I wish I could give it a zero star. I brought my wife's ring in for the prongs on her invisible setting to be tightened. They broke the diamond. They Tried "fixing" the broken diamond with a new smaller diamond. After 6 months of them sending it back and forth to be fixed for the 3rd time (still not right) they said were not going to fix it or give you the appraisal amount. We had it appraised threw them. The ring was in perfect shape when we brought it in for routine maintenance (insurance purposes ). So after all this time waiting for them to fix the mistake (made by them) they told us we're screwed. $15,000,00 n were the 1s that lost out. Taking it to court. I don't recommend going to the jewelry store for anything. Repairs or purchases...update. I had it looked at by a different jeweler today. He pointed out more things wrong with the diamond they tried replacing it with. Unbelievable how they screw over people that just want the ring the way it was when first brought in read more

On September 6th we went to pick a cake we had ordered from Kelly's Cakes and were very disappointed. It was very small and not at all what we envisioned. We were treated very rudely and not given a refund. We went right to Fred Meyer and Gina took our order and began making our cake. By 6:30 we had the wedding cake we needed for the reception that night. It was just what we ordered and tasted delicious. read more

I was going to just ignore this, after having pointed the problem to store employees and the assist. manager who WAS willing to speak to me, but it was actually the store manager, Kevin, who inspired me to write this. Multiple employees tried to call him and he did come to the end of a nearby isle and peek at me while having a pow wow with the employees who called him. What an insult! Anyway, I'd avoid their deli. The employees are rude and disgusting and I watched them ignore the people in front of me until they left angry. Eventually one employee, who had been cutting extra meat for herself while ignoring everyone, eventually came over. She couldn't care less that, according to their own times marked on their roasted chickens, they were sitting around since 11AM (it is now 5PM). That's at least twice the time allowed by safe food handling practices. I bought chicken pieces from the deli because they "appeared" less old, but when I asked they still couldn't tell me how old they were either. This deli could sure use a surprise health inspection!!! The employee I first said something to at checkout said I was the third person to complain about the deli today. She tried, her manager tried to get this to the attention of the store manager. They were REALLY concerned. Dustin, an assistant manager seemed equally concerned, but cowardly Kevin's action say all one needs to know about why his store is in such bad shape. He could probably care less, which explains why the employees and assist. managers tried so hard to get this to his attention. read more

The carts and hand baskets are filthy. There is no reason that the store porter can keep and eye on them and run the hand baskets through the washer daily. The Scanner Outers (they are not cashiers) stand around during slow periods showing off their pictures of grand knds to each other instead of sanitizing their work stations. When asked about the ingredients in the on site baked bread the so called baker acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. read more

A great place for one stop shopping. I've noticed quite an expansion in organic options over the last few years. Fred Meyer is the only grocery store in Redmond where you can buy general household items AND organic produce. They are always ready and willing to apply whatever coupons are available if you ask as well. I frequently use my shopping rewards to fill up my gas tank at the station for great price. My one complaint is the parking lot but it's to be expected when you're the best shopping center in town. read more

I don't know what has happened to the produce department. In the last weeks I have had tasteless grapes, tasteless cherries, the worst watermelon; woody and zero flavor, raspberries with NO sugar content, and it seems like the bananas are always really green lately. Not to mention nectarines and apricots that rated 1 or 2 out of ten. I used to count on pretty decent produce, but something has sure gone wrong in the past months. I'll be paying more at local fruit stands, but the flavor will be worth it. Hope you get it back together. read more

nice organic selection and health food section. in my case,care for their customers is lacking. I had a fall in the produce section due to their employee's negligence restocking the mushrooms. he left the plastic tray on the floor in the aisle way. coming around the corner the tray was out of my line of sight. I tripped and fell over the tray hurting my back. the Kroeger insurance man said they found no liability on their part. end of story. Their guy left the tray in the aisle - how is there no liability on their part? be careful in their store - they are not liable for damage to you caused by employees leaving boxes or inventory in the walking area or out of sight around a corner! read more

This grocery store is located on a confusing stretch of roadway, which is a little difficult to navigate and can be extremely difficult to find parking, including within a couple blocks. I probably parked two tenths a mile away and walked in to somewhat crazy hubbub and light chaos of people and stimuli. I had a difficult time finding stuff and felt overall, extremely overwhelmed by the people traffic. I would not recommend if you have anxiety in high traffic groceries, I would recommend Logan Market instead not as bottlenecked. read more

My wife and I shop there all the time. I have celiac disease and never find the kind of gluten free that I really like. I have located some that I do like and it is called Gluten Free All But Gluten out of Canada. Can you please start carrying it. I especially like the crème filled cakes. As a mom who frequently shops this store with an active toddler, I have to recognize the Redmond Freddy's team. Usually people working in this kind of a retail environment kind of have that zoned-out, "you're the 456th person I've helped today" look on their face, BUT I have noticed that the employees here consistently engage my son, smile, ask how we're doing, give a sticker, join the conversation, etc. Sure, we should all get this kind of customer service 100% of the time, but the reality is that it's just not the norm anymore in most businesses. Good job actively engaging the customer, Redmond Freddy's!!! You are SO much more pleasant than any of your competition. read more

After living around the country for the last several years, I was happy to be back where there was a Fred Meyer again. I love one-stop shopping and Freddy's is much more personal and higher quality than Wal-Mart. This Freddy's has a great natural foods and supplement section, a nice selection of furniture and decor items, and a nice deli and flower section. I would say they're a little on the small side for garden and home linens. They have great coupons and I love that they make them available in the store for you, but I have to say that some sections are shockingly overpriced and not sure why. Bought a car seat at Wal-Mart and then saw that it was literally twice as much at Freddy's. Also, husband went to buy standard pack of t-shirts and they were $36!!! Left them there and went to Wal-Mart where he got them for $10. I understand that Freddy's doesn't have the buying power of Wal-Mart and we still want to shop a local company when possible, but they need to do a little better on keeping their prices in line with the competition. I would happily pay a little more there but not 2-3 times as much. Other than that, I still like Freddy's and will shop there when possible - just have to be sure to watch the prices in some departments. read more
