My family and I visited Strike & Reel for a family night out to see the new Minions movie, and we had a really good time. The theater seats were comfortable, which made the movie even more enjoyable. We also ordered food during our visit. For anyone wondering about pricing, we spent about $70 on two kids' meals, lemon pepper wings, pretzel bites, a mocktail, and a bottled water, so that gives you an idea of what to expect. After the movie, we took the kids to the arcade, which was a fun way to end the night. If you're getting a new arcade card, just know there's a $2 activation fee. Overall, we had a great experience. The menu is fairly simple, but everything we ordered was good, and the atmosphere was family friendly. We didn't get a chance to try the bowling alley this time, but it's definitely on our list for our next visit. The chairs in the theater reclined and they had food service in movie. Menu is ok. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. They have icee and it was good. Ordered nachos and it was ok. The arcade and the theaters are okay, however when it comes to the bowling alleys don't even consider ordering food or drinks. They take forever, will get things wrong, and not come check up on you the whole time you are there. I've been wanting to try this movie theater for years now, especially since it's the closest one to my apartment. The theater isn't as big as Cinemark or AMC, but they do offer $5 movies on Tuesdays. I strongly dislike the online ticketing process-- it's inconvenient to have to call in order to cancel/refund tickets. At other theaters, I can just go online and click a button to cancel. At Strike + Reel, I have to call the box office and read them my entire card information to process a cancellation. Overall, the theater is decent and affordable (if you pay the one-time $20 membership fee). They don't provide free water cups like Cinemark or AMC, and the restrooms are small (only three stalls in the women's room), and two of them were out of toilet paper when I went. The place was packed on Tuesday, which brought back memories of the good old moviegoing experience. Popcorn costs $8 for a small bag, and there are no refills on the $5 soda cups. If you're looking to save an extra dollar on movie Tuesdays, this is a great option. But if you care about the amenities that bigger theaters offer, it's probably best to skip this one. read more

Now you know the service is horrible if I'm writing this review while still in the movie theater!!! My brother and I ordered food and didn't get the food until the middle of the movie AFTER I pressed the service button checking the status on our small order ! Even after the food was delivered we had to request napkins and condiments. Once those were received I refused to bug the incompetent wait staff again for plastic wear to dress my burger, so I dressed the burger with my French fries. Great movie seats! Food service has gotten so much better. We used to go all the time but the service was hit or miss. We saw toy story 5 and the service was excellent so we came back for minions and the service was great. We saw the Odyssey today and the service was fantastic. I've never been to a Strike and Reel, but have driven past this place quite a few times! I went here to watch the 2024 Twisters movie. Movie theatres have definitely changed quite a bit since I was a kid! I loved the big plush reclining leather seats with a cup holder and food tray. Extra brownie points for the heated seating option for people who love a toasty seat :) You have the option to order your food while seated in your recliner and they will bring your order to you. Alternatively, you can go to the "Self-Serve" counter and order at the counter. I felt like the matinee tickets were fair (around $12 per ticket). The prices for concession were a bit pricey and I didn't appreciate that they only had 1 size for everything. Highway robbery lol. Please bring back small sodas and popcorn! Really enjoy Strike & Reel, I come often and actually paid for the Reel Rewards a couple years ago and they pay off nicely (and I own the high score on the GotG pinball machine). Movies, arcade, bowling, are the constant goods. Laser tag, rock climbing, rope course, bumper cars and unfortunately the restaurant are hit or miss depending on if they are A: Open and Staffed and B: Staffed by good, knowledgeable employees. No disrespect to the people working, everyone has their bad days, but occasionally you get the worker who either doesn't care or doesn't know and it can sour the day sometimes. But there are still very good workers and most of the time it's an enjoyable experience that makes me want to come back. read more

Movie date night Friday 9/13 We purchased tickets online, pretty simple and easy process. Ample parking, and easy walkability. I will say we were taken aback with the handgun/weapon screening process at the door as I've not experienced at any other theater locally. During our entry we noticed mostly younger teen aged workers, when bringing in orders to theaters there seemed to be lots of joking, horseplay, as well as one serving huffing and puffing over the food trays while delivering orders. The movie itself was great, nice reclining and seats with optional seat warmers. We did not visit the arcade or bowling areas during our visit. We had fun for what we came for. Played several different games, rode the bumper cars and did the above ground obstacle course. The obstacle was fun to do with my boys but I didn't have the guts to do the zip line part. The only downfall, which I'm sure it's not easy to get past in public places and whereabouts, was when I entered the women's bathroom, it smelled so intense from weed. This could really be a great place but management was lacking. We were there at 11:45pm and it was over run with unchaperoned children. A lot of the games were broken. The good offered is below par. Anyone you talk to about an issue is oblivious because they are 18. This place is a person with nefarious intentions dreams. The scantily clad 13 and 14 year old girls and grown men walking around was very disturbing to me. I understand parents like to drop their children off at arcades but then again this was late at night. I saw only a handful of adults and tons of kids. They were even sitting at the bar. so on Sunday I gave my grandson a graduation celebration with friends and family. I'll start with the horrible experience of booking online especially when you're not trying to spend $500 or more. When we arrive on Sunday the manager on duty didn't want to honor what another manager Felex had told me over the phone. Then they put our party in the VIP area that had no working AC. When I complained the manager said he could send us ice water and I said that was unacceptable when I paid close to $275 for my event. Eventually after spending 20mins of my reservation arguing with employees we were moved and offered free appetizers. But now our service was horrible our food took forever when it came it was either cold or wrong. Our pizza got delivered to another party we could never get silverware to eat with or plates it's just a horrible experience each time I've tried to plan a event but they quick for your money read more

My son wanted his birthday hosted at Strike and Reel - what a wonderful experience! We reserved a theater for a private screening with our own server, bowled a couple games, crushed each other in bumper cars, annihilated each other in laser tag, climbed a wall, did a ropes course and played a million games in the arcade! So many things to do in this place and the service was excellent. The manager, Sheri was there to help us with whatever we needed. We have been long time visitors Strike + Reel. 29-Aug we went to the re-release of Jaws 50th Anniversary, theater #4. I am gluten free, therefore, in advance, I called to make sure there were gluten free options (as I always do, menu's often change) I was assured they had tacos, salads and gluten free pizza options. Imagine my surprise when I get to the venue to order and the options are slim to none. The first server we had was a young lady, when I asked if the the tacos were on corn tortillas her response was "there on some kind of tortilla but I'm not sure wha they are made of". I asked her to check with the kitchen to find out. In the meantime, our drinks are delivered, no napkins. A different server returns, he tells me the tacos are on flour tortillas. I explain I'll have the pizza with the Cauliflower crust; he tells me they ran out a few weeks ago and have had trouble getting their delivery so therefore they don't have it. I then ask him exactly what on their menu or in their kitchen is gluten free, he tells me "not much" I asked him to go back to the kitchen and ask someone. He returns to tell me I can have a salad or a burger with no bun. I opt for the burger with no bun and no FF because they are cross contaminated. I say no FF at least 3 times. During this time our appetizers are delivered, still no napkins. My SIL asks for napkins and a straw for her iced tea, they deliver 2 napkins, I say to him, "sir, we ALL need napkins" so they finally bring enough napkins for our party. When our food is delivered I am not given utensils, how does one eat a burger patty on a plate with no bun and no utensils? And there were FF on my plate... UGH. I push the button and ask for a knife, to cut said burger patty, and a fork. He tells me "we don't have any knives, I'll have to check if we have forks" Wait.... WHAT?!?!? If there are no utensils, how would I have eaten a salad?? He returns with a fork AND a knife. The cocktail I had didn't taste like it any alcohol in it. It's sad that this establishment has deteriorated the way it has. GREAT concept, TERRIBLE management. The actions of the service staff is a direct reflection of management and training.Over all, we were there to see a movie, and see the movie we did. The food and the service was terrible. The wings hit the spot for me, there were two tiny pieces of celery - didn't even realize they were there till later lol The burger and tots were so-so, asked for medium and felt like it was well done, the tomato slice was too thick. First timer at Strike + Reel. Walking up it remind me of a Dave and Buster's, but bigger and better. I can't comment much on the bowling or games outside of just walking through. The electronic machine is fairly easy to maneuver to purchase tickets. It gave the movie options and directed you on how to pay. It was odd that the payment screen took a while to reset, so we thought that it didn't go through even though it provided our tickets. The seats are awesome. Recline and heated/cooled deepening on your preference. We didn't know how to order food, so I went out to ask a employee, which they provided direction. For those who are new to the venue, there is a button next to the legs that you to push for service. I got the epic fries appetizer. Honestly, I couldn't expect much more than fried food. However, we weren't offered condiments and the staff forgot our waters until reminded. The food for four of us come at all different times. The movie experience itself was good. read more

I took my family to go bowling. I paid $52 for the hr. No problem. But no server came to assist after asking twice. I finally go to bar to order food and bartender was like I can take ur order but you have to take it to the lane. He moved in slow motion for drinks and 2 of them were just water and lemonade. I had to keep walking back n forth to carry my drinks 3 trips. Food took forever to come out and when I kept coming to check on it (barely bowled cuz I was being a server) but bartender wouldn't even acknowledge me. Food came out on big circle thing that I couldn't carry at 515. We got there at 419p. I asked for manager two times and no one came. Servers were present but on phones chilling with people at counter. The bartender that closed us out was young and he was amazing and polite but this was after we played games. This place has a bowling alley, arcade area, and also a mini movie theater. I went to this place on Tuesday night with my husband and cousin in law and the movie tickets were only $5! Cheap movie tickets since nowadays, typical movie tickets are expensive to watch a movie. I watched Gran Turismo and the movie theater was so cute. It's a mini movie theater and when you entered the movie room, they pretty much had everything a normal movie theater would have. I wanted to order popcorn and a drink and was looking for that, but once I sat down, someone came over to give me a menu and asked me what I wanted. It was so nice to have someone do that and once you ordered, they get your food and bring it to you. The menu has a few different selections which is nice as well if you haven't ate dinner or if you want a mid-night snack. The shakes were pretty good and they were big, so be cautious when ordering that. The seats recline like how the ones I sit in at Century theaters back in California. One thing I have to say, is that they have seat warmers! Thank goodness they had that. I was cold in the theaters. They also have cold seats as well. So nice!
