This place is so Fun! Absolutely love it. Best games hands down, and the Moscow mulea are pretty on point also. So much fun, and kids can play until 9, then it is 21 and up. If you are a child of the 80's and grew up in arcades, this is the place for you! For a $10 cover you can play all the classics...Pacman, Donkey Kong, Asteroids, Defender. After my first time I requested Spy Hunter and when i went back it was there. I also requested the arcade version of Punch Out which they have not added yet unfortunately. They have Mike Tyson's Punch Out but that isn't the same to me. First time I went was on a weekend afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. Second time was on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded. When it is crowded like this it is hard to get on the more popular games like Galaga. I read one of the other reviews and i did not witness any cougars. This is what the nerd community here in DFW needed, not just the nerds but everyone over 30 who grew up hanging out at Putt Putt and playing games for hours! Plus, you can drink craft beers and the food is good-and did I mention mostly healthy food? The crowd was Laid back and that nostalgic feeling is definitely there! Old school games set to free play all for a measly 10 dollar entry fee they give you a paper wristband which allows you in and out privileges all day. Why is that good you ask? Sometimes it gets really crowded and you'll have to wait for the game you want to play to open up, but most people are respectful and good at taking turns. This place has huge room for improvement. The good... They have pinball machines They have rare arcade machines that I have not played since the late 80's or early 90's The staff is very friendly. The bad... They only have 5 pinball machines. If they had 10 then I would come more often since I love pinball machines. The food from the kitchen for lack of words (sorry guys) SUCKS...it truly is pitiful. It is overpriced, dull and the portion is very small. (pizzas) They have a very, very limited menu as well. What can I say I really didn't come here to eat but... I feel that having better food and some more selection, would be an improvement. I have spent my money at the Vietnamese Pho place and the fast food places instead. Have some cheap pizza and concession stand type foods that you would find at a bowling alley or roller skating rink circa 1983. PLEASE! This place is CROWDED with a capital C. (Went on a few Saturdays) (This is not their fault but their games are sometimes 3 people deep.) The last time I went I think I was there 3-4 hours and maybe got to play 5 or 6 games because the games were over crowded. Last of all....3 dollar Mexican cokes are a RIP OFF and an insult. Admission is just about $10 a person which is super reasonable since all the games are set to free play once you are inside. Fun date night. Finally got a date night , with my husband, and hit this place up on a recommendation from my sister. Really fun to play all of the retro games. It does get really busy the later it gets on a Saturday night, so be prepared to wait. We didn't eat here, but had a beer. Kinda pricey, but not too terrible. This spot was recommended by a family member during a trip. I was looking forward to a nostalgic afternoon with my husband and kids. What I came to find was rude service, an in competent staff and a very unimpressive venue. If you enjoy looking up all your own drink recipes for the bar tender, all your questions being answered with I don't know and no one here can help you for that while using out of date technology that is poorly maintained then this is the place for you! To top it off the were extremely rude an I accommodating to a family member with disabilities. Definitely not ASD/ADA friendly! As a mom with family members I need to make accommodations for when traveling or going new places I heavily rely on reviews and web information to make proper accommodations. If your a family in a similar situation I encourage you to avoid this venue completely. You can download most of these games for free now on your phone and desktop and don't need the additional inconvenience. I can see how this is a fun place for young kids who want to buy a drink and play vintage games however I would not consider it family friendly at all. Love!!! I went during the day and took my kids for their spring break special. The food was AMAZING!!! I seriously expected soggy fries and greasy mozzarella sticks but we ordered delicious grilled panini type sandwiches with quality ingredients. Everything was cooked to order and they could work around our family allergies! The games were so fun. Talk about a blast from the past! Dig Dug, Pinball, Mortal Combat, games I had never heard of, they were all here! My PacMan got a little wonky and the owner walked over and fixed it right away. Fun arcade. Well over 40 single and two player arcade games. Fun 80s and 90s soundtrack playing. Really crowded at 4 pm on Saturday. Kids birthday party when I went. Didn't seem like a young kid friendly environment but they were everywhere. Employees were super nice and had great beer selection when the one I wanted was out. All the games were working, no "out of order signs" on any of the games. Just wish it was more adults than huge groups of kids. read more

Went on opening night. I think this place has a lot of potential, but it felt like there were also a few things they weren't quite prepared for that think could be improved. Pros: nice game selection (Disclaimer that I personally am not a big gamer and spent most of my time on Mrs. pacman or Tapper while my husband and friends delved into a much wider variety and seemed pleased.) Drinks decently priced. Nice to have a fun new bar concept in the Richardson area. Cons: it was way bright in there, which kind of killed the bar vibe. Also marketed to have craft beer but did not have a large variety. I think/am hoping this may have been due to them just opening however. Also their method for storing credit cards was less than secure--they were all in a stack and they handed my friend a card that was not even hers. We spoke to the bartender about this and he said a card box was being ordered, which hopefully is the case. Overall I will definitely be back to try the food and see if they've found their footing a bit more with time. read more

This is a cool spot, especially if your coming later when it's 21+. I enjoyed all the throwback arcade games and pinball. My only gripe is that a few of the pinball machines didn't work which is a bummer as it was my main reason for coming. Man I will spend all day in this place if you dont pull me out of here. I feel like a kid again when I walk in here and I see all these games brings back good memories from my childhood. Plus the fact their beer selection is fantastic. Give me one of those coffee IPA stouts and I will kill it on Galaga, 1943 and Mortal Kombat. All the race games and off road games are awesome too. We went to Free Play with some friends and had a great time. We didn't eat there, but had a few beers and played the great video games. They had all the games I remembered from growing up. Frogger, DigDug, Asteroids, Pole Position,... It was 10 bucks to play all you want, with no coins or quarters to mess with. My buddy is in his mid 40s and he couldn't stop smiling. I was a little nervous that people would stay on one machine and not move on, but everyone seemed equally interested in playing for a game or two and trying something else. The beer selection rivals most any bar I have been too, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Every machine had a place next to it to put your beer. You could even get a Big Red or a Tab if you didn't want a beer. To seal the experience, they were playing 80s music that really took you back. If you were alive during the 80s, you will love this place. read more

If you love video games you have to go to this place! I can play taxi driver all day. They do switch games out but keep the popular ones out unless they need repairs. At any given time I would guess they have at least 50 games out. They also have one of the largest beer menus around. The lone knock on the place is the menu is not extensive but even that is fine because they will let you leave and come back as long as you keep the wristband on. read more

I enjoyed the Addams family pinball. Which was the last pinball I played. As far as the rest of the games alot were set on hard mode. I love bugertime and mk2. But settings were just too high. This is one of my favorite places on the planet! I stop by regularly to feel like a kid again. They have a wonderful collection of games, good food and cold beer. I thought it might be difficult to play some of the more popular games, but I haven't had an issue with someone monopolizing a game yet. They also seem to rotate the games fairly frequently. I have been able to play some of the classics again: Gauntlet, Off Road, Tetris, Tron, Smash TV, Beer Tapper, and the original Star Wars arcade. I keep hoping they will get a Tournament Cyberball 2072 machine. read more
