Daniel did a wonderful job on our off white carpet through out the house and traffic areas. We had a few coffee stains in our home office and paint and colored chaulk stains in our craft room. Looks good as new. Courteous and hard working. read more

I have nothing but rave reviews for Tye at A-1 Carpet Masters; the service was exceptional. My carpets had not been cleaned in a while, and there were stains in some areas that previous cleaning companies couldn't remove. I believed they were beyond saving. However, Tye worked miracles and made them look fantastic, especially considering they are 24 years old. I wouldn't think of hiring any other carpet cleaning service. read more

Great customer service and attention to detail. Tye and his team removed some funky mystery stains in a home we are selling- I will hire them again! read more

Tye did a wonderful job on our carpet that is over 30 years old. He kept us updated on his arrival, he provided an estimate of the work involved....which was very reasonable. He is a professional and knowledgeable on the current methods of carpet cleaning concerning animals. I am so happy we went with Tye. You will be too!! Thanks again, Tye!!! read more

I would trust Tye with anything, my house, my pets and definitely my carpet! I was blown away with the results. Our carpet looked new though it is probably original to the house and decades old- I couldn't believe it! Tye does high quality work at a fair price and clearly cares for all of his customers. This is so hard to find these days. Tye is a true gem, highly recommend! read more

We used A-1 a few times, we have always had great service, very respectful of walls and furniture. This last time, I had some major pet stains and I was a little sticker shocked by the additional cost, but I went ahead and did the additional cleaning. It was well worth the money, carpet looks new and there is no longer an odor. I highly recommend A-1!!! read more

The guys did a good job thank you! They showed up on time they were efficient, but yet performed quality work ethics . My carpet looks new again ! read more

Great quality work, plus communication and trustworthiness that really impressed me! I was moving out of a rented house that I'd been in for 5 years in Grass Valley, and realized at the last minute that the pet addendum of my rental agreement required me to get a UV inspection of the carpet, and to have it professionally cleaned. I called A-1 Carpet Masters, certain that they wouldn't be able to get it done in the week I had left before I was due to move out. Tye called me right back, was incredibly helpful and positive, and was able to fit the inspection and cleaning in within the week. The quality of his work is top-notch - the carpets ended up looking cleaner than I ever dared to hope. But that kind of work would usually only earn 4 stars from me - it was the way that Tye communicated, followed up with me, and was optimistic about what he could achieve without over-promising that really impressed me, and definitely deserves the full 5 stars. Tye is a great small-business owner, and I would recommend him to anyone needing carpet cleaning or any of the other services that A-1 offers. read more

What a great service. I was greatly impressed by their response rate and their work ethic.

Wow! I have not done carpet cleaning before, and I didn't know this level of clean was possible. Thanks Liam and A-1 for getting out almost every stain and spot in my old, grungy carpets including pet stains and odors. The only stain that wasn't 100% removed was red acrylic paint which I didn't think could be removed at all and they got 90% out. Amazing! I also appreciated they took the time to explain the less chemical options to me as I'm pregnant and wanted the greener option. Price for 3 br home seemed very fair and they gave the price before starting - no surprises. Highly recommended. read more

This business is a local gem. Family-owned, sweetest folks you ever met. Tye (owner) and Liam transformed our old carpets and gave us many more years of use. They dealt with our gross stairs beautifully. They had solutions for trouble spots... Just incredible customer service, professionalism and crazily affordable. I cannot say enough good things about this crew! Do not call any other carpet biz, these folks are the real deal. If read more

We highly recommend A-1 Carpet Masters for carpet cleaning. The owner, Tye called back the same day I left a message and was very accommodating. What a nice guy! He sent Liam to clean our carpets about a week later. Our carpets are probably over 20 years old ... long overdue for new carpets. They are light beige carpets so the traffic areas over time were soiled to say the least. We have only been in our house 5 years and thought this was the year for new carpets but why not try to clean one more time. Liam worked magic to say the least. He is such a hard worker and really took care of the traffic areas. We couldn't be happier. We can wait at least one more year ... who knows... maybe more. Thank you Tye for a great carpet cleaning company and for teaching Liam all you know. Great service...10 plus stars!!! read more

Tye came out and did a great job on our carpets. And more importantly trustworthy. What I appreciate most is no upselling/bait and switch. I will use Tye/A-1 for any future needs. read more

So excited about finding Ty and his wonderful carpet cleaning business. He came through like a champ, did an excellent job on a rental carpet that is almost seven years old and made it look great, even re-stretched the carpet and pulled some wrinkles out. He was very flexible and accommodating when we had to change dates, also very nice and understanding of the problems landlords have to deal with sometimes. I would highly recommend Ty and his services whether for your rentals or your personal residence! read more

Ashbel and his team are great... reliable, good service and I highly recommend him for your carpet cleaning needs. My rugs look great!

Thank you Tye for coming back to correct an issue we had! Once again I would absolutely recommend A-1 Carpet Masters. Very friendly and professional and stands by their work read more

I never hire a carpet cleaner before, I hired A-1 after talking to Tye, he seemed smart, friendly and trustworthy, it was a bit of a challenge to schedule as he was booked out a couple weeks. Tye was great, he got all the tough stains out and even came back a few days later to give a mystery stain a second shot. I was very happy with how everything turned out. I will hire A-1 again and recommend them absolutely. read more

Liam came out today and did an awesome job of cleaning my carpets. I usually have another company clean my carpets annually but they were to busy and I'm actually glad. Liam got out some stains my regular guys were not able to do in the past. I have found a new carpet cleaning company and would recommend them to anyone. Reasonable rates and very professional, highly recommend. read more

These guys do an exceptional job. We had them do "move out" cleaning when we vacated our rental apt, and "move in" cleaning when we moved into our new house a month later. Both guys (Tye did the house) were very courteous and did an awesome job - you can see the care they take when doing their work, they do not cut corners. The carpet in the house is light colored and at least a decade old so I wasn't too optimistic, but it looked so good after the cleaning that I'm no longer considering replacing the carpet. Very high quality business and so worth the money. read more

Liam came out today to clean area rugs and couch and loveseats. As usual, the service was excellent and Liam is very efficient and polite. I have used their services for quite a few years, and they never disappoint. read more

We requested bids from 3 businesses. Tye communicated well, answering questions and provided a free estimate on the phone. After we had to cancel our first appt. due to a PSPS outage, he stopped by to checkup after we called to cancel. We rescheduled, and he came on time and did a great job! We were surprised our tile came so clean! We'll call him sooner next time. Thank you, Tye. read more

I cannot begin to express my complete satisfaction with A-1 Carpet Masters! From the moment I first spoke with them to the subsequent cleanings, I found them friendly, very professional, patient and unbelievably customer supportive . . . truly legendary customer service. They quoted me over the phone and were very patient with some issues we had the day of the cleaning. They did a very thorough job and adjusted accordingly to meet our needs. I called them back for a subsequent cleaning, something we could not get done on the previous visit, and they went out of their way to make a tough situation perfectly right. They receive my highest recommendation . . . no question. In fact, we set them up for an automatic yearly cleaning! Our sincere thanks to everyone at A-1, and it is our true delight to share our experience with all of you! read more

Very impressed with A-1 Carpet Masters. I called last week..very quick on getting back to me....gave me a quote over the phone. Landon showed up right on time this morning...very pleasant and did a great job. And..my bill came to less than the quote! I will definitely use them again. read more

We were searching for a carpet cleaner with exceptional service and the ability to do a good job with eco-friendly products. These guys didn't disappoint. They used a mild detergent on the carpets, were extremely pleasant and helpful on the phone and in person, arrived promptly and worked miracles on our graying carpet. I'm so happy to have our beautiful white carpets back! Their pricing was also more competitive than two other cleaners we contacted. We'll definitely call them again--should mention they were happy to do any size job even just the high-traffic spots and would come out again just to do those if we wanted. read more

Local company Grass Valley. Great customer service. Will do a REALLY GOOD job. Ty was great on the phone when I set up the appointment, and came out himself to do the job. Took the 22 year old carpet in the bedroom and made it look like new. Cannot recommend highly enough!!! read more

We've only used Chem Dry in Grass Valley over the past several years. After a not so good experience with Chem Dry, we decided to go looking elsewhere. We found 2 companies on yelp that seemed worthy. We decided on A1. They got us in within a weeks time. They called and told me exactly what time he was coming. The 2 gentleman were great and did a thorough job. They took nearly 2 hours and their pricing was comparable if not better than other companies. They even fixed an issue with tearing in our carpet. Really nice guys that talk to you and let you know exactly whats going on...I like that. Anyhow, we look forward to using them again next year when we get our carpets cleaned again....Thanks A-1 read more

Perfect transaction in every way with A-1! My ivory-colored wool carpet looks beautiful. It was a big, difficult job with more than 30 stairs in a very large home. The work was done by Tye, a very professional, hard-working and very nice young man. I highly recommend this business. You will not be disappointed. Kudos to Tye! read more

We had Tye clean and stretch our living room carpet. From the moment we made the appointment Tye could not have been more attentive. He called to confirm the appointment both a few days prior and the day of. He did a fabulous job both stretching and cleaning the carpet. It looks and smells so clean. Highest recommendation from very satisfied customers. read more

This is by far the best carpet cleaning company in town. I've been using them for several years. Tye is very professional and always shows up on time with a friendly attitude. He also takes the time to go over any concerns and is never pushy with other services they provide. They remove stains that I thought were never going away. They also showed me what they can do with tile floors...AMAZING! I will be trying this next time because my floor looked brand new. Always reasonably priced too. Highly recommend business, you won't be disappointed. UPDATE! I tried their tile/slate floor cleaning, which also cleans the grout! My entire kitchen is white slate and white grout. I can't believe the difference. Now all my floors look new. This is an awesome service. Who wants to get on their hands and knees to scrub grout...not me! Tai, you amazed me yet again! Thank you!! Customer for life! read more

When I requested an estimate via Yelp, Tye was the only one who didn't just say "call me". When I did get around to speaking with him, he promptly sent someone out to give me a quote. Tye did a fantastic job on my carpets and rugs (I had no idea they were that dirty!), making sure to meet my limited time schedule. I will definitely use them again - highly recommend! read more

Excellent, professional, and trustworthy. I have used A1 a few times now since we have off-white carpet, four kids, three dogs and we live in Grass Valley (red dirt and yellow pollen everywhere!) I have used a couple other services and I have rented rug-doctors many times but nothing else has gotten the carpets as clean and fresh smelling (especially after puppy training) as the friendly guys at A1. The last time we used them we gave them the keys to our house and left on vacation. We came back to carpets that looked like new! read more
