The bus hole with cool LED lights! M
RC C.

This mini golf course was probably the best one I have ever been to. The obstacles were well designed, and I also really liked that one hole because of the zip line. I also really liked that one hole where there was basically three holes right at the start, and that was pretty much a guaranteed hole in one. The LED lights in the bus hole was also cool. I am also reviewing on my dad's account, because I was the only one who played. I definitely recommend this course as long as you have someone to play with!

We came to Raleigh to visit some friends and they suggested coming here to beat the heat and have fun. $16 gets you unlimited play and each hole is a different challenge and completely different than any other mini golf I played. It was super fun but then filled up with rug rats. We made plans to return because we only played half of the two sides.... worth it.

Absolutely incredible mini golf spot -- I've mini golfed in 23 states (trying to get all 50) and this is in my top three places all-time. Holes are creative and super unique (zip-line, baseball, foosball, billiards, basketball, and disc golf? AMAZING!). Two clean, well-maintained courses. Great prices and customer service. 12/10 would recommend--ParTee Golf ROCKS, and I will come here whenever I'm in the Raleigh area!

Really disappointed with this place. Overcrowded and packed to the brim. We went last Saturday and the young people working behind the counter didnt care who started to play at what time. They were not paying any attention to the players at all. Some of the sticks were broken and a few holes weren't working right. Worst part was the kids in the bday party were running around on the course and jumping onto others holes while they were actively playing. I can't believe i paid $66+ and was completely overwhelmed and disappointed. Also people were making very inappropriate things in the 3D pin art with kids around.

We went to ParTee shack last night and had lots of fun! They had all different obstacles for mini golf that we have never experienced before. The shack was extremely crowded with high school aged kids and little kids though. At one point we were behind this family who had a 3 year old putting and we waited at the hole for over 15 minutes. It was very humid and stuffy in there as well and some of the equipment felt pretty grimy. We did enjoy the swing hole and the slap game as well! It is very reasonable for a round of golf. It is 18 holes for only $12 a person! They also have food and drinks available for purchase, however we didn't have anything while we were there. Overall we enjoyed the elaborate mini golf course!

Very cool holes!

What a great concept! So many wild ideas were put into this place. You have three courses. Alcohol and food are options. This place was packed but I can understand why and it would t prevent me from going g again.

Family fun.

We had a really good time. The courses are unique and very artistically crafted. There are 3 courses. They have a snack shack with some beer options. The flow through the course takes about 30 minutes per course. They have an assortment of video and arcade games. Staff were friendly and facility was very clean.

The red course is stroller friendly. Our girl slept the whole time which made for a fun date for us!

It was a really hot summer day and we have a new baby (2 months old at the time we went to ParTee Shack) so we were looking for an indoor, stroller friendly activity to do when my parents were in town visiting. Yelp brought up ParTee Shack, which was only 15 minutes away from us. We did the red course because we were told it was stroller friendly. It is also the most difficult course they offer. We didn't find it to be "difficult" as ParTee Shack has a variety of games (might not be the right word) at each hole to keep things different. It's not just walking up and putting until you make it in the hole. For example, one hole is an obstacle course/race to see who finishes first. A couple others involved spinning a wheel for a more complex tee off. Overall we really enjoyed our time at ParTee Shack. They do sell alcoholic beverages which can make things more interesting ;). We haven't been back to try the other two courses they offer but hope to soon.

Mini golf fun!

This is a fun mini golf spot. There are 3 courses to try and they are all completely indoors in a warehouse style building. There are also two simulators where you can practice your golf swing but also frisbee golf and even soccer. Lots of games for adults and kids, and even a boxing simulator where you can check your punch strength. Pow! There is a food counter with pizza and the like. Relatively inexpensive which is great for family fun.

A new mini-golf facility that's great for families and dates! I stopped in a day after they opened to check out the space. Three mini-golf courses of varying degrees of difficulty, the holes are stacked pretty close together but they've got a couple of fun holes in a bus along with some cool decor. Beyond the mini-golf they will have virtual golf simulators, pool tables and they also serve beer and some snacks if you've got some hunger happening. Overall a chill and relaxed spot to knock a golf ball around and hang out. Don't miss the ball-return kinetic sculpture up front!

On Mondays their drink special is $5 for any draft, what a steal! We all enjoyed a drink and a few games. I love the decor and vibes in Boxcar, the artwork is really punk and cool looking. My favorite game, The Lucky Duck, was broken (the claw wouldn't extend far enough to reach any ducks). I reported this to a staff member and she let me pick out any 2 ducks I wanted! The Pokemon pinball was fun too, I love the variety of pinball machines.

Tokens are reasonably priced and older style arcade games only take 1- the more interactive or multi player games (think air hockey, basketball, dance dance etc) take 4. They have free popcorn, daily drink specials, and drinks were very reasonably priced. Despite being fairly busy, service at the bar was friendly and fast- I was impressed! Not much else for food here from what I can tell, so don't plan on having your meal here. I brought two teenage boys and we hung out for almost 2 hours- I think I spent about 40 bucks including tokens and a couple of drinks for myself. I really liked the street art vibe, especially all of the murals and the Instagram wall. They've done a great job with ambiance! The outdoor patio adds a lot of additional chill space. When we were there they didn't have a band playing, but I think they do often. I almost want to give it 5 stars, but several of the games were not working properly and ate our tokens. That say you can grab someone to fix them, but nobody appeared available, and I wouldn't have wanted to bother them multiple times anyhow... Would be great if they were proactively checking and fixing them. More snacks would be great too! Other than that it was a really great experience, I would definitely go back.

Frankie's Review - 3/5…read more While in town, we decided to visit Frankie's after it was recommended to me by my boss, and this time I had my husband and 12-year-old son with me. Overall, it was a nice way to spend time together as a family and gave us something fun to do during our visit. Frankie's offers a good variety of attractions, and my son especially enjoyed the rides, including the claw, roller coaster, and zero gravity experience. We also played putt-putt golf, which was enjoyable, though I personally found the course a bit less challenging than similar places I've visited before. The road course was also on the shorter side, but still fun for what it offered. One thing I would note is that the pricing felt a bit high, particularly for the arcade games and rides, especially considering some of the experiences are fairly brief. We also found the pizza to be a little overpriced, so we chose other food options as well as their burger and Philly cheesesteak. Unfortunately, one part of the experience that stood out in a less positive way was the customer service around some of the attractions. Several of the attendants seemed very nonchalant and disengaged, almost as if they were not very happy to be there. That kind of energy can affect the overall atmosphere and, for me, made it less likely that I would return or recommend it. We also had to wait for attendants to assist with some of the more interactive 3D-style games, which interrupted the flow of the experience. That being said, one of my personal favorites ended up being the carnival 3D shooting game, even though we did have to wait for an attendant before we could play. Once we got on, it was definitely one of the more enjoyable parts of the visit for me. On the positive side, it was not crowded during our visit, which made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I especially enjoyed spending time in the arcade with my family, and that ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. I also want to mention our experience in the bar area with Olivia Jackson, who provided such warm and pleasant service. She was courteous, attentive, and truly showed genuine Southern hospitality. Her kindness and professionalism made us want to stay longer, and we ended up enjoying our food and family time even more because of her. She was definitely one of the bright spots of our visit. Overall, while I have visited similar entertainment venues that I personally enjoyed more, Frankie's still provided a decent family outing and a different experience while we were in town. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

My daughter occasionally convinces me to go here and I'm reminded every time that I hate it. I will say, however, that my interactions with the staff are pleasant. They're friendly and helpful. As you approach the storefront, you see the entire front painted in a Star Wars theme (2nd day of Mandalorian and Grogu). As you enter, a Mandalorian-dressed employee(?) was standing near the entrance. The lobby is set up like an old style video rental store combined with a mini restaurant/bar. The line leading up to the check-in counter (you can buy tickets and reserve seating online or purchase at check-in) is lined with video selections and the ceilings had various movie posters hanging from them. On the other side of the video "store" is the dining area for the restaurant. The check-in counter is shared with the food counter, then further down is the wine/beer/drinks counter. As you enter the back to get to the theaters (apparently 15 of them), there is an entire hallway of doors leading to restrooms/urinals. I can't speak to all of them but the one used was definitely not serviced as the paper towel roll was out of the dispeser and standing up on the wet counter so the towels were sucking up water. The theater is small in comparison to most theaters in the pre-COVID era, but had reclining seats with enough legroom to allow servers to walk in front of you when bringing your orders. The recliners recline at both the feet and head but the head doesn't got back as much as you'd expect so seats nearest to the screen (didn't have a choice but to sit up front) will still have you craning your neck to look up. Each seat also has a small (sticky) table with plenty of space to place your order. Then below the table, at armrest level, is a light pointing down to see the QR code for ordering. Plus there's a cupholder big enough to sit a large drink inside. Overall, it was pretty comfortable and didn't feel as crowded as it was which was almost 100% full for the 2nd day of the movie. The food was surprisingly decent but the pizza had burnt edges. The fries were salted well and were thick enough to retain the potato-y taste. The popcorn tasted fresh and was lightly buttered as requested. It comes in a large metal bowl, enough for 2 people. Overall, the experience was a good one, but definitely needs some cleaning of the tables at the recliners and the bathrooms. The food was pricey as you'd expect from a theater, so no change there from pre-COVID :-) I'd recommend it for the comfort of watching a movie on the big screen.
