This Fred Meyer never has anything in stock. Everything is hard to find and nothing is ever available. Today we went in and they were out of razor blades yogurt 1% milk bread and many fruits & vegetables. It's always worthless going I here. Safeway is much better! read more

Do not ever try to order furniture here. All the employees working in furniture dept are liars including their supervisor. I ordered sofa which they said will be delivered in 2 weeks . After 2 wk they said only half order is received either pick this order and go to other Fred Mayer which is 40 mile away to pick the rest or wait for another 2 wk. I opted to wait but my order was never delivered. All these employees were lying to me read more

This Fred Meyer location is always very orderly and well-stocked. They surprisingly have a good amount of vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options, having an entire section dedicated to it. They often have sales and discounted items. Their produce is typically good and fairly priced. read more

Shopped at this store since the day it opened, Not impressed with the changes they have made, especially at check out! They eliminated the 12 items or less section and replaced them with self checkout . I don't work there ! Then they blocked the cashier in and put a belt to run your groceries down after they are scanned and 90% of the time there is now one to bag groceries so the cashier after scanning everything has to do the bagging!Whoever thought these changes where a good idea needs to be fired. read more

I enjoy shopping at Fred Meyer but I was blown away today by such horrendously poor customer service by the front end manager I felt compelled to share. My wife and I stopped by for a few items. As we approached the check out lines we looked for the tell-tail lights that mean the line was open. We saw one and approached. The checker was at the cash register with her back to us. As we began to put our purchases on the conveyer the employee turned around with a closed sign in hand. She stepped out from behind cash register and approached us. I expected she would turn around and check us out then close her lane. Instead she continued to move toward us and told us, sorry, closed. She saw our eyes go to the lighted number next to the register. She looked and saw the light on. Again I expected she would return to the register and check us out. Wrong, she noticed it was on, said "oops, the light's on," then turned around, walked back and turned the light off. I thought this checker must be in some sort of hurry like late clocking out or possibly a very urgent bathroom break. Wrong again. As soon as she got the light turned off and the closed sign set in front of the conveyer belt she walked about 20 feet, turned around, folded her arms and just stood there. Yes, rather than ringing up a customer who entered the line prior to its closing, she hurriedly closed the lane so should could walk a few feet just to watch others work. Ms. Front End Supervisor, you should know others are watching you. From a customer's perspective, you are a poor representative of your employer. As a supervisor you are a terrible example for your subordinates. Fred Meyer - you could do so much better. read more

I would give this place negative stars if I could. This review is mostly about the pharmacy, but the service at the location overall is quite lackluster. The pharmacy at this location is a joke. We've been getting our prescriptions filled there since this location opened. I can't even count the number of times they've messed up in some way - the most common screw-up is our prescriptions mysteriously being removed from auto-refill with no plausible explanation from the pharmacy staff. So many needless hours spent waiting for refills that should have happened automatically. Either that or they refill old prescriptions when scrips for new doses have been sent in, or don't proactively contact doctor's offices for refill requests until you show up looking for the scrip (see above mysterious auto-refill removal). When a scrip is supposedly on auto-refill, you never get the calls or texts to let you know it's ready. The ONLY reason we still get our prescriptions filled here is for the fuel points and because we shop here, so it's convenient, and because of the quarterly rebate program. Oh, and because Walgreen's across the street doesn't accept Boeing insurance. At this point this has been happening for so many years that we're considering switching our scrips - and all of our shopping - to the Safeway across the street. They also like to aggressively feed you into the checkout lines. They have these PICs standing in the middle of the main aisle that spans the checkout lines. We've actually had someone take us to self-checkout and scan all our items through the self-checkout when we honestly had too many items to do that with. It takes so much longer to enter the bulk and produce codes, etc. If we'd wanted that, we would have done it ourselves. Perhaps they should think about what their customers want rather than trying to move them through the checkout lines like cattle. We've received crappy service at the customer service desk as well - having to purchase multiple money orders because they had some arbitrary limit, having to call someone for their credit card number so we could get a fair price on a return. Same goes for the jewelry department - the German lady has been particularly nasty to deal with. The only redeeming quality of this location is the nice, tall grey-haired gentleman in charge of the produce section. He's always happy to help and takes great pride in what he does. Like this Fred. Meyer and shop. Here even though we have a bigger Fred Meyer closer to us. I must confess the main reason is the Peet's Coffee, my husband loves it and therefor goes with me. Thank you for putting Peet's in the store wish all the Fred Meyers had Peet's. read more

Poor customer service at this store. I have had a few shopping experiences here at this location that were horrible due to the rudeness of the employees. Oh my... Esther in their deli is an absolute lifesaver. I ordered some food for a friend's babyshower (my one responsibility) and mistakenly set it for pick-up many days before the actual event. Oops! So when I showed up there was no food. Esther gave me some lighthearted ribbing and then told me not to worry. In 20 minutes, I came back and she had two beautiful trays of food, then she walked me to where the best crackers and hummus were to go with it all. I could not be more happy with the customer service there! read more

It is Fred Meyer. The best grocery store in Maple Valley. Staff here is great (except that one) and the fact that they have a lot if selection is nice. The management here stinks but it is okay because the products and rest of the staff are able to hold them up. I would give 4.5 stars if I could simply because of the management and the cleanliness if the store not being what it should be but I round up for it being the best choice in Maple Valley. read more

Love this location. The staff at their pharmacy is always helpful. Glenna recently really helped us out with an issue getting my husband's insulin. Sign up for the rewards card. Points add up fast and you get discounts on fuel. Service at the deli counter here is way better than the Covington location. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there is this one checker lady who is so rude and I have got her 3 times now. I tried going to a longer line to avoid her but a manager directed me to her shorter line. I didn't know how to refuse without sounding really rude. If it happens again I'm just going to have to be honest with them why I don't want her line. read more

This is a mixed review. I find the food to be of good quality, the produce fresh, the non grocery items to be reasonable, rather typical. But I take issue with their parking lot and how there are always carts everywhere. I don't know if they have a particularly disrespectful clientele or not enough cart gathers (either staff or stations), but it one of those things that compels me to shop at other stores. read more

This is a great "one stop shopping" store, it saves you from running to multiple stores to get everything you need. They have a large selection of items, especially the natural foods, cheeses, and bakery. It can be a bit pricier for some items, but worth the time savings. The only problem that I consistently have is not receiving a receipt in the self check out machines. I also appreciate receiving rebates and coupons for having a store rewards card. I tried to buy a Brita water filter system that was on sale for 17.49 from original price of 34.99, The clerk charged me twice for 34.99 and the grocery packing person told her about that, then she deleted one of them. I told her that the item was on sale for 17.49. She made calls to have a price check and no one responded, manager finally came over and told her to made another call, mean while she rang up price as 17.99, I told her that is was a little less than that. Finally well over 15 minutes the manager helped her clear the item out and give me the sale price. There was people in line with food items already on the belt and they had to wait. Might get a write up from them also. Store is usually a good place to usually shop at. Sales items needs to be put into computer, making it easier on those checkout clerks. This review is for the Floral Dept. I sat down with the head florist and planned everything out weeks in advance for my wedding flowers and paid everything in full beforehand. The morning I showed up to pick up flowers, they were not even out and ready-a lady had to pull them from the back, then she tried to charge me for them and didn't believe me when I told her I'd already paid! Luckily I kept all of my receipts and had them with me for proof. It was just not a great experience for the morning of my wedding. read more

I was in today to buy a few items and the clerk accidentally scanned one of my items twice. When I realized it was listed twice on the receipt and told her, she told me I could get it refunded at the customer service desk. The first lady at CS desk gave me a refund back on my card but I later saw it was for the wrong amount so I went back to the cs desk. This time, it was Kim and I told her what happened. I told her I added everything up and the amount refunded was wrong. Instead of trying to see if there was any merit to what I was saying, she kept arguing with me. I asked her to add everything up for herself but she refused. She acted really annoyed with me like I was wasting her time. After some back and forth with Kim, the first lady finally gave me back the difference. I'm not angry because I was charged twice and I'm not even angry because they gave me the wrong refund the first time, I'm just absolutely horrified by how I was treated by Kim when I was trying to get those errors corrected. My family and I shop there all the time because it's close and overall we've had good experiences at the store but today was the absolute WORST customer service experience. read more

My review only reflects the deli at this location, the rest of the store and staff is wonderful. I shop at this Freddie's daily since I work in the same parking lot, and without fail every time I decide to try the deli I have a horrible experience. The staff has major attitude, even when I order off their menu, they will snap at me telling me they do t have it, its not in the case so I should know better not to order it. I have also sat and waited to be helped for over ten minutes while they pretend to be busy. I'm just extremely baffled by their customer service, I work in retail as well and I wouldn't dream of treating customers so poorly. I like this store. Friendly checkers. My complaint is not with the store but with the fact that there are little to no coupons in the paper anymore. I am really mad right now. I just got home from Fred Meyer in Maple Valley, and found my groceries a mess! My hamburger buns were smashed in the bottom of a bag with all my frozen items on top of them, a container of cherry tomatoes was upside down in the bottom of another bag, with packets of liquid taco seasoning on top of them, and boxed items on top of all that. Fortunately, the tomatoes weren't ruined and the seasonings hadn't split open. Also, food items were bagged with cleaning supplies. Fred Meyer may have had a good idea in adding courtesy clerks to bag groceries, but their implementation is poor. Obviously, there has been no training. This is simply poor management. This isn't the first incident either. Since courtesy clerks have been added, I regularly have to rebag groceries when I get to the car, because they are spilling out of the bags they were tossed into. If this continues, I'm finished shopping at Fred Meyer stores. read more

I love the pharmacy people, they are so friendly with me and my kids, I like their nutrition section, April is always so helpful there. Their Deli department makes the life of a busy mom easy. I like the clothing selections from latest, young to older styles. Great purse selections. I love the organic section and wish it was even larger. They don't carry Guittard chocolate for cooking which I'm bummed. I've asked them to carry it so that I'm not going to Safeway for them. That request was months ago. It is a higher quality chocolate...why would that matter. Decent selection of cosmetics. I'm always getting something in cosmetics so the more you carry the better. I love Maybelline, Milani, Rimmell, and Wet & Wild. Overall, the staff is nice, with the exception of the cheese gal by the wine isle. I asked where I could find a certain cheese that I'm not familiar with, and she spoke to me very uncourteous. So I couldn't help but walk away saying, excuse me for bothering you. read more

My FM is in Port Orchard, WA. It is great but the two things I dislike most are that they stopped selling the Gouda Cheese I liked and went to Boars Head-YUCK! And they don't carry a diced/cubed ham (as Walmart does!). Unfortunately I don't know the brand cheese it was and have been completely unable to locate any. BRING IT BACK!!!!! read more
