5 minutes. For this service I was unknowingly charged $ 350.00 ! 5 star towing companies actually exist! Freeway Towing is great. I never thought I'd say that about a towing company, but here you go. I've used Freeway twice - once for towing my disabled trailer (broken axle) out of the Anza-Borrego Desert and back up to Ramona. Today I needed my truck towed. All the other companies I called were going to take 2+ hours to show up, but Freeway said "We'll be there in 30 minutes." And they kept their word. read more

They were incredible! My car has been dying since Labor Day, and I couldn't figure out the issue. I had a mobile mechanic come out Saturday, they were with EMS mechanics, looked under the hood and attempted to jump it. Nothing, and charged me about 100$. These guys came out, looked under the hood of my car, noticed the dimming lights and was able to jumpstart my car with a mobile little jumpstart kit. He then told me I needed a new battery and showed me that it was bloated. He gave me the name of the battery and the cheapest option. (Autozone). I was even 2$ short since I didn't have time to go the ATM, assuming they'd be towing it etc. They were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much. read more

I've now twice used Freeway Towing and been very happy with the level of service provided both times. Freeway was quick to respond with both a quote and a same-day pick-up time. I hope I don't need to use a tow service in the future, but if I do I will be contacting Freeway Towing. read more

Tried to jump it and got nothing. It was obvious that I needed a new battery. I couldn't just walk to Pep Boys down the street because I have an infant. I sent the business a message at 4 am because I needed someone to bring the battery and install. Nick sent me a message letting me know he could stop by the store and buy a battery and install it no issues. The price was right ($225). No regrets. Nick was insight. Gave me some recommendations and let me know I definitely waiting a little long to change the battery. I appreciate Nick and I'm grateful that it was a quick fix! read more

Terrible customer service. If you don't agree to the absurd tow charge they'll hang up on you without warning.

I needed a vehicle removed from my backyard. It had been left there 6 years ago, both rear tires were flat, and I didn't have a key. Nick shows up, he was very professional and courteous. He had the car hooked up and removed in like 15 minutes. He even helped me take my trash bins out (I'm on crutches). I highly recommend this company read more

Rude and unprofessional, called for help then they told me to "get outta here", then hung up and blocked my number. wow.

I unfortunately didn't catch the name of the person who helped me out, but i have to say I have never seen such impressive maneuvering in my life. He knew what he was doing and got my car out in less than 20 mins when other tow companies told me it was not even possible. Arrived within 40 mins, which I suppose isn't 30 mins or less, but I told him it wasn't urgent and he still arrived so quickly! I've only ever had cars towed for free by AAA, so I don't know if the price was good or not, but considering the relief it gave me to get my car taken care of, I really don't care. read more
