We gave him the vision of what we wanted and he really helped to make suggestions that would better the overall design and process while still maintaining the aesthetic we were looking for. He also went the extra mile by helping us locate a leak we knew we had but had no idea where it was coming from. Previously before working with him we had a bad experience and were extremely nervous about how these projects would go but him and his team continuously went above and beyond for us. They were both considerate of our home as we were living there and took care in the work they did. Both rooms are beautiful and the overall cost of the work was extremely fair (especially for the type of materials we selected). I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them for any projects you have. Adding before and after photos for how drastically they helped to transform the spaces.

With a project this big there are inevitably going to be hiccups and bumps along the way, but Eric was transparent about the situation and challenges presented and offered FAIR solutions. Throughout the process I learned that no one was going to care about the details of my house as much as myself. There was push and pull, but that will happen with any contractor. The important thing was Eric was willing to work with me to turn my vision into a cost effective reality and executed on a fairly aggressive timeline. I'd happily recommend him and his team.

Finesse Remodeling As first-time renovators we had no idea…read morewhere to begin with our condo. From day one Finesse Remodeling was there for us. Avi patiently explained the process and all our options. He helped us bring our vision into focus, distinguishing between good ideas and not-so-good ideas and helping us save time and money in the long run. As we quickly learned, quality installation is everything and Avi's teams delivered. Finesse office staff, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry and tile setters were all friendly, responsive and highly competent. Look no further, you have found your contractor.

We hired Finesse Remodeling to re-do our very tiny galley kitchen in January. After interviewing 3…read moreother contractors, we decided to go with Avi and Finesse because he showed the most enthusiasm and excitement for our project. I loved his attitude- he came in so full of joy, and never lost that joy throughout the project. You can tell he loves what he does. He was the only contractor who seemed to really hear me when I said what I had hoped for, and then he pitched his own ideas along those lines. We took almost all his ideas- which were really innovative and interesting. He followed up with me a couple days after the estimate (the only contractor to do so), and I figured if he was that interested in the job, his company would definitely do it well- I was right. A lot of the other contractors we interviewed made us feel like the job was too small for them, but we never felt that way with Avi and his crew. He always answered our calls or texts- which is actually pretty rare in this business. He was very responsive- never shirking responsibility- and definitely willing to fix any problems that came up during the whole process. That being said, there were a few problems. The project ended up taking about 2 weeks longer than originally estimated, and also cost quite a bit more. Some of that was just the nature of upgrading an 85 year old house (we had cloth wiring that needed to be entirely ripped out and replaced, and that process probably delayed our "simple" remodel by about 1 week.) Unfortunately, we also had some issues with the custom cabinets not being the right size, but Avi got the cabinet company to come back and make the fixes. The window sills were supposed to be made of the backsplash granite, but there was an issue with the measurements for that too, and we ended up with wooden sills instead. They still look great. This was my first experience with remodeling, and after talking to several friends who have had much worse experiences, it seems my issues were rather minor and not out of the ordinary. The most important thing is that Avi responded to and corrected all of the issues in a timely manner. In the end, all that really matters is the finished product. And the finished kitchen is truly beautiful! Avi's team, Luis and his son, were outstanding. You could tell they take a lot of pride in what they do, and they never half-assed any part of the remodel- the floor, the replacement dry wall, the trim, the window sills, the painting- it was all done with a lot of care and pride in making it right! The whole kitchen is gorgeous now, and I am extremely happy with it. I would definitely hire Avi & the Finesse team again!! GREAT JOB!

UPDATE - We are 6…read moreyears into a 90k kitchen remodel from OTM. And just now - we have FINALLY replaced everything that was completely half assed out of the gate - INCLUDING the Kemper Cabinets that have literally disintegrated. Don't believe the "lifetime warranty" rhetoric about the cabinets - because if the installer doesn't support the claim the claim goes unnoticed - and OTM will NOT support a claim. PERIOD. IT HAS COST US 40K more to rectify, replace, and correct everything that OTM promised. Look back at my previous reviews - this is a genuine multi year thread that is absolutely representative of the beginning, middle and (now) the end of a disastrously mis-managed and oversold project from OTM.

We had the work bid out by several construction companies in our area. We chose OTM to handle the kitchen as we were very impressed by their presentation and their clearly presented estimate -- that was about 30% less than the other bids by companies that weren't nearly as polished. In the end, we used them to redo our ENTIRE house. From ripping the house down to the floorboards, building a new fireplace, putting crown molding throughout to redoing the plumbing and electric in the entire house. We always felt taken care of by the companies owner, Offer. His keen design sense was also immensely valuable in making dozens of "on the spot" decisions quickly so we could make our move in date. Our experience was one of white glove service by a trustworthy company who we will always use and recommend for all our home construction needs in the future. We feel very fortunate to have had them as our primary contractor through an immensely stressful time.

Guy sourced a wonderful array of subcontractors who all were very professional and did an excellent job of communicating and letting us know what we needed. Guy also gave us the most competitive price for all of the labor that we could find anywhere else around Los Angeles. We are so incredibly happy with the end product of the floor and the cabinets and are working with Goldenline again on our future projects around the condo that we plan to do very soon. We have also gotten new brand new windows, sliding patio doors and collapsible bifold doors installed and they look fabulous and the work was clean, efficient and tidy! It's an incredibly rare thing in this industry to meet people who genuinely care and are invested in your best interests. Vlad, our project manager, and Guy, the company owner, gave us detailed SOWs (Statement of Works) from the onset that they stayed true to. They were consistently forthcoming about which costs would be out of pocket and what's covered in the SOW. They kept us within our budget and worked with us whenever any issue arose. For example, our HoA was particularly troublesome at points in this process, but Vlad and Guy handled the situation with such care and, again I cannot emphasize this enough, transparency. Something that was invaluable to us and saved us incredible headache. We originally started the process with only a kitchen remodel, and then after seeing how detailed and forthcoming they were about pricing and schedule, we added a bathroom remodel as well and chose to re-floor the entire unit. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Not only was the finished product truly gorgeous but they were wonderful and trustworthy people to work with -- something that's truly rare.

We had a vision, and Mike brought it to life!…read more We've tackled our fair share of remodel projects over the years, but nothing quite prepared us for the leap into a complete, ground-up ADU build. We knew this wasn't a project to hand off to just anyone, we needed a true expert, someone who could steer us through every twist and turn with confidence. That's exactly what we found in Mike. From our very first meeting, Mike had a calm, reassuring presence that told us we were in good hands. He listened closely to our vision, asked the right questions, and laid out a clear path forward that immediately put our minds at ease. And trust us, our minds needed easing, we came to him with a steady stream of nervous, sometimes repetitive questions, and he never once made us feel like a burden. He answered every single one with patience, warmth, and genuine reassurance. Communication was a true highlight of working with Mike. He kept us updated at every stage, so we always knew exactly where things stood. What could have been an incredibly stressful, all-consuming process instead felt manageable, even exciting. He also took the reins on coordinating with city inspectors throughout the entire build, handling all the back-and-forth so we didn't have to lift a finger. That alone lifted a massive weight off our shoulders. And the icing on the cake? He finished the entire project ahead of the estimated timeline, without ever cutting corners on quality or care. If you're on the fence about a big build like this, let us save you the trouble: call Mike. He turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one we're genuinely grateful for, and the final result speaks for itself. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

Mike applies his experience well with smart changes to the plans that we wouldn't have thought of, and was flexible when we had questions or changes to make.
