Go Karts
Heidi R.

My fiance and I came here on a Saturday night when we had a hankering for go-karts. We ended up spending some time in the arcade which was fun but a bit pricey for the variety of games. The prizes you earn are all pretty cheap (but cost a lot of tickets) and the woman behind the counter ended up giving me most of my prizes for free when I told her I was a preschool teacher. We played putt putt as well, which was fun but the environment was clearly in need of some TLC. Leaking water, faded statues, cracked concrete. The go-karts were lots of fun, but they really need to enforce their "no bumping" policy. Teenaged boys in our group were constantly pit maneuvering other drivers which impacted our safety. The last time I came here was over 15 years ago as a child and this place is definitely showing its age. A much needed power washer, some cans of paint, and new carpeting it could be grand once again. It's a shame it's so neglected!

I think what makes this place special is the employees, they are always nice and respectful and do their best to help you have fun! Yes, the place is old, but I think it still provides a fun environment, we need to support these type of businesses as it would be sad to see this place go, it's been here since I was in high school. The place is not full so that makes it a lot better for families and groups to enjoy their visit. We mainly come for putt putt and go karting and it's always a great experience. I suggest you look at their discounts, we always get their deals otherwise, it can get pricey pretty quickly. These are posted at the entrance.

While this place has room for improvement, the employees here are what make it 5 stars! Ali, specifically, went above and beyond to help us get situated, purchase our passes, and make sure that we had a great time! Thank you for making our day! Will definitely visit again!

Took my niece there a couple of nights ago, and although we had a good time, I was extremely disappointed to see how the place had been run down over the years. Very dirty, filthy bathrooms, leaves and debris all over the greens, and at a time when health and sanitation is all the rage, especially with the coronavirus, no hand sanitizer anywhere to be found. In fact, what we saw was the sign attached to this review. Let me also not forget to mention that the intercom announcements were exhausting. The announcements about the grill closing, or the location closing, seem to come every 10-15 minutes and repeated 4-5 times per announcement. Beyond annoying!!! The best thing I can say about the place is that the staff was nice. I do appreciate that everyone there seem to enjoy working there. If management could get their act together and clean the property up, and the greens, this might be on its way back up to a higher review.

Long wait for the go kart (1 hour wait)

I've been coming here for years since over 12 years ago and I have really enjoyed this family fun center for what it was. As I grew up I used their batting cages for practice and this visit was to reminisce and ride the go carts. However the way they run the go carts is ridiculous. My friend and I had just had an enjoyable time at the small arcade and wanted to have a quick ride before we go. We decided to stop at go cart track and upon arrival the line stretched all the way through the line queue which seemed long. We assumed maybe the line went by quick however we were so wrong. The employees were only using 16 of their 30+ carts to service the line and I find it ridiculous. We had to wait 4/5 rotations for a single ride and at 10+mins per rotation it easily added up to almost an hour. The longest I have waited for a go cart ride was in Branson where it was only 20minutes. Now I see why they charge their unlimited play passes so cheap because even if you pay for unlimited, you don't want to spend a whole hour every time you ride. After paying $9 per ride and experiencing an hour wait, I was thoroughly frustrated. I haven't been back in so long and this experience doesn't make me want to come back at all. To owners: please allow your staff to open up more karts for bigger crowds.

This was a nice place. The only issue is the Go Karts take too long to get a turn. It's a couple hours wait for sure. We did golf , laser tag, and arcade and went home. Other than that I would go again.

Is there a charge for a grandparent who isn't playing any games or rides?

There wasn't a charge for my boyfriend and I when we took the kids . Only ones playing are the ones you pay for .

How old do you have to be to drive?

Check the DPS website for that information. What does that have to do with Adventure Landing though.

They have several games to choose from and even basketball & my all time fave skee ball! Almost every game is $1-$3... totally affordable. They have a large bar on one side and a dance floor in the middle. The bathroom was clean & fully functional. I left before the party started but will def be back to play games & enjoy drinks with no screaming kids

Pinball machine had a sticky flipper, guitar hero had a broken button and strum bar and the PacMan machine had a faulty joystick. Not to mention, the machines advertise "$1 per play" but using your card charges you for several games. I've seen the business owner's reply to comments like these however it is not clear as you are paying to play and is very misleading. Imagine paying $5 per game and it doesn't even work properly! Additionally, I somehow payed twice ($14 total) for some photo booth pictures that don't even have any special branding of the bar. I've never had such a horrible experience at a barcade and don't plan on recommending this place or returning when I visit Dallas again.

This was one of the most disappointing customer experiences we've had, not because of a rule--but…read morebecause of how it was handled. Our six-year-old son loves racing. He's been racing regularly since early November at another Andretti location and has already been officially verified as meeting the height requirement for the junior track. We came to this location excited, with family in town, expecting the same consistency. Instead, he was denied access based on a manager's visual guess from behind the counter. No one measured him. No policy was clearly explained. No customer records were checked. And the manager refused to even come out to engage directly. If height requirements are about safety (which we fully respect), then they should be enforced objectively and consistently. Guessing from a distance is not safety--it's laziness and poor leadership. What made this worse was the complete lack of empathy. Watching a child who loves racing go from excited to confused and disappointed--without explanation or care--was heartbreaking and entirely avoidable. The Andretti name stands for precision and professionalism. What we experienced here was the opposite: disengaged management, inconsistent policy enforcement, and a total breakdown in customer experience. We didn't ask for special treatment. We expected competence, consistency, and basic respect--especially when dealing with kids. This experience ruined our visit and seriously damaged our trust in this location. Until Andretti addresses these leadership and operational issues, we won't be returning--and we'll think twice before recommending it to other families.

The race cars are really the main attraction here and the entire place revolves around the racing. You cannot make a reservation. It's a first come, first serve situation. There are four racing categories (see below), so if you come with a group of mixed ages or heights you may not all be able to race together (I've witnessed this shock when birthday parties assume they can race together). The Intermediate and Junior Races are slower than you'd assume. I could jog faster, but the WORST part is the speed. They go so slow and are controlled so it's nearly impossible to pass another racer or actually RACE! The Mini Mario has some speed and speed is adjusted based on the general age of the racers in the heat. The cost is $29 down to $15, which doesn't sound horrible, but after waiting for a long time for your group to be called and then racing for 1min to 7 minutes, the cost is really high! High enough you're not likely to get in line and do it again. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Ugh. There are kiosks and a giant line with actual people at a counter. Don't be mistaken YOU MUST go to the kiosk FIRST and fill out waivers, although there are no signs anywhere telling you that. We've filled out waivers on line before arriving, only to find ourselves at the front of the line and told "we can't find it, now to to the kiosks and get back in line". It's awful. The employees don't seem to like their jobs, or likely are sick of people being upset at them for the HORRIBLE process management has set up. We've never been able to find someone on the floor to help us when a video game eats our money or doesn't work either. The guys in the race area are hit or miss. Sometimes they're patient and kind. Other times they mumble and seem pissed off to be there. GAMES: The video games are the same as other places around town, but after driving all the way out here, searching for parking and then racing for 5 minutes we've always felt like we need to play a few games to make the trip worth it. FOOD: We've never eaten here, but it's basic bar food (hamburger, hot dogs, nachos, etc) and the cost is high for such basic food. We'd rather pay the same amount for better food options in the area. All that to say, expect to spend $$$ to come race, eat and play at Andrettis. Make sure your group has checked the height & age requirements to make sure you can race together. And finally, come with a lot of patience. ----- Race Categories ----- ADULT RACE 7- Minute Heat.
