I'm glad I didn't have to use their services because the behavior of their tow truck driver was enough to give me a clear impression of their overall professionalism--or lack thereof. Based on this experience and all the one-star reviews, I can see why their reputation is so poor. The driver acted like a child despite being old enough to know better. I had gone to get my tire fixed, and we arrived at the shop at the same time. He was towing a car and blocked the entire parking lot to unload it. I parked in an open spot, and he parked the towed car right next to mine. Then, he started complaining and making a scene, saying he "wanted" the spot I parked in--even though he clearly hadn't parked there and chose the space next to it instead. To make matters worse, he made snarky comments about my sweater (a Fear of God Essentials hoodie) and tried to bring religion into the argument, sarcastically saying things like, "I fear God too, that's why I'm polite," and "Jesus is watching you." The whole situation escalated into unnecessary drama inside the shop, all because he was upset over a parking spot. I requested a tow at my house from AAA. Foothill Tow came out, and the short fat African American worker comes out, says bizarrely he can't tow cars out of driveways. He said he will call his dispatch to get someone to get the car onto the street. He uses my bathroom, then asks for a water. We wait 30 minutes and I see him in his truck talking like he's at a party. I go up and ask him what's the holdup, and he said his dispatch forgot to send someone. I call AAA to send another driver, because this guy doesn't want to do work, and the operator said the first guy never called dispatch in the first place. The other guy arrives and tries to be helpful, which I appreciate. The Black guy is fuming and says they can't tow my car where I need it towed because of some policy. Terrible employee. read more

I was stuck on the west bound 210 freeway in lots of traffic. Kenneth came and hooked up my vehicle, and got me safely away from the traffic lanes. He was so nice and kind and just chatted with me while we waited for my husband to come get me. Had an excellent experience with these guys via AAA last week two days in a row! My car wouldn't start so I called AAA for a tow and they sent out Adrian with Foothill Towing on the first day of my ordeal. He was very prompt and helpful. Before even considering towing me, he checked out my car and tried starting it and got all my info. Then he suggested we try and jump start it as it sounded like maybe it was the battery - and it worked! He was so quick too! I was gonna drive straight to the dealership but realized they were already closed while driving there. So the next morning when attempting to go to the dealership again, of course the car won't start - so I called AAA again and this time they sent Jesus with Foothill Towing and he was so wonderful! He did a full system check on my battery and car charging system and determined that it was actually a new battery I needed. I have been with AAA for 29 yrs. Apparently, the contract with this tow company to answer NEAR BY calls. My job is 5 minutes away from this company. I made the request through the AAA app. Was given an estimated time of 15 minutes 5:26om. I was specific to my whereabouts. I believe that after waiting 20 minutes, I started clicking the status button on the app. Within 5 minutes, I received a call from Cory, telling me he'll be there in 15 minutes. Another 20 minutes when by... I clicked the status button over and over. My bladder was full, and there's no bathroom around. I was frustrated. I called the number Cory called me from. No answer. Finally, 10 minutes later, he comes zooming up... He apologized, saying he had to stop for gas... REALLY???!!!!!! when he called me, he told me he was on Mountain Avenue, which was LESS than 5 minutes away. I was pissed. But I held my cool. He checked my battery. It needed charging. He jumped it... Explained that he couldn't change the battery out. I have gotten it from AAA... I decided to just listen to him and was relieved that my car was running...and I had to pee bad! Once he was done with his little customer blah blah blah lecture... He had the nerve to ask for a 5 star rating when AAA sends a survey. I chuckled..."sheee-yeah!" "Okay."
