We've been using Leisure for almost 5 years now!!! They open our pool every year for us and do an excellent job. Very Honest but most of all very knowledgeable about how to "balance" our pool and what to use to maintain that balance. Their chemical test practice is state-of-the-art and helps us maintain a crystal clear pool!!! - AND IT'S A FREE SERVICE! They never try to over sale you and Bob , Ashley , Charlie and company are all very friendly, understanding and service minded in all respects. I had a terrible experience at this store and will never return, even though I need to get things for my hot tub. This happened today, June 18, 2026 at about 1:42pm. Here is my experience: I had to get a tubing for my neighbors pool pump. He had a leak and was out of town. I went into the pool store and the young employee (male) who helped me said they had two sizes, 2in and 1.5 inch. I asked if the pump tubing were standardized and he said yes. I took the 1.5 inch. I took it home and opened the package because I was going to have to quickly change the tubing out because water was rushing due to the water pressure of the pool. When I took off the tubing from the pool, I noticed the diameter was smaller than 1.5 inches. I quickly measured it...1.25 inches as the water was gushing out. I immediately went back to the pool store, about 20 minutes later. I told them the tubing was too large and they asked for the receipt. I showed the receipt and then an older man (manger?, ower?) abruptly said they do not take returns. Was kinda jerky about it. Not very Christ like. Great teacher's, the best assistance, friendly service... and they care about their clientele...I don't think that if you have a blowup pool or Olympic size pool they treat you fair....our pool is relatively small... Leisure Time Pools opens and closes our pool and when we take in our water to be tested, they tell us what we need to add and we just do it.. we trust their professional opinions...they changed out our saltwater system... it's great to know that if you do what they ask you to do and follow up with regular water testing...... well.... my water stays clear and swimmable !!!!!! By the looks of it, the store is great for water testing, buying chemicals, or pool equipment you made need off the floor. However, The owner is beyond unprofessional. We stopped in the store in feb as the previous owner of our home suggested leisure time as they had installed the pool way back when. She said they are still in business just changed owners a few times. We found a liner we loved, the owner came out looked at the pool gave us the number of a guy to reach out to to add steps and change the deep end around. That Guy was a flake and never followed through with pricing or scheduling or emails he promised. We waited, then covid hit, weeks passed, and we finally decided to just not change the pool but get a new liner. We called Leisure time again and talked to Bobby. (Owner) Turns out The liner was discontinued. While i had him on the phone i asked him about moving our pool equipment 40 feet back. He gave me the run around of what he couldn't do and how busy he was blah blah blah. So we canned him doing the equipment and went in to pick a new liner from His store (Friday afternoon) we Spoke with Ashley who was kind, we had 2 options selected. Wanted to get prices and see if the one could be border less. Also wanted a ladder, possibly 2 and also asked if they'd do a bench/ledge in the shallow end. She took our info, she took a credit card number and we shared we were gated so would need a call ahead. She replied professionally and said she'd be in touch. Monday they are closed, Tuesday we heard nothing, Wednesday i get in my car to head home from work, and A vm popped up from Bobby @ 3:08 that he was trying to send someone to the house to measure. I called him right back. (Around 5pm) and he was as AWFUL Major attitude because i didn't answer my phone because I was in a meeting. Told me they don't give times or schedule appointments. That if I answered he could have measured. And that he wasn't changing how he did business for us. He was condescending unprofessional and so out of line. We are an interested customer looking to spend money and he cops and attitude because he called and I didn't answer and called him back less than 2 hours later when I received his vm. He said "honestly i don't think this is going to work" hahaha what? I left his store Friday. Said we were gated and needed a call ahead... he calls Im working and now he treat us like shit? I told him i told Ashley we needed a call ahead. And she seemed like it was no issue. He put me on hold to talk to her about that. And came back like an arrogant you know what to clarify that he made it clear how they do things. He's awful. I would never ever recommend you doing business with him. He has too much to say, isn't out to help you, won't accommodate you, speaks unprofessionally and thinks he's above you. He said to me "you started this conversation in February, and now when I'm busy you decided to want a liner" WTH I guess he forgot that covid hit in March and people were staying in. Along with the fact we were waiting to hear back from his recommendation (who was a total flake) And we still went back to him to get this. We are easy. 16x32 feet liner. I mean are you kidding? Yesterday's call was appalling. I missed a call and he flips out on me? Yet he was coming to measure our pool for a new liner and for us to pay him for a service. So not only did he loose our business he poorly represented his own. Awful! Awful You can go on Tara liners website and they will provide local reps. Who will gladly take your business. With a smile, with enthusiasm with kindness and appreciation for business. There's too many good people in the world who work hard and want to earn your business to give even a dollar to a small business owned by a jerk I'm calling Tara and some of his other brands to let them know what kind of guy he is and how he represents their brand. I have nothing but good things to say about Leisure Time Pool and Spa. We had a leak in our pool. Bobby spent countless hours tenaciously tracking it down and repairing it for us. In the process of doing that they also located a leak in the pump our pool inspector missed. They were able to demonstrate the issue to me and took care of making the repair. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Every one of them really knows their stuff. Caitlyn, Bobby, Montrell and Rachel will really take care of you. They've helped me quickly recover from algae blooms and they only sell me what I need - there's no upselling. When there are options they explain them and let me decide what I want to do. We purchased a house with an inground pool that had been left unattended and without a cover for at least a couple of years. Needless to say we had a black swamp on our hands! With little to no pool experience and a modest budget to work with, we needed some major help to navigate this situation! The owners and staff at Leisure Time were amazing! Caitlyn helped us navigate every step of the process! She was so willing to help anytime we needed her but also gave us the knowledge to be able to do as much as possible ourselves so as to keep the cost lower! We now have a crystal clear pool that we can enjoy and would not have been able to do it without Leisure Time and Caitlyn! I cannot say enough good things about them! I can't give zero stars but I would. My husband just came by this store to buy a filter and some chlorine. They close at 2:00. We arrived 5 minutes before closing.
