This spot is a good entertainment spot for kids. It's definitely aged a bit and not really well taken care of but if you're in the area it can get the job done. The staff isn't particularly hospitable or caring and as long as you know that going in you will be fine. We did laser tag, mini golf, and the go carts. The carting was fun but again, all the equipment is aged and can leave you wondering if it's all safe (it was totally fine). I wish they'd spend some money making it a little nicer and hiring some more friendly staff but it is what it is. read more

Games are fun for kiddos. As mentioned in some other posts, there always tend to be some that are broken. Golf course hasn't changed since Putt Putt days and it is what it is. My fiance and I came here on a Saturday night when we had a hankering for go-karts. We ended up spending some time in the arcade which was fun but a bit pricey for the variety of games. The prizes you earn are all pretty cheap (but cost a lot of tickets) and the woman behind the counter ended up giving me most of my prizes for free when I told her I was a preschool teacher. We played putt putt as well, which was fun but the environment was clearly in need of some TLC. Leaking water, faded statues, cracked concrete. The go-karts were lots of fun, but they really need to enforce their "no bumping" policy. Teenaged boys in our group were constantly pit maneuvering other drivers which impacted our safety. The last time I came here was over 15 years ago as a child and this place is definitely showing its age. A much needed power washer, some cans of paint, and new carpeting it could be grand once again. It's a shame it's so neglected! read more

Man, what a hole! Never been in such a disgusting place for families. A bunch of games were broken down, damaged, or functioned like crap (air hockey). Some of the games are from the 80s, and not in the cool, retro, giant screen way, but in the archaic left behind sense. One game, the screen had a purple hue to it. Not because it was designed that way, but because the screen is old and it hasn't been replaced. To go with that, the games are insanely overpriced. Gave each of my kids a $10 card and they were done in under 10 mins. Leaving the smell-of-rust arcade lobby, we headed to the mini golf course. This is a joke. Every hole is a straight line put. Same cost as Monster Mini Golf and you get 18 holes there instead of 9, and they're more challenging and cooler. Thank God we saved the go-karts for last. About the only legitimately fun feature in this atrocious area. But it could not redeem everything else from the dilapidated status of the structure to the filthy bathrooms no employee attends to clearly as there was no soap or towels to dry your hands. I think what makes this place special is the employees, they are always nice and respectful and do their best to help you have fun! Yes, the place is old, but I think it still provides a fun environment, we need to support these type of businesses as it would be sad to see this place go, it's been here since I was in high school. The place is not full so that makes it a lot better for families and groups to enjoy their visit. We mainly come for putt putt and go karting and it's always a great experience. We were trying to hit the area mini golf on a 1 day outing so tried this one out by UTD area as we've driven by it for many years. Took my niece there a couple of nights ago, and although we had a good time, I was extremely disappointed to see how the place had been run down over the years. Very dirty, filthy bathrooms, leaves and debris all over the greens, and at a time when health and sanitation is all the rage, especially with the coronavirus, no hand sanitizer anywhere to be found. In fact, what we saw was the sign attached to this review. Let me also not forget to mention that the intercom announcements were exhausting. The announcements about the grill closing, or the location closing, seem to come every 10-15 minutes and repeated 4-5 times per announcement. Beyond annoying!!! The best thing I can say about the place is that the staff was nice. I do appreciate that everyone there seem to enjoy working there. My husband was in a child's kart and he yelled at me and my daughter stating that she could not drive the kart unless she was 16 yrs. old. I've been coming here for years since over 12 years ago and I have really enjoyed this family fun center for what it was. As I grew up I used their batting cages for practice and this visit was to reminisce and ride the go carts. However the way they run the go carts is ridiculous. My friend and I had just had an enjoyable time at the small arcade and wanted to have a quick ride before we go. We decided to stop at go cart track and upon arrival the line stretched all the way through the line queue which seemed long. We assumed maybe the line went by quick however we were so wrong. The employees were only using 16 of their 30+ carts to service the line and I find it ridiculous. We had to wait 4/5 rotations for a single ride and at 10+mins per rotation it easily added up to almost an hour. The longest I have waited for a go cart ride was in Branson where it was only 20minutes. Now I see why they charge their unlimited play passes so cheap because even if you pay for unlimited, you don't want to spend a whole hour every time you ride. After paying $9 per ride and experiencing an hour wait, I was thoroughly frustrated. I haven't been back in so long and this experience doesn't make me want to come back at all. To owners: please allow your staff to open up more karts for bigger crowds. read more

Spent over $40 for two adults and two kids to put put. Only for my daughter who is allergic to mosquitos to get bit three times within 10 minutes. So we asked if we could apply the credit to indoor arcade games within those 10 minutes. The kids we deal this are young on and on their phones constantly eating snacks. One thing we noticed when first checking it out. They come back after talking to "their manager" and say they cannot apply those credits. Even though we ask for the manager the manager never comes out. At that point my daughter was not feeling so well we just decided to leave, but the fact that the manager never came out and we noticed these young kids just chilling on their phones snacking away. Had a party there. Called twice before to ask the policy and whether I should pay ahead of time. No one picks up and the answer is no. Place was crowded and there were 6 people working but none facing customers. Some on cell phones. Didn't pay attention to me and finally came to me with a clipboard a few minutes after the party was supposed to start although we arrived 45 minutes early to check in and set up. The planner asked me questions about the menu which they told me was all worked out. They didn't serve enough drinks for the number of kids so we were constantly running back and waiting in line to ask them. When you have a party they do not give you the game cards and wrist bands immediately. They give you the game cards 15 minutes after your event begins because they wait until your event starts to give you paperwork. Then you need to wait in the same line with all customers (in our case 10 people were in front of us) after the pizza is served and right in the middle of your party to pay and then someone else bring you the wristbands By that time your party will be 1.5 hours over. Lines for the go karts are 30 minutes long so parents were annoyed the party was more than 2 hours. Our guests complained of rude staff at the bumper boats. No one was at the prize area so the kids we invited kept asking me for help. As a host you need to spend so much time in line and asking staff for help you will not be able to supervise kids or talk to guests. What a mess. Adventure Landing could be a cute retro spot but it needs an actual general manager to train staff and get operations running smoothly. I love adventure landing and I have the happiest memories here! I've been coming since I was really young. One time we came here on a summer camp field trip and I had so much fun. We ate the delicious pizza under the pavilion outside and then came in and played arcade games for what felt like was hours. I even won my very first jackpot. Me and my dad love coming here and Hitting home runs in the batting cages. It's not in the best condition anymore but I hope it stays so more kids can have happy memories here! read more

Look, I have been raising kids for going on 12 years now, so I understand these places are a little cheesy and meant to appeal to kids, not adults, but this place is pretty run down even when you come in with that understanding. Also, the burnt oil smell inside was hard to take. The mini golf course was just about the most boring I have ever seen. Every hole was just a straight shot to the hole, with a hill or small hazard to add....something....there was no creativity at all. The kids and I had fun because we were together, but not because of the course. At least it was cheap. Had my baby's sixth birthday party here over the weekend- do not recommend. Our birthday 'leader'? She was blonde but she was so bland and openly disliked her job so much I don't even remember her name, she was absolutely lifeless. I was shocked at how someone like this could work at a place with so many kids. When we walked into our party room- it was like a desert- so hot!! She came in to check on us twice. It was like the energy was sucked out of the room and all she really came in to tell us was that we had 15 minutes left. And on top of that, they did not even clean the table cloth from the prior family. It was sticky and disgusting- the bathrooms were also terrible, toilet paper everywhere! Yuck. They tell you one thing on the phone about the party timing and structure to the events in your package and then AFTER YOU ARE THERE with your guests, they act like they have no idea what you are talking about or who gave you that information. Took my Grandkids there today. I bought a 3 event pass, only to find out that the go carts and bumper boats weren't going to be open for a few hours. We had our pirchase adjusted and did golf and laser tag. We also got tokens with the deal. We did laser tag a few times, and each time at least 1 or 2 of the vests did not work. The game machines were not in good working order, they ate tokens, but did not work, or stopped working part way through. I would understand, if it was a machine or two, but there were a bunch that didn't work correctly. It would appear that there equipment has seen it's day. I almost gave 4 stars because this has been a place I've gone to since I was younger, and has great nostalgia as I bring my 2 older kids here. In a sea of newer and much more extravagant local amusement parks and arcades like Dave n Busters and Round1, this place hardly holds a candle...but my wife and I have found this is the easiest and less crowded place to take our kids for a quick 2 hour fun getaway. Honestly, the #1 reason we come here is for the go-carts. They have singles and doubles, where you can ride with your young ones. I believe the minimum height for kids to ride with an adult is 42", and my sone is just shy of that. He's almost 3...but they have never checked and my 2 oldest LOVE racing on the course. The course is pretty good and you get some pretty good velocity. They have bumper boats, but they're slow, only opened in a short season, and not many people walk to that section. Batting cages are blah, lasor tag is passable, and the arcade and prize area are pretty weak, but does the trick entertaining our kids. read more

Came to Adventure Landing a couple of weeks ago for a church event, and we all got bracelets that let us mix and match between mini golf, go-karting, and laser tag until we got to four events. I only ended up using 2 before I went home, and that's because the line for go-karting was really long; it was a Saturday night and we got there around 7, so it was understandable that there were a lot of people. The go-kart area only allows 9 people to be on the track at a time, so we had to wait for a while. It was fun though when we finally got to drive, albeit pretty cold. The laser tag was just alright; it's not a very big area, so there's only so many places you can run to before it starts getting old. The person running the laser tag didn't do a great job of explaining to everyone what was going on, either, so it wasn't until the end of the game that some of us realized we'd been playing individually instead of on teams. The place wasn't the most upscale, but it was adequate for its purposes. I didn't play any of the arcade games but though the selection was pretty sparse they all seemed to be in working order. read more

I'm an arcade junkie. I like to go to every arcade area and win a lot of prizes. So that's how i stumbled across Adventure Landing. Adventure is not one of the best arcades but it has way more. They have a somewhat challenging mini golf course, batting cage, arcade room, go carts, bumper boats and laser tag all for a decent prize. Hours on end can honestly be spent here & it's great for all ages. Some of my complaints are the area where you get prizes... SUCK. it's the cheapest, breakable dollar store nick knacks you don't want to waste your tickets on. You might as well spend all your tickets on candy. It really sucks that they have a nice selection of games & games that give you lots of tickets but a waste bc the selection is terrible. definitely not for anybody older than 12. And my second complaint is this place seems kind of dirty to me. it is also extremely dark. Lots of parking. & nice employees. read more
