I needed my car towed to my mechanic. It is a low car with a manual transmission, I was concerned about the driver being careful with it. Victor called to let me know he was on his way and was there shortly after. I didn't want the car to idle too long as it was a cooling issue. He fired the car up and quickly got it lined and stacked pieces of wood he had to make the loading of my car easier (the front end needs to be lifted to clear the lip of the tow truck) and promptly got it on the the flat bed. Another thing he did that impressed was the fact he put towels under the straps that go through the wheels to prevent scratching. Fast, courteous and knowledgable, he did a great job. My shop offers this service to its clients as a courtesy, he's does a good job! read more

I called Victor the day of the Eaton fire in Altadena to flatbed my daughter's prized 1958 Impala convertible to a safe location. We were engulfed in smoke, high winds, and our neighborhood was on fire! Victor got past the barricades, braved the smoke, high winds, and flames to pick up the car! I called him 2 days in advance meaning Tuesday and booked him for Thursday. He said he'll be there 9:30 in the morning. Then Thursday morning I texted him to confirm, he texted back and said it will be more like 10:30. I said fine, he shows up at 11 with a chip on his shoulder, and when I told him to looked at the clock he says "what you wanna cancel" I said no I'm just wondering why your here at 11 when I originally booked you for 9:30? He says "fine get somebody else to do it" and just drives off. I can't believe the nerve on this guy. Why somebody would give this guy any business is beyond me. He's such a jerk! read more

December 2021 5 stars, simply the BEST. My parents are Pasadena seniors and my Dad's car broke down in Los Angeles. At 5pm, as it's getting dark, cold, and dangerous, I get this news, find out that AAA never came to pick him up (4+ hr wait, multiple calls), and his cell phone battery is dying. Of course, I was hysterical and I called a friend who directed me to RUZO'S TOWING. Victor was calm and kind, accepting a job that took him far beyond Pasadena in rush hour traffic. He called me every step of the way - on the way, once he arrived, when he got back to the house. He even guided the car down a tricky driveway and into the garage, saving my parents the hassle. I highly recommend Ruzo's towing. I was referred by a mechanic friend who is extremely trustworthy, so I knew i could count on Ruzo. My truck was stuck in my garage which has ceilings too low for any tow truck. I didn't know this until Ruzo arrived. Instead of turning me away, he had me sit in my car, put it in neutral and proceeded to push my truck out of my parking spot, down the driveway and up the garage entry ramp. Keep in mind, my car stalled the day before and the security guard, my sister and I had a hard time moving it one foot. He got my car strapped in and dropped off to my mechanic friend... literally saving my day! I needed a tow again because of a flat tire. When he got there, instead of towing my car, Ruzo found my spare tire and changed it, saving me $$$. My car recently broke down 40 miles from my house. I had both daughters (in car seats) in the car with me, and my husband was out of town. The situation was extremely stressful. I had some friends nearby who were able to help with getting me and my girls where we needed to go. It was EXTREMELY helpful to not also have to worry about the car. I was able to leave the car where it was, and it was towed to my house, in the agreed upon time frame, with absolutely no hassle. Victor was helpful, professional, and kind.
