In my many visits, I have seen several of the doctors and have been pleased with all of them, I find them to be knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and not pushy about upselling for services that I do not need. I always get a contact lens exam since I don't ever wear glasses and have always been pleased with the experience. They keep good records so I don't have to remember the last time I visited--they already know! In two years, when it's time for my next exam, I will be back to Grafton Eye Center.

They apparently have 4 Optometrists so I didn't know exactly who would be examining me. Turns out I saw Dr Michelle Lewis. I found Dr Lewis engaging, personable, friendly and professional. She took plenty of time to answer my questions. I did not feel like I was "just another ho-hum patient". The eye center's staff were also very pleasant and friendly; always smiling and chatting. I won't wait another 5 years for my next appointment. I'll be back next year.

I actually drove back a half hour later since it was the first eye appointment in over two decades of annual appointments that didn't feel right. He ended up changing the prescription by 0.25 on one eye. I think I'll find an MD eye exam next time around.

I returned to my eye doctor and they had given me an incorrect prescription!! Wisconsin Vision redid the glasses with the correct prescription at no charge. I returned today for a second pair of glasses. Erin was great to work with and even pulled out some frames from the back which they had just gotten in. I chose one of those and will get the glasses in 2 weeks or less. She found the best price for me since I self pay. I have found the staff of 3 occasions to be friendly, polite and professional. They were also recommended to me by my eye doctor and I concur they are great!

They communicate clearly what they are doing at all times and make the eye exam an easy process. My youngest child in glasses was only 4 when he began treatment and with his special needs with adhd and his anxiety they worked well with him. Over the years we have seen Dr German for continued care and he is patient and very calm in his practice. The once 4 year old is now 15 and we will continue care as long as our eyes need it. One of my children needed to see a retina specialist and the office worked with us to get her scheduled at that office. With insurance changes we have gone sporadically to other optometrists and ophthalmologists but the care we received elsewhere just doesn't compare to lakeshore. The reasons for…read moremy 1 star rating are as follows: Dr. Walters misdiagnosed me, is illegally withholding medical records, thinks 8 weeks is a legitimate time frame to return phone calls, and is overall very rude and unprofessional. It is my assumption he is withholding my medical records and the office notes because they are incomplete and substantiate my claim of a misdiagnosis. Not only is withholding my medical records a HIPAA violation, it's not representative of a legitimate medical practice. I have made several requests both verbally and in writing for my records AND THE NOTES. If my Medicare and HIPPA violation complaints don't get their attention, perhaps a subpoena will. Dr Walters claims his standard time frame of 8 weeks to return phone calls is completely reasonable. This is absolutely absurd. Not only have I worked at several reputable medical practices, but I often have to reach out to various medical practices regarding myself, children, and wife. I have yet to come across anywhere else that its not SOP to return phone calls within 24 hours on a business day. At most legitimate medical practices 24-48 hours is the standard. When I dared to very nicely bring these issues to Dr Walters attention, he told me that I should be nicer to people who have "carried" me. I asked him what he meant by this statement and he did not care to elaborate. These items I spoke to him in a completely flat and emotionless tone. I still don't know what he meant by "carried you" since he hasn't even done the bare minimum, yet the billing system seems to always be working just fine. Finally, the parking lot, waiting area, reception area, bathrooms, and diagnostic area, were ALL very dirty and unkept. I'm sure if you have simple needs for something like near or far sighted correction, and you are willing to put up with the above, then go ahead and take your chances. Otherwise if you have low vision I strongly recommend you avoid this place for your own health and safety.

It took 14 days to get them and would take another 7-10 days to get them redone. I cancelled the order on Tuesday having lost confidence in the lens manufacturer. I have just had my fourth eye surgery a corneal transplant and my glasses being correct is super important after all I have gone through. I went to Family Vision Center to see the selection of frames they had. They had a great selection of a variety of different shapes. I went the same day I cancelled the others. I did not realize they see people by appointment (COVID). They did not have people scheduled that day apparently. Even though they weren't seeing people that day they gladly helped me find a frame I liked. The previous place had to cancel the order in the system and have it cleared before they could place my order under the new insurance. There were issues getting this accomplished and they spoke with my insurance company five times to get the order through for me. They were friendly, professional and willing to help me get this done so I could get my new glasses. I can't express enough how pleased I am with this business.
