This is definitely a fun place! They have bowling, billiards, mini bowling, ax throwing, plus an arcade! Not to mention a full menu and full bar. I didn't try the food here but the drinks were pretty good. The prices for playing the games isn't too bad either, it was around $20 an hour for the miniature bowling. Highly recommend this place if you're in Wake Forest!

This is a half the bar. It's a duplicate on the left side of the photo.

This was my first time here. I went to meet a group of friends who also had not been here before. What a blast we had! After spending a few hours enjoying adult refreshments and fried potato chips, we decided to do some axe throwing. Plus, continue with the beverage consumption. We had such a fun time! There are two young men there who will show you how to throw, get you to sign waivers, etc. Half of us had done this before, half hadn't. It only took a few minutes to get the hang of it. There are tables by the axe throwing lanes. When you use a lane, you get the table by it. The employees are all awesome. Everyone was always wearing a smile, was friendly, and very helpful. There are also video games, bowling, and pool, but we didn't do any of those. Overall, we were there a good 5+ hours and had fun every minute! 5 solid stars.

Love the pinball games there

This visit was a lot better in terms of bowling/crowds. Surprisingly, we visited 20 minutes after opening on New Years Day and were immediately put onto a lane. There were hardly any guests there which was awesome for a carefree time of bowling. We ordered a few drinks from the bar and let me just say that Ryan is an excellent bartender! He's so personable and quick. He made a White Russian for me (a New Years tradition) and it was amazing! Definitely can't wait to come back again for more fun.

This is one of the best restaurants/bowling places I have ever been! I would recommend them to everyone, and I actually have recommended them to everyone. Their drinks are wonderful!

We had our son's 9 th birthday party here about a few weeks ago. It was great. We picked gold party package. The party assistant was great. She did a lot of things - arrange the tables, place things/clothes in order , picked up kids shoes , serving the food/drinks, clean up and pack up everything. It made the party goes smoothly and I was not overwhelmed. Great space. Lots of things to do.

We had so much fun yesterday! This is a small little bowling alley right next to the fire station and a handful of restaurants. We were walking around downtown wake forest when we decided to stop in here and go bowling. First things first, this is the most affordable bowling alley in the area. We did an hour of bowling at three pairs of shoes for less then $50. We got a pizza for about $20. We went up to our lane where there was a huge party that had been taking up our seating. When they brought us our food we told them the people were taking our seats and they made sure they moved. All the staff was super friendly. They made sure our food was right. They came and asked us how our kids were liking it. It just had that small town feel that really made you feel like family. We absolutely will be going back here in the future. We had so much fun and felt so welcome. They said they were temporarily closing for a renovation so I look forward to seeing this place when it reopens!

I mean maybe more than 2 bartenders would be helpful for a pleasurable experience. 6:45 at night and 30 min to get our check!

Several of the axe throwing stalls were open so we started there. Then we did the pirate putt putt, and it was amazing! The effort they put into the decorations and hole designs was evident. Next we tried out the arcade area, which is much larger than you would think from the outside. From there we tried the second putt putt area with a retro feel; even the music was spot on. We wrapped up with mini bowling and had a blast. The food is reasonably priced but nothing special. We would have spent more if they had a kitchen/ grill like you would find at a bowling alley. The drinks ranged from bottled water to sports drinks to soda to alcohol. Overall the building and equipment were clean and well maintained. The staff were very nice and helpful. The majority of the building is accessible, including the multi-stall bathrooms and activities like mini bowling. Other than the gendered multi-stall bathrooms there are several single stall gender neutral bathrooms but only one was in service when we went. The single stall bathrooms are located inside the entrance to the retro putt putt, inside the arcade area, and just before you get to the VR area.

We also did the mini bowling and axe throwing. You're able to pick what you want to do and there's even a package deal if you want to do a little bit of everything. They have a variety of beers and food options. From pizza to popcorn and ice cream. We tried a cream cheese stuffed churro. They are also setting up a whole VR room we were chosen to test it out. It's still under construction but once they finish I know it's going to be a popular choice. Lastly they have a huge set up for cornhole tournaments. We really enjoyed our time. But for parents to be aware it can be a little pricey to do many of the options they have. So do your research before going. Overall we had a wonderful time with the family.

Buffaloe Lanes South Family Bowling Center - Loaded potato skins

I am a huge fan of inexpensive, fun, family entertainment and Buffalo Lanes checks those boxes…read more We've bowled here many times over the past couple of years and it is always a fun time. The electronic scoring and automatic bumper bowling are convenient features and staff is always at the ready when a slow-pitched ball from a little one doesn't quiiite make it all the way. The food is what you might expect and there are a decent amount of choices from pizza and wings to French toast and nachos. Little Mister is a fan of the French toast and you have the option of ordering it with either cinnamon and sugar or powdered sugar. Well, I suppose you could order it without any sugar at all since you can dip it right into the glorious liquid sugar called maple syrup. Or maybe it is high fructose corn syrup that tastes enough like maple syrup to pass with flying colors. The nachos are sufficiently okay. They get soggy under the cheese, and the chicken is flavorful but nothing to write home about. The potato skins are great dipped in sour cream and you can order them without bacon if you prefer. There is also an arcade that can swiftly devour your funds. Many of the games offer points that can be redeemed for treasures in the arcade store. Ultimately, you can spend a bundle of cash to win enough points for a tootsie roll. I'm exaggerating. But not too much. There are games like Wicked Tuna where you can test your virtual fishing finesse, or Jurassic park where you can blow virtual raptors into oblivion. There's even a good ole hoop-shooting game that tests your basketball skills and gives you points for your athletic prowess. Overall, BLS is a great place to unwind and have fun. Call ahead to see if they have open bowling. They usually do but if not, there's always the arcade if you want to lighten the burden of carrying all that cash in your wallet.

I noticed two party rooms and I loved how they had an eating area called CJ's Tavern for those that wanted to sit and eat, away from the bowling area. I believe I was most impressed by the robotic machine delivering the food to the guests in the additional bowling area. How cool and innovative!
