I had my oak tree trimmed last May. This review is a bit late but I want to leave it now. I had a few tree company before and very bad experiences. But this place was the BEST. Edward came with 2 helpers. Edward was an expert!! He really knows how to trim the tree!!! Thank God I don't have to search for a tree expert any more!!! My oak tree looks very nice now. read more

Freddy's tree service was excellent. Easy to get a quote through yelp/text after sending a picture. Price quoted was very fair. License info is easy to find on yelp/their website and you can verify they are licensed/bonded/insured on the CSLB. Had them chop down a nuisance pine tree on our neighbor's rental property. They confirmed with my neighbor that it was ok to do the work and scheduled the job to be done only 2 days later. They showed up on time, took the tree down very quickly and cleaned the place up like they were never even here. It was really entertaining watching them work. I will definitely use them again for any tree work and would recommend them to anyone who needs work done. read more

My neighbor and I needed a tree & stump removed from between our homes. My neighbor secured some estimates, but they were from folks without the proper business credentials (licensing, insurance, etc.). I had used Freddy's Tree Service in 2021 to have some bird of paradise roots removed with a stump grinder. They were professional, did a great job, and their price was competitive (I appreciate that they are licensed, bonded, and insured). So, I decided to call them for an estimate. They answered my call quickly and scheduled an estimate for the same day. Edward (the estimator) arrived on time. He was very professional, and he gave me a very competitive & reasonable price for the complete removal of the tree. I've scheduled them for this week, and I'm confident that they'll do a great job. I'll add to my post once the work is done. UPDATE: They did it again...Another GREAT experience! The team arrived as scheduled, they were professional, efficient, and careful (the tree was between two houses). I am very pleased with the result and the overall experience. read more

I have used Freddy's Tree Service three times now, and they never disappoint. They are neat and haul everything away so no mess is left behind. They have tidied up several of my palm trees as well as significantly cutting back some large, overgrown trees on a property we were getting ready to lease out. If you need this kind of work done, give them a call! read more

Our second time around using Freddy's Tree Service. We have a huge tree in the back of our Fullerton House that Freddy's trimmed two years ago. This time we really needed it to be THINNED. Plus our neighbor has this pepper tree that has really become a nuisance. Got a prompt and reasonable quote The crew arrived 30 minutes early to start. -Trimmed and shaped the huge tree in the backyard and took the eyesore pepper all the way down to wood in 4 hours. Believe me, some of the limbs on these trees were over a foot in circumference. The trimmer welded his chain saw like a rapier. He clearly knows what he's doing. -The crew wore masks even though they (obviously) are outdoors -All crew members amicable and kempt. My son-in-law trimmed some branches off our front yard tree and they collected that and chipped it for us. -The truck and equipment are in excellent shape. -They left both front and back yards spotless. The trees look great. Definitely a keeper read more

Eduardo from the company just back to me today and apologize for not being responsive. There was a death in the family and he was out of the loop for a few days. He was kind enough to reimburse the funds that I paid for the outside person to remove the remaining roots. That was really nice of Eduardo and the company to do that which most companys wouldn't even do. I told him that they will continue to be my go to tree service company and will send referrals along. Thank you Freddy's Tree Service. read more

Hired to remove a few trees and trim everything else. They came out while I was out of the house. When I got home, everything looked great except for a large bush that circles a fountain that was not shaped. I contacted them, was told I could leave payment under the mat and the crew would collect the next day (thursday) when they would finish the bush that was missed...i forgot to pull the check on Friday night after nobody showed for 2 days, and someone showed up in the early morning saturday, only to take the check. I reached out and was told that a crew should be back later that same afternoon. I followed up and was told 2 more times over the courae of the next week, that the job would be done. Nobody has come to finish the agreed upon work, so i told them to forget it (no response). So, while I was pleased with the work that was completed, I wouldnt hire them again based on this experience. If you do, make sure you are 100% satisfied before making payment. read more

This is the third time that I used Freddy's Tree Service. We called them to get a quote to remove a couple of 10' high palms in our front planter. They came within the hour to give us an estimate, which I thought was very reasonable. Two hours later, the palms were gone with the stumps ground below the ground-level. I've used many tree services over the years and Freddy's is, in my opinion, the best. They bring a crew and all the equipment they need to finish the job fast. read more

They did good work and cleaned up as they went along. I am happy with the service that was provided.

I highly recommended Freddy's. Their services were wonderful and very reasonably priced. I couldn't have asked for more. First, at the service day, they came on time. In fact, they were all ready to go 10-20 minutes before appointed time. And as my church has a lot of trees to trim (42 trees), they finished the work as promised- very efficient and no delay! Secondly, while waiting to get a quote from them, they also gave me a specific time, so it was easy for me to get a quote. Unlike other tree service agencies where they give you a two hour window. I am grateful that the whole process is smooth and easy! I would use them again next time! Thank you for your professionalism ! Great work, Michael, Ed and the rest of your team!! Appreciate your help. read more

We have used them multiple times to trim our large tree hedge, and they continue to do a great job!! We have also used them for hauling things away and moving furniture, which has been very helpful. Had 3 stumps removed. Would have taken me a month of weekends. These guys did it in like 3 hours.

From this point on Freddy's would be my go to tree service company. Freddy was able to give me a quote over the phone for five trees needed to be trim and he's able to start the work very soon. Five guys coming out to work on our property it took them half day to finish the job. My trees look a lot healthier, airy and still maintain the shape that I wanted to. These hardworking fellas done an amazing job and clean up all the leaves on the ground. Highly recommend this company. read more

I was in need of tree trimming service for a pepper tree that was overgrown in my backyard. Looking through Yelp at different tree trimming companies, I decided to go with Freddy's Tree Service based on the positive reviews left by their clients. I initiated communication through Yelp and then spoke with Mike about my service needs and was able to setup an appointment for the trimming crew to come out on the same day. Samuel from the crew was very professional when I showed him the tree and what I needed done. The crew completed the job very quickly and efficiently and left the work area completely clean. I would recommend this company for tree service needs. read more

Contacted via Yelp and provided a reasonable quote to trim my palm tree. Sam and Jose showed up on time, wore masks, and were very professional. Trimmed tree and hauled away all the trash. Eduardo and the team at Freddy's removed 2x trees for us recently. They quoted quickly, were competitive on price and did an efficient and professional job. You couldn't ask for anything more. Would highly recommend. Thanks! read more

Obtained quotes from four well-known tree service companies and chose Freddy's Tree Service. The primary reason was my experience walking through the job with their arborist, Eduardo Ureno (and the Yelp comments by their other clients was helpful.) They trimmed all of my trees. These included several different varieties, some older, larger trees and other relatively new trees I wanted trimmed to grow into the right shapes and sizes. Eduardo was knowledgeable about each variety, how it should be trimmed and why, and helped develop a plan for the recovery of a failing olive tree. The quote was not the highest or the lowest but I felt it was reasonable given everything that needed to be done. The crew showed up on time, did a nice job on all the trees and left everything cleaned up and looking good. Eduardo oversaw the work, was a great communicator, and was responsive to my comments or requests as the job progressed. The price originally quoted was the price paid. I anticipate using them for all tree services going forward and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and neighbors. read more

Freddy's Tree Trim Service just completed their project. They arrived promptly (in fact early) this morning and removed 90% of my existing landscape and trimmed 6 trees. They were efficient, completed the job in less time than initially quoted, and did a spectacular job. I had the initial consultation with Edward over three months ago, and although it was like pulling teeth to get a written estimate (sorry Edward lol!), he was good for his word and kept our verbal agreement on the estimate. I had a scheduled several estimates for this job and Edward and his team were by far the best choice. I would definitely recommend them! read more

We've been looking for a new tree service because the service we used for years got very lazy about returning calls, etc. We used Freddy's tree service for the first time yesterday, and it proves that change is good! They returned our calls, they were on time, and they were the cleanest crew we have ever had. They also were good about working hard to finish the job in one day as promised. I'd definitely recommend this business to others as good customer service and reliable service is something that isn't always easy to find. read more

My sister used Freddy's Tree Service once and she likes the service a lot and she referred Freddy's to my brother and me and we are all very happy with the services provided. The boss, Edward, is excellent. His team arrived at the sites on time, removed the trees and stumps at three houses on the same day as promised. They even repaired my wooden fence at no additional charge. My family will definitely use Freddy's tree service for future jobs. They are really nice people and do excellent and professional work. Thanks Edward. read more

In my own opinion, Freddy's tree service is one of the best team I've ever worked with:On time, honestly, and the price is fair for the jobs. I highly recommended Freddy's Tree Service to everyone who wants to keep the garden nice and clean. Another project was done by Edward and his team. All I can say is: wonderful job! This was the second time I had them cut back my neighbors tree to the property line, trim and shape my ficus trees. They did an amazing job at a reasonable price. Their crew is prompt, knowledgable and friendly and they left my yard and pool with no leaves or clippings. I would highly recommend them. I won't use any other tree service again. Freddy's Tree Service was great. I'd 100% recommend them. We heard of Freddy's through a contractor friend who has used them before. We asked for an estimate to have an overgrown tree removed, plus all the roots. Freddy's came out the next day, listened to everything we needed, then gave us a written estimate that was very reasonable. We asked if they could remove an old concrete water feature, and they quoted a fair price on that, too. We booked them for a week later. On the day of the job, their crew arrived early, which was helpful. The job was a little complicated - we have a narrow walkway on the side of the house, with not a lot of room to maneuver, but they carefully got their equipment through and carried all the debris out, no problem. The tree itself had four different lines running through it; Freddy's worked around the lines with no issues. Honestly, I was kind of amazed. At the end of the day, the tree, the roots (there were a ton), and the water feature were all removed, with no collateral damage. It's exactly what we needed. read more

Was quoted through Yelp and they were the lowest from others I had received a quote from. Asked to schedule to take out my queen palm. They cut it down quick within 30 mins and then a little later they came back with the grinder to take the stump out about 20 mins. They leveled it out and came out great. Would hire then again. read more

Edward and his team were great, they did an exceptional job with cutting down an 18' Mulberry Tree. Tree did not look that big, but once they dug and exposed the roots, wow, good thing we called them to come and remove it. The roots were digging toward our home. They had all the tools and expert hands to complete the job. Very impressed with the professionalism and job site clean up. I did a quote to 7 other companies and they offered the best price in town. I would definitely recommend them. It's like a tree was never there. read more
