Everyone is very friendly and the food is fresh every day at anytime. I take a bus to go and eat there and I am never disappointed. The store is clean and your food is brought to you once you place your order and sit and that's more than I've seen at bigger brands. I encourage everyone to go and try their menu and you won't be disappointed. Bring real utensils because real food requires something stronger than plastic so you can get the full experience which is what I do read more

Service is horrible. Food is not very tasty. The workers seem upset they have to fulfill an order to the specifications of a customer. Definitely selling leftover food from the day before. Specifically order a steak n cheese w salt nd pepper bread toasted light mayo. First thing the cook does is slam 2 patties for my hero and throw Sazon on it. When I call it to his attention he take the two patties off the grill (with the intention of using them for another order) goes to the freezer and now only puts 1 patty on a hero. Needless to say why that was done. This food will make you sick and this establishment is easily awaiting a lawsuit read more

You safed the day again these kids come in here starving. They all shouted Mario's and I was right on it without hesitation. Thank you for putting up with me and my six children. A tossed salad with veggie and plain pizza pies always hits the spot in a bind. Omg and the deliver nothing but gracious and patient. I wish I had tipped more but with six kids someone should be tipping me. Lol Again read more

I go to this pizza shop because I always felt like they have the best pizza, in my opinion, on this side of the Bronx. So I decided to purchase the shrimp Parmesan with spaghetti and marinara sauce for my mom because that is her favorite and I didn't want to have to go all the way across town to Giovanni's. We get back and look at the food and I noticed that it was not spaghetti but Penne pasta. I called them back explaining to them the mixup and the guy on the telephone tells me that I can bring it back and he can make me some spaghetti on the side. I told him that is not the same, that is not what I ordered. so he says I can bring it there and they can just transfer it over or I can transfer it over on top of the spaghetti. I told him, no, I would bring it back and he would make me a whole new dish. He tells me to hold on twice and ultimately asked me did I open it. I returned it and I think they put the shrimp from the other meal "under" my spaghetti, marinara sauce on top of the spaghetti, packaged it and gave it to me. By the time I got to my car, the marinara sauce had spilled on the bottom of the bag, out onto my coat. I tried to wipe it off and it also spilled onto the side of my car doors. Another restaurant would have just made a totally new meal, not trying to do the bait and switch on you. Poor service. read more

Mario's Pizza II - Shrimp Parmesan with Watery marinara sauce - Pizza Near Me - Bronx, New York

The food is great, they make it pretty quick but they are kinda on the expensive side, at least to me. I usually pay $2.50-$3 for a pizza in the heights and they charge like $4-5 but the food taste good so its worth it. I always get the buffalo chicken pizza and garlic knots. They also have this appetizer called "Zeppoles" it's amazing. The service is good, depending on who's working the counter. They take a while to get to you, even when you're literally the only one there and they're not busy.. the lady that works there has a attitude and is just bad with customer service overall, she doesn't say hi, how are you, you're welcome, thank you, have a nice day, etc. you know the basics.. I'm not that mad about it but when I say "thank you, have a good afternoon" I expect a " you're welcome have a nice day, enjoy" or something like that read more

Sadly, they jacked up the prices recently, since my last order even. I had given them a decent review in the past because the pizza is generally always very good, and they're on all the apps I like to use, but at the same time, it was always just "NYC amazingly average pizza " good. Which is good, don't get me wrong, but not $18 a pie good. $18 a pie is some Italian restaurant pricing, not the price point for a shop in one of the poorest communities in America pricing. This is what happens when you're pretty much the only pizza shop in the area, there's no competition, so you can make dickhead moves like price gouge for simple shit and people have no choice but to deal with it. These guys have switched owners a few times since I've been going here and the price has gone up from $10 to $18 in less than a decade. Insane. Sorry guys, but until you put the customer and community first, I'll be taking my business to any number of pizza shops in the city who aren't charging Manhattan prices for average pizza. read more

Best in the area. The serve more than pizza. The also deliver. They have all types of pizza. And you can request any topping for an added fee. read more

I give them 2 stars. Customer service is terrible! No acknowledgment to customer. No pleasantries. Not even a "thank you." I ordered a gyro. I must say that it was good, however, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LAMB? They charge you $7.00 for pita bread, lettuce, onions, tomatoes and white sauce. I was so disappointed. NEVER will I go there AGAIN! You want a GOOD gyro with A LOT OF MEAT, and not to mention good customer service, go to JIMBOS on 163rd st. The treat you good, and you will not be disappointed. read more

No frills kinda place. They have everything from gyro's, steak & cheese hero's to pizza slices & pies. I've noticed a lot of the locals come by here to grab a slice or two during the lunch hour. I've personally tried their hero and gyros , only because I walk in with the intent to get a slice but get a little mesmerized when I see the guy in the back grill making other people's sandwiches. The gyro is about $7 and the hero is about $8 - both pretty decent size and filling. So walk in, expect no fancy service, some reggaeton on the speakers & a genuinely nice family-run business. read more

The pizza at this place is ok, not the best but not the worst. However, the staff is disgusting. Extremely rude. There's been many times where I've ignored their nasty attitude and let it slide but no one wants to go order food and have such an unpleasant experience, except for this one guy I think he's African American I'm not sure, but he's nice, he tries to accommodate customers and help me out after dealing with a rude one. read more

Their chicken roll is the tastiest thing they have !! Such a good solid chicken roll, the dough is fresh the cheese is tasty and the chicken delicious. They don't come upstairs when ordering delivery which can be a bit annoying if you're expecting it. read more

Came here after work before taking the 1.5hr subway ride home. Ordered a beef patty with cheese. Pizza man warmed it up for me and asked if I wanted any spices on it before closing it up. Best beef patty I ever had. Beef was perfectly seasoned, crust flaky, and you can't really mess up melted cheese, which was I believe mozzarella. Didn't try the pizza but the slices looked large and well made. read more

I think this is the Best pizza in the Hunts point area! It's fresh as can be. I dined in and I'm glad that I did. Reading other reviews I see an issue with deliveries being on time. Honestly I can see that it's a small staff from what I can tell. I would definitely recommend this one. read more

First Mexican restauran that I really liked the food, I'm very picky with some stuff, but their quesadillas are amazing. Adding the guacamole .. perfection. I decided to try their grilled chicken caesar salad because their pizza is so good I loved it came with a gyro but the chicken was old and hard. It was not white more like gray. I was so dissapointed. I decided to try the crispy chicken and it was worse. It was like a cut up piece of chicken patty it was so disguisting. I DO NOT recommend salads here but their pizza is really good. read more

I was starving, so it was something to eat, but it's like Domino's, not NY style pizza. Waaaay too doughy.

Ordered this on the whim. I found it onIine, it was close by where I worked. I ordered nachos for lunch with a homemade lemonade. Everything was fresh and delicious. Delivery time was quick. read more

Food was okay but my pizza looked like slices were put together to make a pie, I rather have my pizza made and cut from scratch.

Not only are they always on point with the delivery, but the food comes hot and ready to eat. You can tell they use great products because the pizza is always fresh and cheesy! Definitely our favorite pizza spot this side of the Bronx and we order form here whenever we have family or friends in town. Don't even wait. Just put the order in now! read more

This place has some of the best Pizza in the Bronx! It's a line counter with back sitting, so it's very small. However, their food packs a huge bite. The menu is very similar to a small diner. But, the best thing on the menu is the pizza! After the pizza I would say the wings and gyros are second. Great cheesy freshly made pizza! read more

Yummy, delicious pizza. I just stumbled upon this place. Now its a family favorite. The staff is very pleasant and service is good

I ordered here tonight for pick up when we arrived the girl said she didn't know what happened to the order, had zero explanation as to why my food wasn't ready when her own co workers told her they just handed her my order. After arguing with her I asked how long it would take for another one she told me 10 Minutes I told her to put the order in and that i will be waiting in the car. I come back and once again ORDER NOT READY tells me all I did was walk out when that was not what I did at all. Even the person who was with me told her that I asked for the order and she wanted to keep telling me I was wrong. What kind of customer service is this? I've ordered here many times in the past maybe had a minor problem here and there but nothing like this. I am very disappointed and disgusted by the way your employee treats your customers and their food. I will not be back. read more

If I could choose ZERO stars I would. Idk who the person in charge is but they need to fire the person who is in charge while they aren't there. They have no clue what customer service means and how to Speak with customers. Not only did I hear them speak about me and complain about me in Spanish (I speak Spanish) he had the audacity to tell me to pick my refund up at the restaurant. I placed an online order. Ridiculous. My order was delivered to another apartment in my building and it took me to ask for my money back for him to even apologize and get annoyed at me because I was asking about my order when it wasnt HIS fault that the mistake was made. (His statement) I wish I could review the food. But if you wish to try it, it's best you visit the restaurant because that's where they'll tell u to go to anyway. read more

Really good food but very unprofessional when calling the restaurant. If you are accepting orders during lunch hours as a business you should be prepared with delivery services. It's unacceptable that a customer is providing them close to $100 in one order and it's a two hour wait. If your making that kind of money easily within one customer there shouldn't be a storage of staff. read more
