An…read moreunclaimed business (meaning they don't care at all for reputation and their service quality) and 2. Only has bad reviews with the exception of the one Karen's 5 stars. Only a dusty Karen would give this place a good review. Though I'm absolutely certain that they are effective in picking up cars, I have serious doubts about what kind of business they run here. I made a mistake in parking and I got my car towed so I ended up at the lot to find that the rules were strange- if you pay in cash, they just need your ID but if you pay with a card, they ask for proof of registration and insurance, which makes zero sense aside from the fact that they just want cash transactions. However, they don't offer any change and I didn't see an ATM on site anywhere. So, they'll happily take your money but don't have change so you can only give them more of your money. They are not open on the weekends- except for Saturday by appointment only and there's a higher charge for getting your car out on Saturday. If you need your car on Sunday, you're screwed. The whole business seems to be designed to be as unhelpful as possible. The place itself is a dump. The building looks beat up and dirty. The carpet on the place looks like it's never been changed and everything about the place looks like a front for a shady operation. Busted cars parked outside the office entryway, busted cars in the parking area and the presence of the cops at my arrival only add to the distinct air of crooked business that this place has on it. The person at the window was nice enough and said he had just started working there. Which I found interesting because he's probably the only new "thing" this place has seen for a long time. Overall, I'm glad my experience with them was short and to the point, but I'm not at all surprised by the allegations made against this place. They have every sign of being shady and I personally hope to never have to pick up my car from this shady spot in the future. I'd recommend getting under your car to double check that nothing is damaged and potentially having your car looked at for signs of tampering or swapped parts.

A security guard from one of the stores on site personally witnessed my vehicle and confirmed I was parked less than 40 minutes, and informed me that this towing practice is frequently misapplied. This further confirms that the tow was unlawful. Under California Vehicle Code §22658, towing a legally parked vehicle is illegal. I request a full refund of all towing and storage fees immediately. If this matter is not resolved within 7 business days, I will pursue all available remedies, including filing a claim in small claims court.
