It doesn't matter how old you are, I guarantee that this place will make you forget all your worries (at least for the time you're there) They have everything to keep you entertained- arcade games, miniature golf course, go-karts, bumper boats, laser-tag, and a cafe in case you need to refuel from playing so hard! It's not necessarily cheap (one go-kart round that lasts about 5-10 minutes is $7 per person) but you can't really get to do these kinds of things elsewhere! Also, all the rides are pay as you go! ...so if you have commitment issues, it's okay because you can choose to pay for just one ride at a time~ I could tell the kids there were having a blast. Went here for a date with my wife. It's your standard arcade place, they've got fun stuff you can't really do anywhere else. It was her first time doing anything like that so I was happy she had fun. I'd rate their customer service 0/10. Absolutely horrible. I paid for us to go go-karting and the guy at the desk told us to go out and swipe our cards. We went out and did that and continued to wait about 10 min before I went back in and asked if someone was going to come over or if we were supposed to turn the karts on ourselves. He said "Oh, I'll send someone over". We then waited another 5 min before I went back inside and told them still no one showed up. They got someone to walk outside and get the guy who was supposed to turn the karts on, who showed up another 5 min later. He asked me how I was doing so I answered him honestly that I was kind of annoyed we had to wait so long for no apparent reason. He then explained how there were only 3 guys working outside. Apparently that's how many it takes to take care of the grand total of 0 other people that were enjoying a fine 45 degree Monday evening with us. Basically the whole experience felt like your typical place being worked by a bunch of high schoolers who don't care about what they do. Of the 4 people we interacted with over the course of 15-20 min to try and ride some go-karts it didn't feel like any of them cared we had come and spent our money at their business, let alone that we'd had to wait 20 min because no one felt like doing their job. We had our nephew in town visiting and was trying to find something fun for us to do. We came upon Frankie's! We went on a Monday early afternoon and it was surprisingly busy. We play a round of mini golf and my nephew and husband both rode on go-carts. They had a blast! I would love to go back and take a ride on the bumper boats and play some arcade games. Frankie's was well kept, especially the mini golf course landscaping. The inside was also bet clean and neat. Frankie's for Family Fun! Sure had a great time celebrating! The family played against each other on a very nicely kept Mini Golf course even though it ended with a triple tie! We shot baskets against one another would have had even more fun if I would have won! But the BEST was this new "PAC MAN" Air Hockey Game! You have the regular puck but then once you score it drops all these mini pucks all over the table super cool!! Did not try the laser tag, or the go karts. Frankie is like the Chuck E Cheese for us adults with very strong inner child. There are times when i would rather go to Frankie and have fun for one night than to get away for a weekend at the beach or mountain. Their main attraction should be the arcade section, which is pretty impressive, although some of the arcade game systems are in need of maintenance. They have recently removed the small bowling alley in the back, not sure if they are updating the system or replacing them, have to wait and see. Besides arcade games they also have laser tags in the building as well, alongside a restaurant with pretty decent menu selection. To me, the fun is outside under the sun, which they have mini-golf, batting cage, brand new amusement ride that'll spin you until you puke (!!), and my personal favorite, go-karts. Three kart tracks: one kiddy track, one slick track with buffed surface, and one longer road course. Recently they also added a climbing apparatus, sort of like those you see in playground, but massive in scale; it looks pretty safe, however, because I see they require harness attachment at all time. read more

Frankie's is so much fun!! It is a game/mini amusement park that is perfect for both kids and adults and offers a ton of different activities to partake in. There was putt putt, go karts, bumper boats, arcade games, and laster tag, among other activities. There was so much fun stuff to do, you could spend hours, and a lot of money at this place if you wanted to. Everything is priced individually, so if you wanted to do it all you'd be paying a pretty penny. We went with family who was in town visiting on a Sunday afternoon and it was beautiful outside. It wasn't overly crowded but there were a lot of people around. We just decided to play putt putt, we had come from a large brunch and didn't want to spend too much money. It was priced fairly, $7 a game. The course was really nicely decorated, with beautiful wooden cottages, and everything was really clean. I would definitely go back to this place again. It is a nice place to go for a family outing, and definitely for a date night. I'd like to try the restaurant sometime, and will go back the next time I'm in the mood for some putt putt :-) read more

Great place for time with the kids or a fun date night. Mini golf (18 holes), race track, obstacle course, laser tag, batting cages, and a big arcade. MIni golf was aiite, I believe I kicked butt, despite being harassed by a group of 6 year olds. Kid 1: "No adults allowed" Me: "What's that supposed to mean?! I'm a kid too!" Kid 1: "How come you look like an adult?" Kid 2: "It's just because she's tall." Thanks Kid 2. So, maybe I'll go at night next time, when there aren't so many kids around making me feel ancient. I also traded in 30 tickets won at the arcade for 3 awesome Halloween tattoos. Large parking lot, well kept facility, well maintained arcade games, and decent mini golf courses. The only qualm I have about the mini golf course was that it was damp and hadn't been swept up enough, which really affects your game. read more

This place totally rocked! - OMG , I just sounded like a 15 yr old. I had such a blast at this place. My daughter couldn't get enough of the games. The Road Course was the best. My mother whose 62 yrs old got on the course and was speeding with the youngsters. Watch it , Grandma! The place was clean and great environment. Sooo?!? We walk into the chill lounge at 1:21pm to eat and instead of Hi! We are greeted we are full. Then we ask about waiting for a table and the girl looks shocked and says I guess you could sit on couches and order. We then ask can we just wait for a table she looks blankly and never responds so we walk to the Bar. Music is extremely loud and we observe 4 open tables. It's hard to NOT have fun at Frankie's! With mini-golf, go-karts, batting cages, games and rides, there is something for everyone to enjoy! I love that they have a bar there in case you need to chillax for a bit, because it can get overwhelming. This being said, going to Frankie's can be a pricey night out - between my husband and I we had to have spent over $75 on just the 2 of us. It must be super expensive for families! Also, both times that I have been there the bathrooms have been disgusting. They really need to be cleaned more often. 4 stars for fun, 2 stars for price and lack of cleanliness! read more

I have visited Frankie's twice recently, both times with kids ranging in age from 4 to 15. Overall I think it is a fun place that appeals to both kids and adults. They have plenty of activities to choose from, the downside is it can get expensive really fast. Most of the activities cost anywhere from $5 to $8, with the arcade games ranging from 50 cents to $3, so you can see how your money can go very quickly here. The 8 year old enjoyed the Fun House, but I think this is pretty pricey if the kids are not going to spend more than a few minutes inside. You do get a wristband for this one, so you can go in and out as often as you want during the day. All of the kids liked the go karts. They have three tracks, with one of the tracks only for kids 16 and up. The other two tracks have height requirements, the 4 year old was too small to ride. We also played a round of mini golf. The courses were clean and nicely decorated. The kids also enjoyed playing a round of laser tag (this is also only for ages 6 and up). They have some other activities we didn't do, like the spider web, a ropes course and Drop Zone. Maybe next time! All in all a good way to spend a couple of hours but choose your activities wisely (maybe not too many arcade games!) or your money will soon run out! read more

We were in for another boring Saturday night at home when we discovered Frankie's. We had SO much fun. Golf carts, batting cages, laser tage, obstacle course, and arcade games that adults can play. Even though I'm pushing 30, I still have a place in my heart for arcade games. Since Chuckie Cheese has enacted that whole "You have to have a kid with you to hang out here" rule I've had to move my video game play to Frankie's. This place is actually lots of fun. They have tons of video games ranging from the old school Ms.PacMan to a new Deal or no Deal machine, and video games are all reasonably priced. Some of the old style arcade games also give you tickets for winning that you can trade in for your typical bouncing ball, glow in the dark bracelet fare. A great place for adults to pretend they're 8 again...or to bring their 8 year olds (there are always tons of kids here as well). read more

Been in the Triangle for 5 years now, and today was my first time visiting Frankie's. Frankie's is an amusement and gaming park offering food, video games, bumper cars, go karts and laser tag. Thought it would be a bit more exciting, but fun nonetheless. I thought it was bigger than it actually was. The go karts were a lot of fun. There is one track where the track is slippery (Shamrock track or something). I wouldn't get on that one but it seemed like it was fun. Also visited the restaurant within Frankie's. I had wings and a garden salad. Great big salad for only $3 and some change. It was good and so were the wings. read more

I totally love this place this a great place for grown ups-- uhm I mean kids and the kid at heart (grown folks) alike. I went there a little while ago with a good friend of mine and we had such a blast. We got on the race track and raced around a few times which was pretty cheap. This is a fun place. The only problem is that it is expensive. The arcade games are mostly new, some broken. But all in all, they were much too expensive. How could you not have a great time at a place like this? My friend and I started off at the restaurant, which was a lot nicer than I was expecting for fun park food. I ordered a really tasty cobb salad and my friend ordered grilled salmon. Both were very good and comparable to meals you would order at fancy restaurants! We had a lot of fun on the go karts (especially on the Shamrock drift course), playing mini golf, and challenging each other in some arcade games. I haven't played mini golf since I was a tween, so I don't have a whole lot to compare this to, but I do know that I had fun and I look forward to going back. My favorite part of the arcade was the giant Connect 4 game. Yes, that's right, the same game you played via fisher price when you were 7! This is also a great way to win tickets (the winner gets 100 + whatever bonus you end up getting at the end) and the loser gets 40. Not bad! Frankie's is one of the only true entertainment facilities in the Triangle area. There are no theme parks or water parks in Raleigh so Frankie's is the best option. There is putt putt, some small thrill rides, go-karts, bumper carts, an arcade and a newly built ropes course. If you are looking to have fun with the kids this is a great place to go. The prices are affordable and you can have hours of fun. Years ago the putt putt pace of place was very slow but when I played this time it was rather quick. Had a couple hours to kill before a wedding, so we went over to Frankie's upon the suggestion of a former resident. This place is pretty awesome! Frankie's combines your typical arcade games with lasertag, mini-golf, go-karting, and small carnival entertainment all into one megastop. Load up a Fun Money card with some dollars and go about enjoying the games and rides! One of the most popular games is the Pac-Man air hockey table. The staff is helpful with explaining fees and how the whole card system works. This is a family friendly place, where lots of young families take their kids. However, it is also a great place for older folks to come and just let loose. Think of it as a cuter D&B. Went to Frankie's last night for a friend's birthday and had a blast!!! The place is huge and it offers a ton of activities that are fun for kids and adults. Since it was for a friend's birthday we started at the bar in the restaurant located inside. The bar staff was nice, funny, and really quick with service. When I ordered my drink and the bartender got it wrong, he quickly made ma another one and let me keep the mistake on the house (free drink always equals a win). Some people say this place can be pretty pricey since all the activities are priced individually, but we only came for laser tag and go-carts and my $20 went far. Frankie's is a great place to go when nothing will satisfy that craving for pure happiness. We went here for a friend's 27th birthday and it was an absolute success. We played mini-golf. My main complaint for this has nothing to do with Frankie's but more to do with etiquette. There were a lot of people playing but instead of still allowing proper space the people behind us kept getting uncomfortably close (ie we were all standing on the same side of the next hole) It would have been more understandable had we been the only ones out there. This was not the case. We were allowing for distance between us and the other groups. --Courtesy people! Why would you want to stand that close to a group of people you don't know and make everyone act awkwardly quiet because you are impatient! Best idea yet---we used all the tickets we got from playing games to buy the Birthday Girl some presents. Who doesn't love fake jewelry, tattoos and erasers?? read more

Your classic family fun zone type of deal. They've got the works, starting with mini golf and working on up. This is the go-to place of the kind for my friends and I, and for good reason. Every time I walk in I'm reminded of just how slick and well-appointed the place is. This is no ground-to-dust batting cage with a few video games... It's a well-run joint with a lot going for it. The prices are better than industry standard and everything is well designed, especially the laser tag. We just returned from Frankie's, today is my sons 8th birthday he's on the spectrum for autism and loves the virtual games and go karts. We arrived around 4:40 pm and we only got to play a few games before I realized my phone was missing. I had two phones on my lap mines and my husbands, I felt them slip but heard one fall, wasn't sure which one and my husband and son were directly across from me refilling our card. After I took the virtual glasses off I looked for my phone and couldn't find it high and low, my husband notified the asst mgr, who at first was very helpful. I went to my car and got my other phone and tracked if (find my iPhone) and the funny thing is as soon as I cut it on an employee walked right by me with my phone!!! I followed him he walked behind the desk then I told me husband and the asst mgr. My husband had spoke to the mgr who said his name was "Ryan" and he was checking the cameras. During that time my husband, myself, my son and the asst mgr walked back to the ride searched high and low mind you my phone was still saying it was on a specific employee behind the desk! When we get back my phone starts moving again while I'm completely still,, and it's the same employee! I say to my husband and asst mgr! He has my phone and he's going towards laser tag! The asst mgr followed him a few minutes later the mgr "Ryan" came out with this sneaky smile and my phone, saying he found my phone where my husband, myself, others customers and the asst mgr didn't? At that point I got upset because I clearly tracked my phone on one of they're employee's, they refused to tell us where they found the phone, the mgr was very disrespectful, thought he was going to talk to me any kind of way, constantly threatened to call the cops but never did because he knew he would have had to show the tapes! I've managed plenty of establishments and never ever would I protect an employee caught stealing, nor disrespect a paying customer and her child! Headed to play games and drive go carts we decided to try the restaurant here also. We ordered Frankie's nacho royale Kids chicken fingers Kids burger Salad bar Chicken penne pasta The nachos weren't very good. They were sweet. I think it was the chili mixture that was sweet. Not my cup of tea but whatever. The kids seemed to like their food, but it's hard to mess up chicken tenders and a burger. The salad bar was the best part of the trip. They had a huge selection of items and it was all very fresh. The pasta was good also just not what we were in the mood for. I've been to Frankie's a few times over the past 4 years. It's a pay-by-you-go indoor/outdoor arcade--minigolf courses, go-karts, lots of games. There's also a restaurant and a bar (yes, alcohol mixed with arcade games!). It can be a bit of a mixed bag, depending on when you go. The later into the night, the less children and the more of an adult playground it becomes. You can definitely spend a lot of money here. But it's definitely unique and fun--even as an adult field trip! read more

Frankie's can be a lot of fun with a group of friends, even for adults. But don't expect to have a good time for long unless you've got a decent amount of cash to spend. Don't get me wrong, Frankies' prices are reasonable compared to similar joints, but you'll burn through money pretty quickly nonetheless. I've always been interested in the laser tag, but never had the patience to wait in line to get into it. The mini golf is fun, and probably the best value in the place - you'll get the most enjoyment time out of your $6.00 as compared to a 5ish minute go-cart ride. I've also never tried the restaurant either, and also probably never will. Frankie's isn't exactly the place I'd go to have dinner, but I can certainly visit for an evening of fun. read more

Although expensive, it is on par with other comparable parks. The go-karts and laser tag are my favorite, but the different mini golf options are a lot of fun too! It's fun for all ages, but I have to admit I can't wait to go without the kids! There is a snack bar and full service dining, with a full bar, available. Prices also comparable to other amusement parks. The arcade has a ton of options and they are a lot of fun. Super nice place for a fun afternoon. Pros: - Everything was clean (as clean as it can be for something so hands-on) and well maintained. No trash whatsoever laying around - Prices were pretty reasonable considering the overhead it takes to run that place and keep it from getting sketchy - Really liked the card system for the arcade games. It was awesome to not have to mess with cash and have machines spitting out tickets. You just go up to a kiosk, enter the amount of money you want on the card, and swipe your credit card. All the arcade games clearly show how much they cost and they show your card balance when you swipe it, as well as how many tickets you have - Excellent variety of arcade games. All the classics plus a bunch I'd never seen Cons: - The putt-putt was a little boring. We actually went there specifically to play putt-putt, but the course was pretty bland so that's why we ended up playing arcade games also. The putt-putt looked really cool and was perfectly maintained, but just sort of boring. No obstacles other than big fake rocks, none of those windmill machines that block the ball, no water traps. Just sloped greens and fake rocks - Would be cool to have hand sanitizer dispensers around 2 of us were there for about 2-3 hours, spent about $30 total and had a blast. I just moved here from California and this place was very impressive. It's a lot of fun. My only complaint is that it's very expensive :/ my boyfriend and I went on the go carts which cost $14 total then the bumper boats cost another $14 total then the laser tag is another $14 total Plus more money on the arcade. So pricey for being able to do these things only once and then pay again if you wanna do it again. arcades I've been to back home, you pay a one time fee for a wrist band and you can ride everything as many times as you want which is great. read more
