I thought they would steam clean the spots but all they did was use a spray bottle and towel to try to touch up. Seemed very lazy way to me like they didn't want to drag out the equipment again. I also noticed the entry to the bedrooms did not come clean and nobody uses them. I will be trying somewhere else next time. Sorry

I left a message with the business and got a call back right away from the owner Zach Culley and got on their schedule. He contacted me the day of letting me know he was on his way arriving on time. My first call went to voicemail, and he returned my call while I was leaving a voicemail message. On March 24, 2026, Zach and Craig came to our 1850 sf home to clean all the carpeting. They arrived on time and got right to work, bringing in their equipment carefully and putting corner guards in place throughout the house. One of the first things I noticed was the pleasant scent - it is very light and does not smell like chemicals. My usual preference is for no scent, but I found myself preferring this delicate scent. They were efficient and quick (but not too quick!), and the carpets looked very clean when they were through. The price is one of the most reasonable I have found in Reno and includes a military discount (thank you, Zach, for your patriotism!). Fresh Start is fairly new to our area, but not new to the business of cleaning flooring. We look forward to trying their tile cleaning service next. If you need your carpets cleaned, I feel confident recommending Fresh Start Carpet Care.

No extra charges to move the dryer out and back in. They had a special going so I figured I would give them a try. They came equipped to do the job and it only took half and hour. Then even gave us a chance to run to get a new dryer vent hose and they put it on. The other one was crimped bad and so the dryer was not getting much airflow. Glad we got it cleaned out and we saw a photo of the clean vent. With lint in the vent or hose you can get a fire. I would recommend this company. They do a lot of other cleaning and restoration work. I only tried them for the dryer vent cleaning but would try them again on other jobs. Give them a call.

This review is long overdue - VODA came in and completely saved us during a really stressful…read moresituation with a rental property. They caught discrepancies, documented everything for us, and were incredibly thorough and professional every step of the way, even when it would've been easier to not deal with the mess our rental property was in. Christian specifically went so far above and beyond it's honestly hard to put into words. He was attentive, honest, and clearly cared about doing right by us, not just getting the job done. He's the kind of person you wish every contractor could be. We dealt with a lot of headaches on this restoration issue that had nothing to do with VODA, and they were an absolute lifeline through all of it. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you!
