Corned Beef Hash and Eggs

Wow! Came to Franks Diner Northside yesterday (a Saturday) for breakfast. Had to wait about 20 minutes for a seat at the counter, and SO worth it! Got to see all the action! Had the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs, and are every single bit of it! It was that good! Highly recommend!!

Great Nana's Meatloaf Benedict

We had breakfast at Franks Diners on N Newport Hwy in Spokane. The service was outstanding and the food was even better. The ambiance is an old Train Car. My wife had the Nana's old fashion Meatloaf Breakfast and I had the eggs and sausage with fruit. Both were captivating in taste. If you are ever in Spokane you have to go and give them a try. We go there every trip. They have something called Crispy deviled eggs. We are going to try them next time but they look great.

I love Frank's diner! Their Joes Special is very good and is very filling. They accidentally gave me the half order, but were very friendly and corrected it. Their gluten free toast option is 3 little pancakes, which were good as well. The restaurant itself is cute and cozy.

Had a great time!!! Food was excellent and everything was running like a well oiled machine, I had the Work omelette and it was outstanding. And you can't beat that old school diner railroad car. What a great landmark!

Food was amazing. Served hot and fast. Classic greasy spoon type dinner. Built from an old train, great setting. We sat at the counter, which was just as comfortable as any table. Staff was friendly and attentive. Portions were large, come hungry, you will get filled up. I had the Rueben sandwich, best I ever had. Definitely going back next time we are in town. Next time I want to try the French toast.

House of Brunch is hands down the best brunch place in Spokane! This is one of those spots that…read moreabsolutely delivers on both flavor and presentation. We ordered the French omelette with steak, which came with wild mushrooms, and it was out of this world. The omelette was beautifully done, and the combination of the tender steak and earthy mushrooms was absolutely delicious. The empanadas were just as impressive--packed with flavor and another standout of the meal. We also tried their gold leaf coffee along with a regular coffee. The gold leaf coffee was definitely a fun, elevated touch and made the whole brunch feel extra special. What really stood out was how well they balance aesthetic and flavor. The food looks beautiful, but thankfully, it's not style over substance--the flavors absolutely deliver. Service was amazing and impressively quick, with our food coming out fast. The ambience is classy and beautiful, making this a great spot for a more elevated brunch experience. If you're in Spokane and love brunch, do not miss House of Brunch. Highly recommend!

The service was great! I think her name is Bailey! She definitely took a good care of us!

To be sure, this restaurant is more expensive than most in Spokane. We spent the same amount for…read morehalf as much the night before (and got refined food) . However, Luna does offer a lot of things for this price. You have a pleasant neighborhood restaurant vibe, with friendly attentive service and excellent, healthy food sourced from good places. As with anything in Spokane, you will see folks in very casual attire, but this is also a place where you can dress up. When we went, there were several tables of women friends (all ages), many family groups (without young kids or with well-behaved kids), and older couples. I was in the mood for salmon and they did a great version. It should be though for just under $50. It was served with black rice (good) and roasted carrots (good) and a carrot puree (really good but not enough on the plate). My dining companion got the scallops, and they were even more expensive than the salmon. $48 for TWO scallops. Ok, they are large, and well-cooked, and came with a lovely vegetable mix and couscous, but that's a lot of $ for Spokane. We are from CA and that's even a shocker for us. Dessert: they had recently added a banana pudding, which was good. It replaced a chocolate dessert--and that was a bad move because there is no intense chocolate on the menu. We also tried the coconut cake with lemon curd. There was not enough curd; it was barely a tang. The cake itself was a little dry. It is served with house-made ice cream, which balances the dryness but the cake should be good on its own. Apparently, this is their most popular dessert. I am a chocolate-first person. I like coconut. I like good vanilla. I really like lemon curd and a sweet-sour pairing. For me, this item felll short.

Bruncheonette is a must-visit for brunch in Spokane! Everything we ordered was absolutely…read morefantastic, and the flavors were seriously on point. We tried the smoked brisket hash, shrimp and grits, and breakfast burrito, and every dish delivered. The smoked brisket hash was hearty and packed with smoky, savory flavor, while the shrimp and grits were rich, creamy, and incredibly satisfying. The breakfast burrito was also loaded with flavor and made for a perfect brunch bite. The drinks deserve a special mention too! They have a huge variety of mimosa flavors, which is basically everything you want at brunch. We tried the classic and yuzu, and both were delicious. And their Bloody Marys were bomb--bold, flavorful, and a perfect pairing with the food. Service was quick and friendly. We went on a weekday and had no wait, and the restaurant has a huge space with plenty of seating. If you're a foodie looking for a brunch spot in Spokane where both the food and drinks deliver, Bruncheonette is definitely worth a visit!

I really want to like this restaurant, this was my third attempt and I have to say I won't be…read moretrying it again. Firstly the drip coffee was horrible. We told the server it tasted burnt & old so she offered to make a fresh pot. It was just as bad, when she asked we said it was still really yucky and she said that a lot of people don't care for it. I ordered the tamale waffle. The beef was great, eggs were a bit overcooked but no biggie, the waffle was really hard and dry. It needs some sort of crema sauce or something. It wasn't horrible by any stretch but it wasn't great either. My mom got the veggie breakfast burrito and she liked the veggies though it was bland, felt like it could have had more sour cream & cheese. It was massive and came with a side. The added 16% service fee is some real BS. It says on the receipt that it's split between the server & the kitchen staff. Call me old fashioned but I thought it was on the restaurant to pay their staff a living wage. At $18 a breakfast plate & $4 for drip coffee you should be able to pay your staff. And then we're supposed to tip on top of that? Nope.
