My chicken is always cooked crisp to a T. And let's talk about that because nothing--and I mean nothing--is worse than slimy chicken. I always ask for my wings well done, and they get it right every single time. Crispy, cooked through, no questions asked. The sauce distribution? Always on point. Never dry, never drowning--just right. And the fries? When I ask for them well done, they actually come well done. No soft, undercooked fries over here. They're always crispy and exactly how I want them. I'm constantly raving about this Wingstop, and I'll continue to rave about this Wingstop because they're consistent. And consistency matters. Especially when that favorite time of the month comes around (the girls who get it, get it), Wingstop is one of my cravings every single time. It never disappoints, and it always hits the spot. If you're near this location, trust me--you're good. This Wingstop understands the assignment.

Both very nice and crispy and satisfying. Also bursting with flavor. Hand cut fries are also a delight. They are crispy and heavily seasoned. Some may say too salty but I disagree, I think it is just enough The only gripe I have about this place is that they take forever. The other day I came in and waited nearly an hour for my order. I got places to be and things to do! If you come, I suggest you order ahead of time. otherwise you'll have to wait.

Let me tell you something right now--this is some of the BEST Dominican fried chicken I have ever…read morehad. And I don't say that lightly. For the longest time, I used to wonder why Equis Pica Pollo was always so crowded. And I mean ALWAYS. From open to close. People double-parking, triple-parking, hopping out of Ubers and Lyfts just to grab chicken. Me and my mom used to look at each other like, what is the hype?? You smell the food before you even see the place--the seasoning be calling you--but still, I took forever to actually go try it. Mind you, it's in the Bronx, and when I'm up there I'm always like "let me venture," but somehow I kept skipping it. Until one day my mom went and brought some home and said, "You HAVE to try this chicken. I see why people are addicted." Baby... she was NOT lying. This chicken is so crispy, so juicy, my mouth is literally watering just thinking about it. The seasoning is not just on the skin--it's in the MEAT. That's how you know it's done right. It's always fresh, always crunchy, golden brown, tender, and the pieces are a GOOD size. I usually get the four-piece, and honestly? That's a two-day meal. It comes with tostones or fries, but let's be real--the Spanish in me says tostones, always. And these tostones are fried perfectly. Not too hard, not soggy, not overdone--just right. And here's the real test: when you put the chicken in the fridge and reheat it in the oven the next day? It comes back crispy like it just came out fresh. That alone deserves an award. Now you already know I'm dressing my plate the old-school way--hot sauce, ketchup, salt on the tostones, squeeze of lime or lemon. That's how I do it. They also have chofan (Dominican fried rice), and that thing is loaded with EVERYTHING. All the fixings. I tried it and it was delicious too. No complaints. Ever. I am officially one of those people now. Standing in line. Waiting for the fresh batch to come out. I don't care. This chicken is worth it. If you haven't tried Equis Pica pollo yet, GO. If you think you know fried chicken, go test your theory here. And then come back and tell me what you thought--because when you know fried chicken, you KNOW fried chicken... and this one? This one is IT.

Pollo is always on point, it's also so convenient for, because it definitely be packed so I usually…read moreorder through UberEats, or call in!

I decided to try food from Gallego after hearing glowing reviews from friends and co-workers…read more Gallego is near one of my job locations and they're open 24/7. I was really excited by the selections as soon as I arrived. It was just after 10pm on a Sunday. So many choices-salmon, escoveitch seafood, fried fish, seafood rice etc. I ordered fried, white fish and seafood rice to go. The portions were generous and the rice was filled with all the right ingredients. The taste though??? Everything tasted like it had been sitting in warming trays for 24 hrs. Rice and fish were really dried out. Hot sauce and tartar sauce (from fish market on the corner) didn't help to make it taste any better. I'd go back again, earlier in the day when the food trays are being replenished. I would probably go for made to order seafood, instead of the the food that's just sitting. Gallego wasn't a total NO. A second chance is possible.

Very fresh... very good, served in a bowl on top of some chopped lettuce with a slice of lime. Some of the workers here don't really speak any English... but there was someone here who was able to help me even though my Spanish kind of sucks. A delivery of food from one of the restaurant's vendors was coming in while I was standing at the counter to order, and I had to keep moving out of the guy's way as he went in and out of the store with the hand truck. A bit of a pain, but I forgive them since they've got a fully functional and clean All-Gender Bathroom. The stuff here ain't cheap, but it's quality.
