The John Stewart vegan dog and fries
Nicole L.

This is my favorite Toledo food truck! Hotdogs are house made and so yummy! Toppings are creative and always fresh. French fries are always piping hot and crispy. Staff is friendly and prompt.

Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Drove an hour to Toledo to visit Frankly for their vegan hot dog menu. I'm sure they were a bit amused when I ordered one of everything on their menu to take back home It was well worth the drive though! Best hot dogs and cauliflower wings I've ever had! Their buffalo sauce is delicious with the perfect amount of heat for a spice wimp like me. They also got tofu dippers, mac & cheese, cheesy broccoli, and cookies! Would definitely come down again

Salty fries, chick'n dippers, breakfast dogs, side Mac, 1/2 stacked fries

The food is incredible, whether you're vegan or not. They have the best tasting fries, I always ask for salty fries, the extra bit of salty just takes them to the next level. The Mac is just out of this world. And of course the hot dogs, they'll make you live hot dogs....Trust me.

The weekly special:breakfast dog and the Jon Stewart

Tonight was the first time I've had FPBK, and it was absolutely phenomenal! I got the breakfast dog which was this week's special, and the Jon Stewart. Every single bite was absolutely packed with flavor! This is vegan comfort food at its finest!

Doggie Style!

Hanging out in the area one day just walkin my dog with a friend... Yelp brings this cool looking place up.. and it actually shows VEGAN. I'm like... what?! They have chili, all sorts of different TYPES of dogs.. and fries.. you name it. For a Vegan Dog shop, these people know what they are doing! I got a Banh Mi dog. I have to admit... in the beginning.. I did not feel quite satisfied. Now I eat plenty of turkey, fish and chicken... no red meat. But After about 10 minutes of letting the food settle, I was satisfied. It was probably about $6 which is not that bad for this area. I will definitely be back. GET THE BANH MI DOG.

Yum yum yum! Great location and delicious, unique menu options. Good portion sizes for sharing.

I miss this spot so much. It was my fiancée and I's favorite food truck in Austin. Plus they served an all vegan menu which was really nice. Come back!!!

Super yummy vegan dogs! Also a big fan of their loaded fries. Plus the food truck park they are in is really nice and clean.

This place is amazing. I search for vegan hotdogs wherever I go and there's probably only 3 in all of Austin.

What so quintessentially says "summertime" like a hotdog cart? Al and his wife are as passionate…read moreabout customer service as they are about serving a great product, and they care so much about their product that they carefully source only the best, Midwestern-produced ingredients. Sure, other hot dogs might be cheaper, but they only serve Koegel Vienna franks, produced in Flint, MI. Likewise, other potato chips might be more profitable to sell, but they only carry Ballreich's chips, made locally in Tiffin, OH. Now Al might not tell you where he gets some of his amazing ingredients, like the neon green relish that makes his Chi Dawg so authentically Chicago, but you can sure taste the quality difference! Our family has been running into the Weenie Dawgs cart for years, especially on weekends at Mary Jane Thurston State Park in Grand Rapids, or on Wednesdays at the Bowling Green farmer's market. As one might expect, we all have different favourites: mine is the Chi Dawg, my son loves the Juan Hot Mama Dawg with the spicy Koegel sausage, my wife prefers the Detroit Dawg, while one daughter goes with the vegetarian dawg and the other the Texas Dawg. So no matter your interest, Weenie Dawgs probably has a dog for you! PROS: very friendly staff, very good food, and reasonable prices CONS: being a food truck, they can be challenging to locate Overall I rate Weenie Dawgs as being Very Good, and look forward to finding them again!

He said "this is obviously your first visit?" which cracked us up. He explained the menu in detail, I had already done so after seeing a facebook post about them but my Fiancé had questions, he answered all of them, so we placed our order and headed back to our car with our pup to wait for the meals. We got a plain dog with mustard and a bag of chips, 2 chili dogs with onions, a pup hotdog for our little man Diego, a root beer and a root beer float. I must say, we all loved our hotdogs. The chili dogs were the best I have had since leaving California 14 years ago. Drool worthy! My fiancé loved her mustard dog, and Diego gives 4 paws for his plain dog. The root beer and float! OMG! Seriously?!?! One word only! PHENOMENAL! We will definitely be back, and thank goodness we live a fair distance away, because if they were nearby, they'd get sick of seeing our faces, and I'd be a few pounds heavier than I'd like to be. Thank you for the fantastic first visit. You definitely made us fans!
