Very fun place with retro games and plenty of pinball machines. I had fun they offered veterans discount too for under $10 you can have a whole day of fun. They also have tons of beer.

A nice throwback arcade. It's a bit small and although you get a lot of bang for your buck with $13 of free play (pay at entry), I can't imagine being there all night. I'm also not a gamer, though. It still is a great outing for an hour or two that is affordable. They have a full bar and food menu. I didn't eat, but the drinks were affordable. There aren't many places to sit or put drinks down around the games, which makes it a lil tight but they do have a main seating area. It's located in a small.shoppimg center, if you aren't looking for it, you'd probably miss it. The staff stayed very busy with the constant foot traffic but were very friendly.

Top score! Nice arcade, plenty of room, and machines in great working order.

There are 4 Free Play Arcades around the Dallas,TX Metro area, each are a bit different in size & setting, but roomy enough to say "large arcade". These all have full service bars, but will admit kids with their parents until 9PM. Standard all-day wristband pass paid admission. All the classic cabinet games from the 1980's are here, then newer types of games that were popular in 90's to Y2K. Internet games also available. Plenty of tables & seats with room for strollers or wheelchairs. Pinball alley has 10 decent machines, not too old, nor the newest. Staff is welcoming & helpful. Restrooms kept clean. Parking is right in front in this older mall building. My highest Q-bert score has been 143K, this night I booked 102K. My quest for 200K is my Nirvana... The Asteroids Deluxe game functions very well, but I like original Asteroids game better. Try this easy going Free Play, the local crowd is courteous & chill. Bonus round: a giant old school KFC is nearby, with a massive indoor lobby, and a history storyboard wall exhibit. Not many of these left.

Fun environment. The games are old but they have kept them in good working shape. The price is not bad at all either. The food wasn't the best I've ever had and the pizza was a lot smaller than I would have expected. But at $10 it's not terrible. Fanta, retro games, good company? What more could ya ask for? I have been to this location and the one in Fort Worth. I personally think the Fort Worth Location is better though. Seemed a tad bigger with a better selection of games.

Good arcade, lots of old games, one of the few disappointments is no NFL Blitz, but has a lot of other classics.

It was midweek and not super busy! So many arcade options for all ages, plus air hockey and skee ball. It was unlimited play for like $12 a person! The claw machines are a separate charge but worth it - lots to choose from! Decor inside is so much fun, lots of great movie props! Plus it's clean! Our group ordered pizzas which were good and typically pub pizzas. The also had beer and wine beverages and a large selection than we anticipated. Nachos and popcorn were good and throwback to fair food! Everything was well priced and such a fun time. 5 stars for the staff who were so nice and customer focused!

My daughter had a blast. She collected enough tickets to win some cool prizes. Some of the games weren't working, but we got to enjoy most of them. It was a fun way to spend an hour or so.

I took my grandson to NickelRama a little over a week ago, while he was visiting from Ohio…read more Having never been, I had no expectations other than to think we were going to an "arcade." I had looked up NickelRama online just to verify that fact, and in so doing I read that all the arcade games were, go figure, a "nickel!" Anyhoo, what I did not realize was that NickelRama are a chain of "play for tickets" arcades, where one may then redeem the tickets for "prizes," akin to that which one might imagine winning at a carnival "Guess Your Age/Weight Booth," where number of prizes range from a stick of chewing gum or pencil topper on the low end to perhaps something electronic on the far upper end, depending on the number of tickets being redeemed. My grandson was fully aware of what we were getting into, as I quickly learned. After we made entry and each received our initial $10.00 purchase of 200 nickels, presented to us loose, in plastic cups, he immediately began searching the arcade for what he determined to be the game that would result in us accumulating the most tickets. This was not his first rodeo and he certainly knew the "name of the game" was quantity over quality, as far as ticket acquisition goes. The idea that we might challenge one another in some friendly video game mano a mano competition was quickly replaced by us challenging an electronically crafted gizmo to give up the most tickets possible, for later turn-in and prize procurement! As such was inevitable, he found THE game and thus, the challenge was on. It took us each about 45 minutes to burn through our 200 nickels. Well, I actually left the particular game and sought some variety of play, after about 160 or so nickels. That was short lived however, as I quickly realized my grandson's assessment was correct and the game to which he remained attached was the one that was most generous in spitting out tickets. Hence, I returned to sit beside him at the adjacent game and fed the remainder of my nickels into the machine. When our nickel cups were empty, I urged my grandson to walk about and seek out other possible games, but he quietly reminded me none were as generous as the one we'd just left. Still, I was seeking variety so, I enticed him with an additional cup of 100 nickels. He retrieved the cups and we began playing a game somewhat similar to THE game, but as he pointed out it just wasn't as lucrative. So, we went back to the machines we first sat at and fed. After a short period, we both were done and ready to feed our tickets into the Ticket Counters for tabulation. The ticket counters, booth count AND slice the tickets in half so they may not be reused/recounted. As our tickets were counted, he was declared the winner, by his count exceeding mine, by about 800 tickets! In total, we had a combined give or take 5300 tickets, with which he could now utilize to "shop" for prizes. With an "All-in" investment of just at $40, including the $5 entry fee for each of us to the NickelRama, he was able to get a tiny rubber eraser, a pair of large foam dice, and a plastic foam ball pop gun. In the end, I considered it money well spent, since the goal of the trip was to spend some quality time out with my grandson. He had fun and I had fun! He was shown that he was valued by my following his lead in our quest. And, he outperformed me in the acquisition of tickets! If you're looking to spend some time with your little ones and you want them to feel good about themselves, a NickelRama can fill that need! If you go, just keep in mind, that the quality is not in the prizes but in the time spent together! Live well. Be well. Cheers!

This place is incredibly disorganized and honestly feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen. For the amount of money you spend to get in, absolutely nothing here is worth it. Here is what you need to know before you go: * Zero Staff Supervision: There are no staff members supervising the bounce room or the shooting area. Because of this, little kids are running wild with guns everywhere. * Not Teen-Friendly: Because the facility is overrun with unsupervised "littles," teenagers do not have a dedicated or safe place to actually play. If you have older kids, this is definitely not the place for you. * Broken Games: The "video game" area is a joke. They only have 12 older games, and only 4 of them actually work. * No Basic Amenities: There is absolutely nowhere to put your shoes. On top of that, they do not offer any food or drinks for sale, meaning you have to haul everything in yourself. Save yourself the headache and the money. We will not be returning.

Ok. Could have been better…read more We went for a birthday celebration. My son decided on the survival escape room. Escape room was fun. The experience was fun. I would love to give this place 5 stars. However, we paid for one hour. First issue was the names. They got one of the names wrong. They put Paul instead of Ethan. So no big deal. We waited around for a time while they fixed that. Then we started our adventure. We had fun BUT then as we solved the adventure, the VERY END was about to happen. We just did our very last objective aaaaaaand the screens went black. The girl said our time ran out. We looked at the clock for our escape room and it said 49 minutes. Which means they started the clock on our time 11 minutes before we started the game! Which caused us to miss the big ending! What a let down. And that also means they were running the clock the entire time we were just waiting while they tried to fix the name mistake that they made. By the way, they also spelled my name as Jejfff instead of Jeff but we let that one ago. I didn't feel like paying another 11 minutes just for them to fix that name too. I mentioned to the girl at the end that we didn't get to see the ending. We still should have 11 more minutes! But she just looked at me blankly and said "oh sorry". Sooooo. I wanted to like it. But I feel we were sort of jipped out of the escape room ending. UPDATE: We returned and the situation was resolved! We did a different escape room this time ("Alice" at the owners suggestion), and the experience was very cool. Our time was not cutoff, and we finished the room within the hour. Everyone was friendly and polite. We will be back for sure. Thanks for the resolution! The ooooonly complaint is that I would prefer the goggles to be more thoroughly cleaned between patrons using them. A few of us had that issue, blurry dirty goggles. But that's a minor complaint. Great job!
