I called Triple A and after waiting for four hours for service, I gave up on them. I called Two Bit Tow, gave them the situation, and they gave me a very reasonable quote. I hung up and conferred with my mother, and decided we would cancel the Triple A service after a very long day. I called back and no one answered, but a man named Jose who has his business JV Towing called back, and works with them. Jose came so quickly, he said he'd be there in 30-45 minutes and he came exactly in 30 minutes! My Tacoma needed a flat bed tow because of how badly it was totaled, and to be put in our driveway not blocking the sidewalk due to HOA rules. A very specific tow job, and did an overall amazing job. And to top it all off his pricing was very reasonable. So many tow companies in San Diego have such bad reviews and I cannot see Jose or Two Bit Tow ever being like the other ones. Thank you to the Two Bit Tow team and their partner Jose at JV Towing for helping my family and I so quickly!!!

Needless to say I was irate. After discussion he reduced the price of the bill by 10 dollars. He told me he did not have time to change his sign. I will never use this company again . Never!

Call me crazy, but I drove the recommended 50 MPH for a doughnut spare. I have to tell you, it was scary with all of these speeding idiots around me. I didn't know if I was going to get rear-ended, slammed into a wall or what. The only advantage of driving 50 MPH is that I got 28 MPG, vice my average 22 MPG. La Mesa Tire hooked me up! They didn't have any used tires for the size I needed, but they did have the exact same brand of new tires. They're used tires start at $45 They cut me a break with a brand new tire for $60 cash! This is a business that looks out for their customers, this is why they are so highly rated. But their ratings are slipping due to people who have YELP accounts, but don't take the time to write a short praise for the service they received. They're a five star in my book. I believe I found a new tire and automotive maintenance team, which is closer than any of the brand named tire and maintenance companies.

Should be called "WORST" Towing & Roadside Assistance as they are responsible for a "hit and run."…read more Business address per Yelp- :8721 Troy Street, Spring Valley. On May 17, 2024, a Best Towing & Roadside Assistance tow truck, driven by Rwad "Roger" Thouzen, was in the lane right in front of me and in heavy traffic in Spring Valley. I watched a large piece of steel fell from his truck bed just above the hitch area and went under my car. Unfortunately, I could not stop or it would've caused a severe rear end collision involving many cars and I was unable to move to either lanes next to me due to the heavy traffic. After the steel object came out from under my car, I was able to chase down the tow truck. The truck stopped and I informed Mr. Thouzen that a piece of steel fell off of his truck and under my car. He quickly looked under the front of my car and said "your car is fine." He gave me his business card and said "Don't worry, I will take care of it if there's anything wrong." He kept asking where his steel object was and clearly was more interested in getting his object back that damaged my car than in me or my car. I gave him the specific location where he could find the steel object that damaged my car. He made a quick U-turn and went back to that location to retrieve it. I drove a few blocks to my home but notice the car was very loud. Approximately one hour later, I called Mr. Thouzen at the number on his business card, 619-456-5360 as I was just leaving my house and again heard a very loud noise coming from underneath my car. He didn't pick up the phone, but I left a voice message saying there's something wrong with my muffler and I needed to have him call me right away with insurance information. I let him listen to the very loud noise in my car via the voice message so he could hear that there was definitely something wrong with my car. He never returned my call. I called two days later to the same number and spoke to a "Danny" who apologetically said he was aware that there was an incident with my car. He promised to have Mr. Thouzen return my call. He never did. I brought my car to the car dealership who inspected it. They said my muffler and exhaust system was punctured. The total bill was $1535.07. I forwarded a copy of my bill to the phone number Mr. Thouzen's telephone number and asked for a return call. He never did. Then, I eventually hired a private investigator (PI) to help me communicate with Mr. Thouzen and Best Towing and Roadside Assistance to resolve the bill or secure their insurance information for my vehicle. Around the first week of July 2024, the PI sent Mr. Thouzen a letter, email and contacted him telephonically. Mr.Thouzen was given the option of paying for the damage or providing his insurance information so we could file a claim. Mr. Thouzen said he wasn't responsible for any damage to my car and that the company Best Towing & Roadside Assistance was no longer in business. (These were both lies. As days later, several pictures were taken of the tow truck towing cars, furniture, etc.) Mr. Thouzen told the investigator that he would call the investigator back by the end of the day to provide insurance information and cooperate. Mr. Thouzen failed to call back as he said he would. Numerous telephone calls were subsequently made by the private investigator and messages were left for Mr. Thouzen. He failed to return any voice messages. It was determined also that the business didn't exist anywhere if you googled it except for Yelp and the business address in Yelp was not valid. I urge you NOT to use the service of Best Towing & Roadside Assistance or Roger Thouzen as they are unethical, irresponsible, criminal and unscrupulous. If anything ever happened to your car while they were dealing with it, you're on your own for any and all damages and they/he will lie through his teeth. Clearly, professionalism, honesty and integrity are not a part of their value system. I will say, however, that a part of my value system is a belief in KARMA. This company won't last long nor will Mr. Thouzen as his criminal behavior (hit and run) will come back to bite him eventually. It always does.
