Anytime we're looking for something to do, we always forget about Frankie's but when we do recall, it's always a great time to be happy. This place seems to evolve time after time. Frankie's Review - 3/5 While in town, we decided to visit Frankie's after it was recommended to me by my boss, and this time I had my husband and 12-year-old son with me. Overall, it was a nice way to spend time together as a family and gave us something fun to do during our visit. Frankie's offers a good variety of attractions, and my son especially enjoyed the rides, including the claw, roller coaster, and zero gravity experience. We also played putt-putt golf, which was enjoyable, though I personally found the course a bit less challenging than similar places I've visited before. The road course was also on the shorter side, but still fun for what it offered. One thing I would note is that the pricing felt a bit high, particularly for the arcade games and rides, especially considering some of the experiences are fairly brief. We also found the pizza to be a little overpriced, so we chose other food options as well as their burger and Philly cheesesteak. Unfortunately, one part of the experience that stood out in a less positive way was the customer service around some of the attractions. Several of the attendants seemed very nonchalant and disengaged, almost as if they were not very happy to be there. That kind of energy can affect the overall atmosphere and, for me, made it less likely that I would return or recommend it. We also had to wait for attendants to assist with some of the more interactive 3D-style games, which interrupted the flow of the experience. That being said, one of my personal favorites ended up being the carnival 3D shooting game, even though we did have to wait for an attendant before we could play. Once we got on, it was definitely one of the more enjoyable parts of the visit for me. On the positive side, it was not crowded during our visit, which made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I especially enjoyed spending time in the arcade with my family, and that ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. I also want to mention our experience in the bar area with Olivia Jackson, who provided such warm and pleasant service. She was courteous, attentive, and truly showed genuine Southern hospitality. Her kindness and professionalism made us want to stay longer, and we ended up enjoying our food and family time even more because of her. She was definitely one of the bright spots of our visit. Overall, while I have visited similar entertainment venues that I personally enjoyed more, Frankie's still provided a decent family outing and a different experience while we were in town. The price of games and rides is not worth it. They are ridiculously expensive for carnival rides, and the games are often not operating correctly. This place is such a rip-off. My daughter occasionally convinces me to go here and I'm reminded every time that I hate it. I will say, however, that my interactions with the staff are pleasant. They're friendly and helpful. They are only reason this isn't a 1 star review. Stars and Strikes is a much better deal for similar fun imo. read more

Came here for a fun family game night and we enjoyed it. There's a big arcade and a place for bumper cars, mini golfing, and food and drinks. We came for the arcade and we enjoyed ourselves for the most part. It was pretty clean and filled with children and adults having fun so the vibes were nice. I expected more variety for the games so it did feel a little repetitive and many machines weren't working so that was a little bit of a bummer. Maybe next time more games will be up and running and i'd like to try the mini golf and maybe have a bite. read more

I came to Frankie's with a group under the impression that I was just going to get a few drinks at the bar, socialize and play some games. Well I can say that ate and played more games than drank. The food here was surprisingly really good. I ate at the Chill Lounge Bar area and the bartender provided such amazing service this night. It's too bad I cannot remember this man's name but he was awesome. My friend and I ordered chicken quesadillas, French fries, and a slice of pizza. The bartender told us the food would be really good, but of course we expect some bias. He wasn't wrong! And the portions are pretty large btw. We could have shared the quesadillas. We both took half of them home and shared the fries. Everything was fresh and hot and I will certainly return with a group. Of course the games were a blast. Had an amazing time with ALL ADULTS btw playing laser tag and go karts lol we were like big kids again. Laser tag was so much fun. As soon as they split us up into teams and let us into the area, it was like kids on a playground again. Overall, it was an awesome time. This place is a surprising lot of fun! And an excellent afternoon outing with your adult brother while the elderly parents need an afternoon nap! Everything is pay-per-use, so there's no cover-charge. There's a small but exciting roller-coaster, lots of indoor games, and some thrilling go-karts. Plus to wind down, quite a lot of mini-golf -- 3 sets of 18 holes! It was getting chilly at dusk so we packed it in. If you're looking for a place to have some fun in Raleigh, NC, Frankie's is the place to go! They have a large arcade area, outdoor go karting, mini golfing, bumper cars & bumper boats, some amusement park rides, laser tag, and more! When I went with my friends, we stayed for so many hours because we had to try everything! There's so much to do and definitely a kid's paradise. I'm not sure if they still have their rope course, but that was a personal favorite of mine, along with the outdoor go karting. They also have a cafe inside and their food isn't half bad. Overall was a pretty great experience. The only the only issue would be that it is way too overpriced. I came with my fiancé because we wanted to have a date. We spent $55 on three rides, which was the golf cart ,the claw, and laser tag which in my opinion is way too overpriced and they should have wristbands instead for that price overall, it was a great experience. I read all the reviews and many spoke about how fun Frankie's is. When we arrived I was highly underwhelmed. This place doesn't hold a candle to Dave & Busters. It has half of the Dave & Busters Arcade games and boasts attractions/ rides such as Mini Gulf, Go Karts and Laser Tag. Unfortunately the go karts were closed and only open during weekends which is limiting. The bumper cars were disappointing because the area they are housed in is the size of a mouse hole ! Very unfair. The prizes are garbage. You would have to spend $100 each child for them to score a prize of actual quality. This place needs to take tips from Dave & Busters. Where kids can actually earn decent prizes after winning tickets. This place was a huge disappointment even to the kids. I really want my money back. read more

Still open during covid which is great when you want a quick family fun day. We decided to go to the batting cages however they were closed due to the weather. We decided to play a round of golf. $10 for a round of golf, kids under three play for free. As far as cleaning -I did see the employee clean the golf clubs as they were being brought back. Since the weather was cold we decided to skip the outdoor race track and attractions. Normally we would have taken the kids to the arcade but I felt a little uncomfortable as there were lots of people but didn't see anyone disinfecting. We had to figure out what they all wanted to do and then calculate how much to purchase on a card. I came here at night time and only played mini golf. It was a very hot day even though the sun was down. The lighting here made it difficult to see what I was doing half the time. The holes were all similar to me. No little obstacles or anything. There was some pretty and interesting scenery. There were three courses and they all seemed identical to me. We came here over Adventure Landing to celebrate my son's advancement in Scouts. I give this place kudos for a variety of entertainment options - Laser Tag, virtual reality games, 3 go-kart tracks, rides and a rope course. Inside they have quite a few video games, but nothing that really appealed to my older senses. My son and his friend went through their Fun Cards, so I know they enjoyed it. The go kart track is great - long, lots of tight turns, a bridge and it's easy to watch your people go around. The karts left something to be desired, though. The boys said they sputtered out and don't go as fast as Adventure Landing. We played laser tag, and that was completely disappointing. The vests are in disrepair, my vest didn't register on the scoreboard, and I don't think it registered even one hit, even when my husband specifically let me hit him. The gun is supposed to have a display that shows your hits, but mine didn't work. My husband's vest clips were broken. He didn't see his number on the scoreboard either. The cafe has pizza and burgers, a few salads and sandwiches. I also noticed a bar. We didn't play miniature golf, or ride the Sidewinder. read more

The machines where you pick up items with handles were too difficult and manipulative in that it appeared no one won any prizes.
