First time ordering from here and it could have gone better. I was put on hold for a bit but I'm assuming cause they were busy. So that is a good thing! The man who took my order was very helpful and patient! When it was my first time ordering from there so I of course had to make sure my order was done correctly lol. There wasn't a minimum when ordering so I was happy about that! I decided to get a pepperoni slice and a grilled chicken cutlet on a hero with mayo, lettuce and tomato. When I came downstairs to the building door I see that my delivery driver was still in his car and I had to walk over to him and ask him if he was gonna come outside! It def. wasn't his first time doing that because he also did it when I ordered for delivery another time. Although I was very unhappy with the delivery customer service and my cold pepperoni slice! The slice still tasted good and I don't even like cold pizza so that says a lot! Also their chicken cutlet hero's are very juicy and fulfilling! We were looking for some late night pizza and this place definitely hit the spot! It's located in the middle of the port area so it's industrial and pretty safe. There's truckers and cops around so for the most part everyone was blue collar folks. The service was quick and friendly. Giant slices toasted perfectly. Soundview has always needed a worthy Pizza spot. I mean...there's one close to Mom's, but it lacks majorly and doesn't do much for me. So when Fratilli's popped up in my local Yelp search, in I went. Hunts Point isn't far from Soundview, in fact- it's really the next section of The Bronx heading south. These guys are alone in the deeper side of all the Auto Body Shops in the Hunts Point hub. And from what I noticed driving by, didn't see any other Pizza shop in the area. Place is big with woods, lots of seating, refrigerators off to the left, a smaller glass ice cream freezer on right and front counter- with Pies waiting...just waiting to be heated- as soon as you head in. Really simple menu overhead: small and large Pies, square, white, Veggie slice or "special" pies with standard toppings, Salads and a few other things. Plain slice for me, Pepperoni for Mom and a Snapple to share. That's it! Mom's pepperoni slice gets props according to her, but if you're making a trip to Hunts Point or swerving off the Bruckner Expressway to hit it, you're grabbing a plain slice (in my opinion)--it wasn't too greasy, it was crispy but still bendable, surprisingly thin and that classic (kind of) bright orange you get when that sauce-and-cheese marriage happens. The crust was nice and soft, and the toppings were substantial pieces of vegetables and meat. Combined with a tasty sauce. The staff was patient and respectful. This is a fairly decent pizzeria in way down towards the end of Hunt Point! My co-workers and I randomly come for lunch sometimes since we work in the area. It is not fancy but the food is decent and pretty filling. The people who work here are always nice, friendly and I love their "The Bronx" shirts lol. I suggest any pizza, their salads and their eggplant parm hero. I know this place is really random and in the middle of a neighborhood most wouldn't venture to but it's kinda worth it! Finally found authetic italian food in Hunts Point. Spicy wing great, pizza amazing, stuffed sheels and lasagne.

Finally got to try a broccoli rabe slice, although it was on the round pie instead of a Grandma, which is what they do best. The broccoli rabe was really well cooked, with just the right amount of bitterness. It was on top of a regular slice, which has decent cheese and legitimately good sauce in its own right, and was balanced by a little parmesean cheese. The only problems I had were that the crust could be a little more well done, and that by the time it got delivered it wasn't as hot as it should've been. However, the pizza is solid and--in my not so humble opinion--better and more satisfyinhg than a lot of hyped places in much more accessible areas of the city. read more

Honestly the worst Chicken Caesar salad I've ever had. Totally dry, nothing but lettuce and chicken, and what tasted like stale croutons. To top it off my garlic knots tasted like they came right from the fridge. I call to see if maybe they could just send some dressing, their response "you could bring the salad back." I'm new to the area so this was my first time ordering pizza. The man taking my order was rude and rushed me, he said to give it about 30 min to be delivered. The pizza arrived 45 minutes later and my boyfriend had to walk 4 houses up to get it while the delivery guy sat in his car. The pizza was laying on the passenger seat not in the warmer bag. When we opened the pizza it room temperature. I had to give it to my kids because they were hungry. I called back to make a complaint and they were rude. They said all they could do was pick it back up, put it in the oven, and send it again. I have my own oven so that didn't make sense. The pizza was pretty good after I heated it up.
