In my many visits, I have seen several of the doctors and have been pleased with all of them, I find them to be knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and not pushy about upselling for services that I do not need. I always get a contact lens exam since I don't ever wear glasses and have always been pleased with the experience. They keep good records so I don't have to remember the last time I visited--they already know! In two years, when it's time for my next exam, I will be back to Grafton Eye Center.

She took plenty of time to answer my questions. I did not feel like I was "just another ho-hum patient". The eye center's staff were also very pleasant and friendly; always smiling and chatting. I called FFD and spoke with a staff member who let me know we couldn't reroute the delivery but they would make me a new bouquet to pick up. The staff member was so patient as I had almost completely lost my voice. I showed up to their shop with my mask on and a barely audible hello. They knew exactly who I was and got my package ready for me. I love that they partner with other small businesses to create fun bundles. The candle accompanying the flowers smelled amazing and the chocolates were delicious. Over a week later and the flowers look just as good as on day one! The prices seem in line with other sporting goods stores, but the customer service is what elevated this from a 3 star review to a 4 star review. I was greeted when I entered and asked if I needed help finding anything. He walked me toward the right area and another team member took me the rest of the way. The weight lifting belt that I bought rang up $10 more than the price on the peg where it hung, which is common in retail since things get moved to the wrong place by customers all the time, but the same product from that same peg had the same price as the price on the peg. So the team member have me a 15% discount to get closer to the listed price, which I was cool with. I also bought a new Brewers t-shirt for about $5 less than I find at most other retailers. I will consider Burghardt's for future purchases if I can't find what I want closer to my house.

When called back for my appointment the doctor was not very friendly and argued with me regarding an increase in my prescription. He suggested I get checked over by my general health doctor to make sure everything was functioning correctly, which wasn't a problem since I had a yearly wellness check coming up any way. However, all came back normal and my prescription had just gone up quite a bit. Needless to say this left me feeling confused, but I decided to order the contacts anyway. It's been a month since my initial appointment and still no contacts in. My replacement/trial contacts have dried up and ripped so they gave me some that were "close" but are still causing irritation and headaches. I've stopped over multiple times during business hours to ask questions about this but there was no one there. I understand being open by appointment but why have regular hours if you aren't going to stick to them? Anyway, I've really wanted to like this place but I'm finding it really difficult and will likely go somewhere else next time.

I went to Family Vision Center to see the selection of frames they had. They had a great selection of a variety of different shapes. I went the same day I cancelled the others. I did not realize they see people by appointment (COVID). They did not have people scheduled that day apparently. Even though they weren't seeing people that day they gladly helped me find a frame I liked. The previous place had to cancel the order in the system and have it cleared before they could place my order under the new insurance. There were issues getting this accomplished and they spoke with my insurance company five times to get the order through for me. They were friendly, professional and willing to help me get this done so I could get my new glasses. I can't express enough how pleased I am with this business.
