My vision is clear, colors are brilliant and I can see street signs 100% again. Oh my goodness, I am so happy. Dr Nethery and his staff are professional, kind and efficient. The staff in the surgical area were sweet and fun which helped with the pre op "jitters". I highly recommend this office.

If you're looking for a specialty eye doctor I do not recommend Nethery Eye Associates. Let me…read moreexplain. I've been having vision issues for a few years and was recommended to see a specialist for my droopy eye lids. I've had blepharoplasty, as well as Botox injections but now, I'm at a point where I'm being told I would benefit from getting a direct brow lift. My problem is not my diagnosis it's the way this office handles billing. After asking many questions about the procedure, prescription and costs, Nethery Eye Associates (NEA) gives me a quote for the doctor fees plus explains that there is a cost at the surgical center as well. I call the surgical center to get the cost. Two weeks later I have my evaluation appointment at NEA, see Dr. Sears and he explains the procedure again. I get to the front desk billing/ and she quotes me $1,000 more for Dr. Sears to do the procedure! I question her and she says the fees went up - then tells me she confirmed with her manager just this morning. I understand that I asked a lot of questions before I commit to a surgery, including why Dr. Sears refused to write it up as medically necessary when knows my past vision history and all that I've been through to try and see better. I might also mention that Dr. Sears was sitting 4 feet away from the billing assistant when she gave the $1,000 extra quote for his fee! Seriously?

Disappointed. I visited this office for several years and enjoyed really good results. Dr is…read morefriendly and works to meet your needs. Moved a couple of years ago and tried a new doctor closer to home which did not measure up to what I'd become accustomed to here. Called and made an appointment noting I get off work at 4:15 and need a later appt if possible. They set me up for 4:40. They called and left a message a day or two later that they had to move it up to 4:20 (despite knowing I can't make a 4:20). I missed the message (totally my fault). Didn't realize my error until it was too late. Called them back the next day to reschedule. Person that answered the phone wouldn't set an appt. Said she'd call me back. I asked why we couldn't set an appt and she said she would have to check with the doc because he has a strict no-show policy. Evidently, he said no because I haven't heard back. I understand a missed appt can be a missed opportunity to cash a check, but I've seen this doc several times. I was genuinely looking forward to seeing an eye doctor I trust again. This makes it a tricky review. He's a good doctor. I'd recommend him for the quality of the experience. But this seems petty and punitive. I'm a patient; a customer. I feel like service providers should accommodate their customer. Not the other way around. Especially, when their office changed the plan and moved up my appointment.
