We took 4 of our grandchildren here to zipline. We didnt really know what to expect but we had a great time. Daniel and Taylor were our guides and they were wonderful and patient with the gazillion questions our grandkids had. They were very professional even when my husband tried to do more than he should have and they had to reprimand him (he had been zipling on the "Green Bull" in Puerto Rico so he thought he could push the limits). The grandkids loved it and said it was their favorite part of the trip we were on. Anyways we will definitely be back to try the many other adventures they have. Sure I had a reservation for paintball and I'd spent the day fantasizing about all the cool things I'd do with that futuristic pneumatic gun in my hand. But what REALLY was I looking for? I took 8 of my buddies on a guys adventure weekend and we had a blast. We found a pretty rad Groupon that saved us some money so we all bought one and showed up to play last Saturday. Upon our arrival we noticed a lot of people standing around waiting for shooters to leave so they could join in on the fun. The wait are is cool and lots of space to move around. The actual guns are sweet. I would recommend wearing layers of clothing. Hmmm, where to start.......Just a money pit, you cannot purchase grip socks elsewhere because of insurance liabilities. Lame excuse when we've visited other trampoline parks and they've allowed them. Like I said, a money pit. Never coming back! All food needs to be purchased through them, which is all over priced. Money Pit. Socks must be their brand, So I asked the manager what happens when the socks the have from Xtreme wear out? He replied, "you buy new ones"..... of course keep purchasing through them. These socks are no better than the ones we purchased online, we tried one and one on each foot and felt no difference in grip. In fact, my little nephew had one of their socks from previous visits and those had less grip than the ones we purchased online. GO figure!! Like I said just a money pit. They want to talk about liability, their restroom floors were constantly wet without a wet sign and very little maintained, there was trash on the floor for our entire duration of three hours at the park. On top of that, we had completed all the waivers online ahead of time eleven of them! And upon arrival we are informed that we need to do them all over again on the their tablet because just under two weeks they made the change but failed to remove the ability to complete it online, such a hassle! It gets better, we ask for the manager Jason Cook who comes to the front lobby merely recites what's on the website and says have a nice day and walks away! That's not a manger, just hire a robot instead. HOW RUDE!!!!!! I never disrespected him or used derogatory language towards him for him to jut walk away. NEVER COMING BACK!!! They offer diverse activities from all ages, such as gem mining and laser tag for younger kids or those who aren't ready to put themselves through the challenge of paintball and airsoft. Personally though, I really love the ropes course and when I just want to relax and enjoy the view I go for their incredible zipline course. Although the quick drop is intimidating, the instructors at Xtreme always take their time to help me build the courage and make me feel safe and secure with their equipment. I've been going to Xtreme often over the summer as it's a nice way to take a vacation right here in the Durham-raleigh area. Jeremy was kind enough to give my family and I a sneak peek at the escape rooms they have on site and we can't wait to give the lab a try. Went Paintballing for a friend's birthday today! Got a GREAT deal on groupon for the paint ball package and the staff was very friendly. I had a issue with my first gun and it sucked that i had to take time out of playing to take back and exchange for a new one. This is a great place to go to if you're a newbie to paintball. I came here with a group of 6 and we rented out a private group $200 for 3 hours and the groupon was $20 with mask and 200 paintballs. Our referee was super friendly, knowledgeable, and offered a ton of different game modes we could play. We played on 4 different fields and thought city hall was the most fun. Came here today with my son and 5 of his friends for a friendly game of paintball. They ALL had an awesome time. Much needed distraction from their normal routine of video games. They ran, they hid, they scored shots on each other with paintballs (sneaky exercise) I learned today that they also have zip lining and a rope obstacle course and they they host team building sessions. Went with a group of about 9 on 7/31/21 for their paintball activity. Got there around 11:15am and finished all the necessary waivers and equipment pick up. We moved to the staging area and sat for about 45-60 minutes waiting for an employee to proceed to guide us on the next steps. We approached a staff member who located our guide and helped us get situated to play. Our guide Jordan proceeded to get us into the briefing room to learn the basic safety rules and clip our pass cards. Jordon did a tremendous job enforcing rules and explaining them and detail and ensuring al party members of the public group paid attention and understood safety precautions and the rules do each game mode. Spent about 5 hours playing paintball and walked away with new memories (all which are scars to remind us of the fun we had) and friendships. Would highly recommend Xtreme Park Adventures for their friendly staff, great sport activities and overall environment. They missed a 5 star for the long wait before getting us in game, but we were very satisfied with the rest of the service and the staff nailed it. Overall a memorable and epic time. Great airsoft field, I can't say for the paintball personally but from what I've heard it's good to,has friendly helpful staff and fun dynamic maps... except mad max which is very one sided,flow between games could certainly be better but from what I heard there getting a tv to tell game times and possibly map.overall a really good experience, but can't say it's a very family friendly environment,would definitely recommend this field to beginners and experienced players alike, tho I would recommend using your own stuff as the rental stuff like most fields is garbage. read more

My son has gotten into air soft and this is the closest location. I purchased his first air soft did here and it's served him well. Might have gotten it a little cheaper somewhere but the staff here was knowledgeable and helped me make the decision. Some times the store area has a decent selection and sometimes not. He plays here a lot of weekends. I used to stay and hang out , now I feel comfortable letting him stay until he is ready to leave. Terribly ran. Was up-sold on two smoke grenades for my sons 12th birthday and both of them malfunctioned and did not work. When it brought to management they would not refund anything at all. They wanted to replace them but the kids were done playing. What am I going to do at home with two smoke grenades? The teenage manager who works in a building and office without any power or lights was not only rude, and arrogant he would not do anything to help a 12yr old kid on his birthday. Doesn't get lower than that. They must need the money to pay their light bill. The whole team works in the dark. I'm sure there's some broken regulations there. Unfit working conditions. Pretty sad place. They already canceled their Halloween event due to lack of funds as well. This place is going down and the teenagers managing are sinking it further. Stay away and book somewhere else! Bunch of clowns that work there. What a joke. Also none of the bathrooms worked or had hot water. Absolutely disgusting. I paid $408 last February for my sons party. Had to change the dates due to covid. Tried rebooking earlier this year and they claimed they couldn't locate the payment. Emailed them PDFs of the email exchanges and credit card payment. I left countless emails and calls with no response. Had bbb reach out and nothing. I went here for airsoft with three of my friends, and had an absolute blast. Although it was my first time ever at Xtreme Park Adventures and at Airsofting, I had a great time. Between games I had about a 15-20 minute break, and there is a sizable area to put down your gear and just sit down with friends. We went in 2016 and had a blast. Now this place has gone downhill since. We will not be recommending or going back to this place. They're just money hungry. 2000 paintballs is now $70...(was $40 in 2016). And you get worse guns. They did upgrade their helmets though. One thing that bothered me is that some players receive low impact .50 caliber guns/ammo while other players were given .68 caliber guns/ammo. I can understand maybe a kids round but we were all adults. Seems a little unfair but they're just trying to save money where they can and still charge an insane amount. Every round was an upward of 60-70 people and was super disorganized. Also staff did not care to make sure the teams were even so there would be rounds where it would be 40 vs 20 people. Also, I think # of people per round should be capped. Again.... money hungry. It was not a good time. read more

Last weekend was my sons birthday so I took him and some of his friends to airsoft here. There wasnet a lot of people there but there was this one kid in particular who was wearing a blue sweater. After each game the kids would come back telling me that the kid was running around aggressively, running into building shooting every corner and putting more then 3-4 bbs into each kid. After one of the games, I went to go talk to the kid about trying to go easy on the kids because they have never played before. When I approached the kid all he said was "it's the way of the game, if you can't handle it go home" he then said "idiot squad for life". I don't recommend this place for little kids. read more

Just had my 14 year old's birthday party here this weekend. We drove from Fayetteville. We had 14 boys attend. They had a blast! Party room was great for the parents while the boys enjoyed their airsoft playtime. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Alex was very helpful when booking. Mary helped get us set up in the party room. The boy's guide was extremely polite to parents and helped the boys navigate the rules and playtime allowed. The general manager was checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed for an awesome airsoft party! They made it easy for this mamma! This place is very dangerous place specially for the young people with no experience please make sure you have the properly clothes and all the protection needy if not get ready to go to the ER and your fun bill will be a nightmare so think safe first before someone just want your money. I will never return here after many dangerous very well experienced players were all over the place hitting us all finishing with lots of injuries, my safety and happiness goes first and this is no way to have fun that last couple hours and then wait for your injuries to heel for months and just wait until the bills from the ER arrive very fun!! read more

This place is one of the best kept secrets North Carolina has to offer. They have zip lines, airsoft, rope courses, mining, and some of the best escape rooms I have ever been to. The staff is amazing and super friendly! One of the staff members named Jeremy, was quick to help us with everything we needed, took us on a tour of the entire grounds and gave us the absolute best time! He even took pictures for us as we did the ropes course and sent them to us! 10/10 absolutely would recommend, it's fun for everyone of all ages read more

This place is completely unorganized! I will blame myself for not being aware of the closing time, but it would have been nice to be informed when first signing my waiver or paying. Or at least having a visible sign out front. They have young teenagers at the front who aren't informing of any equipment or how your gun works. Luckily I went with 3 guys who brought their own guns and gear. After you get your equipment, your told wait by the picnic tables for instructions. There is no one else there. No signs. Nothing. We pretty much waited 30-45 minutes for the airsoft group to come back in. By then, we were told there was going to be only one game left. We went out to the field and weren't given any instructions. The instructor simply said we need two team captains, they started picking people, and then we ran off. Nothing else. I could not believe I waited this long for this. Was super pumped about finally playing and it was horrible. We would have been better off being dropped off in the woods and just shoot each other. Do not recommend and won't be returning. Oh, then when I get home and double check my receipt. I was overcharged $25 for two premium packages, when the guy I paid for had his own gear, which I clearly stated. Yea, not thanks! read more

XK is by far one of the best Airsoft/Paintball fields I have been to. Their staff is knowledgable, friendly and they have invested a lot into their space. I've been to fields where there is one or two sheds and some tarps hung for cover. This place has a lot of playable areas including 2 urban environments, a woods field with bases and a huge fort. I'm an Airsoft player and there's a good community of players here. We look out for each other and enjoy meeting new people. Entry fee is currently $25 for a full day. Great facility except for the deteriorated and water logged mdf structures, muddy fields and overpriced field fee of $25. If you are going to go bring a change of shoes and socks. This place has slowly gone down the shitter in the past 2 years and was once a nice facility. This place is beyond dope with so many things to do from paintball, airsoft, lazer tag, ziplining, etc. It's a lot of fun if you're looking for somewhere to go for a time out with the boys or a birthday party for a kid. I went to their escape room with my boyfriend for his birthday. We signed up for "The Lab" escape room. We loved how interactive it was, loved the thrill and the mystery, and loved being challenged and given a bit of a scare. German was our speaker over the mic and gave us a great intro to the place. We appreciated how he accommodated us, very polite, he even allowed us and extra minute or two to finish the game since we were so close. Worst place ever the airsoft people who go there every weekend will shoot you in the neck if you play paintball and you will know if they shoot at you they will look at you then leave if you shoot at them you will get a penalty I would go there if they dint have airsoft go to black ops or PBC paintball in Greensboro that was the worst paintball area I ever Been to in my 2 years of paintball and I m only a 11 I wish I could at least get a box of 2,000 paintballs for a refund but I already know they are going to say no and I play with a team called Indy storm and I alway have fun there because there is no airsoft and also 1 more thing just don't go there and they don't have no speedball field they could have at least 1 so you can't get shot by airsoft people and so speedball people could play there and also where the speedball field in the picture they said they had one read more

I've had a great time at this paintball complex. Good courses, dependable rental guns. Refs are a little slow to get games going - too much downtime - you know they're not going to stay open late, so any moment you're sitting there waiting for a ref is lost time, and less demand for their paint. Kinda irritated about my last visit though - heard one of the referees refer to black people as "monkeys" twice. I don't have high expectations (polite & efficient covers it) for someone that's chaperoning a paintball excursion, but blatant racism still manages to slide underneath that bar. Not too excited about returning - lots of amusement options competing for my disposable income and time - both those commodities can easily be spent elsewhere. read more

They offer a great $20 groupon voucher for 200 paintballs, unlimited air refill, face helmet and goggles and an all day access to the fields. I've been here twice, first time was great and second time was okay bc of their service. They said they close at 6pm on Saturday but they actually stopped all matches at 530pm that day. Which is nonsense bc this never happened last time I went and when a place closes up they do clean up after they close. It would have been more acceptable if they informed all the players that the last match was the last match. Instead they cheated 30+ people of their money and expectations. They signed in 30 people at 430pm and only provided us with one match this time. The match did not begin up until 450pm given setup/training time. So $20 used on one match was not really worth it. Although I may go again, there times a charm and my first experience here was great. I played three different rounds with 200 paintballs; the first time. You can also rent body vests for $5. The groupon for their venue is a steal of a deal. read more
