The other company tried for seven months to fix the issue but they weren't successful (and they charged me each time). I called Ken and explained the circumstances to him. He said he had some availability later that evening and swung by the house. In a matter of a few minutes, Ken analyzed the issue, got parts from his truck and fixed it!!! We decided to have Ken maintain our pool since! Over the last four months, Ken shows up when he's supposed to, our chemicals are typically well balanced, and our pool sweep is still performing well. In short, STAY AWAY!…read more I cannot believe what awful service we have received since using Nashville Pool Company for our family's backyard pool. We had the pool installed almost 10 years now. A salt water pool to be precise. While it was more expensive to install, after weighing our options we decided it was the right choice for us. When we hired Nashville Pool Company we thought we were getting responsible pool service company that was very reasonably priced. We were obviously very wrong about that though. After a little while of using their services we started to notice bills charging for service visits that were never performed. When we called the company to straighten it out they were always rude and would say we had no proof, insisting that their men had come on a day we had been in the backyard from morning to night. So we must have just missed the strange man coming into our backyard while we were gardening to clean the pool in which the kids were swimming? Yeah, that must have been it... It's easy to have competitive prices when your business practices are less than ethical. But that wasn't the end of our troubles with them. After repeatedly asking the pool cleaners to clean the filters, which I understand takes some time and is not very glamorous, we were only getting grumbles and excuses. Then a little while later we saw one man putting chlorine in the pool. We asked him why and he said that they had made it a chlorine pool (without consulting us, the owners, I might add). We asked why and they responded that the filter was clogged so they couldn't add more salt. Well do your job and clean the filter then! Don't make excuses and then cost us over $1K in repairs! And to top it off, on their last visit to our house, we asked them to clean part of the pool. They responded saying that they didn't have the appropriate chemical. Thankfully we had some in the garage so I pulled it out and asked if they could use that. Grumble, grumble, grumble some more but they finally agreed to clean it. Then the bill comes around and we were charged for a whole thing of the chemical! Even though it came from my garage? I tried to get in touch with the owner or manager to correct the billing mistake and instead I was yelled at and called a liar over the phone. The lady I spoke to then threatened to send bill collectors after us if I didn't pay. All I wanted to do was talk to someone about an error on a bill! Of course I paid, what else could I do? All in all I would say that Nashville Pool Co has provided me with the worst customer service that I have ever received in my life. On top of that they weaseled hundreds of extra dollars out of us for inventory that wasn't theirs and services that they didn't provide. I hope my review can save someone else out there from the headaches that come along with interacting with this company.

I say opening but really it took from the end of April until the end of June for them to actually open it and clean the water/vacuum etc They tried to charge us for the pleasure after using our chemicals and the pool still being green and full of leaves and stuff from spring, the Polaris disconnected and the columns from winterizing still in the skimmers. This was whilst we had family staying from the UK who really wanted to use the pool and hot tub and were around every day watching the shady dealings of this company from the deck doing everything but opening the pool and cleaning up. We had many prior bad experiences the year before but thought that given they'd installed the pool initially that they'd be best to help maintain it. That was a mistake and I'd never trust them again. The amount of lies they tried to tell us was incredulous and frankly they are very expensive to boot. Also the rudeness of the way the owner spoke with my wife was shocking and very disrespectful. Thankfully we mutually agreed to not do business anymore. There is no situation that I would ever recommend this pool company to anyone. No agendas here and only a fraction of the stories I could tell about this company in the 2 years we used them.

7/8/2026-I strongly regret hiring RIP Current Pool Service--at this point, it feels more like…read more"RIP-OFF POOL SERVICE." We paid approximately $1,000 per month for service ($500) and chemicals($500), so expectations for professionalism and consistency are high. Initially, the service was excellent. The first technician clearly knew what he was doing, and the pool looked great. Unfortunately, that level of service didn't last. After those first few weeks, we were repeatedly sent different VERY untrained employees, and the ​QUALITY DECLINED QUICKLY! The breaking point came when one of their technicians dumped 4 LARGE BAGS OF SALT directly into our pool. If the pool had been properly monitored weekly, there should have been NO need for that volume. The salt has not dissolved properly 2 weeks after service and has settled on the bottom of our black-finished pool--something any experienced professional knows can damage the surface. I have owned multiple saltwater pools and have ​N​EVER-NEVER experienced salt residue sitting on the bottom of a pool even ​2 week after application. That alone raises serious concerns--not only about how the salt was added, but also about the ​"QUALITY" and TYPE OF SALT USED- To make matters worse, their employees spend more time on their phones than actually servicing the pool. I have also witnessed careless handling of equipment, including throwing ​sweeper poles/tools down rather than replacing them properly. On one occasion, their employee damaged a poolside ​A​RT ​ piece--- by ramming the ​pole equipment into it, leaving a hole--never reported the damage. Perfect round hole from the end of a pole brush in my ART. RIP CURRENT work habits are inefficient and frustrating to watch. For example, while addressing salt buildup on the tile, the technician would scrub​ VERY briefly, then stop, step back, and pause for extended periods as if inspecting the work from a distance--despite the issue being clearly visible up close. This pattern repeated throughout the service visit and reflects a lack of urgency and attention to detail.​ He only cleaned a 2.5 ft of tile on the whole pool. The excessive salt has now created significant buildup on our pool tile, which requires additional cleaning--using "their products", at our expense. When we raised concerns, the owner was dismissive and attempted to justify the situation rather than take accountability. Even more concerning, WE WERE TOLD BY RIP CURRENT OWNER-- --without our agreement-- that OUR saltwater pool would NOW be treated as a chlorine pool. --------WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! This is unacceptable. The saltwater pool was built just two years ago, and no service company should unilaterally make that decision.​ WE ARE THE CLIENT!!!!!!!!!! When I questioned the pool technician- the next week, who added​ 4 bags of salt --he admitted his boss later told him it was too much. It appears the company is now trying to manage the consequences of their own mistake while ​W​E PAY FOR THEIR INEFFICIENCY --both financially and in reduced pool quality. The salt level is now so high that the water feels like swimming in the DEAD SEA. Overall, the professionalism of this company is far below what you would expect, especially at this price point. Communication is poor, accountability is lacking, and customer service is dismissive & quality of trained employees is lacking. BUYER BEWARE: THIS COMPANY DOES NOT VALUE ITS CLIENT AND OPERATES WITH A LEVEL OF ARROGANCE THAT IS DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH.
